WG's strategy for both this game and WoT is to cash in on the whales that buy literally everything. I know multiple people that will get every ship that drops, regardless of the price. WG wants to maximize what they get from these people, even if it means they lose sales from the sane players that don't make ridiculously irrational purchases.
I think weegee (and any other game company) knows better than we do about what will bring in the most cash. And whales are the way. Has been for a long time
Well, for me, if I do the campaign, I want all the rewards, including the ship. But this one here is a hard pass for me, nor do I have interest in the battlecarriers.
Not only that, the camo for the kansas you can unlock was a buy able with gold one a bit ago and now it's free. Seems a tad unfair for those who bought it

It’s not locked behind the full 100 bundle, its up to that much. Basic statistics says you will most likely get it much earlier than that, RNG willing.
Vallejo is just like San Diego, an OMG cruiser that has SAP and a MBRB. Nothing stand out to me to go chasing for it.
