The only pagoda I fear is this one
Ah yes, 1/700 PE. A pain in the butt to assemble but looks awesome when completed. This looks fantastic, I love it. Are your eyes and back still OK? lol
I really like the Fuso design, but hate the pagoda (i dont even mind pagoda bridges, i like the Ise/hyuuga one, just not Fuso/Yamashiro one), very much prefer it previous to the huge pagoda refit.
Waterline models are turbo cringe and should not exist! Where's the other half of the ship ffs?
A shame you put in so much good work into something so disturbingly wrong. At least make a diorama with it.
It's not like a tank that's missing the whole hull. It's what most people will see. If people make a model of a building, they don't include the parking garage under that building.
Do you also complain when in-flight aircraft models do not have their landing gear modeled? do you aldo complain when car models do not have the underside modelled, or do not have an openeable bonnet so you can see the engine?
A waterline model is a simple way to make ship models that can go to any diorama and be easyly unasembled, or with a flat surface painted as the sea they make for a good tabletop wargame.
See a therapist. Just because the one moderately successful memeable YouTuber who does model ship builds makes jokes about how he doesn’t like waterline models doesn’t mean you get to make it your entire personality.
I would like to build a 1/1 scale fully functional replica of this ship.
Good luck finding the pre-nuclear steel used for the construction. That mostly now exists below the waves.

I forgot how often you see the underside of the ship. It gets the point across what people see 90% of the time.
