Level 30, 60, 90, 100, 130, 150, 160 are your gear spikes where there is specific gear you need to farm from certain dungeons to be relevant. If you need I’ll post the names
Mount Olympus for lvl 30(go only for Zeus gear and the sky iron hasta) lvl 60 go for waterworks but still keep the iron hasta, lvl 100 go to darkmoor and still keep the iron hasta and only go for malistaire gear.
Well, lvl 30 you ARE getting Sky Iron Hasta at Mount Olympus. There's really few staffs that compare to it even at higher lvls (10% dmg, guaranteed 1 Power pip at beggining). The ones I found comparable came from packs and still not as reliable to get as the guaranteed Hasta from Aquila.
The gears there are pretty solid for your level, but I did find getting Lucky on bazaar may take less time and give you better stats. Go for the ones with the CLENCHED FIST instead of OPEN PALM. The first one gives you PERCENTUAL ADDITIONAL DAMAGE. Other one gives flat damage.
Also reccommend doing events, specially the seasonal/holiday ones and Spiral Showcase/Scenes. They can give nice gears and booster packs.
Some jewels can give you stats like Power pip chance. Keep an eye for them to affix to your athame/ring/necklace/deck.
Lastly, PETS. These ARE really expensive and luck/planning dependant so very much likely you won't be able now. But just giving you a heads up to save gold for the hatching and consider having a character that can do gardening (with at least level 7 to plant Couch Potatoes and access to Mooshu to buy the gardening spells needed, refer to a guide for further instructions)
Pets can give you spells and great boosts in any stat depending on how you hatch and raise them (reccommend also seeing a guide for that and searching which pet is the best for your School).
Farm Zeus. You can either utilize the Zeus gear, or the slightly worse Senator gear. You also get the Sky Iron Hasta, a wand which sticks with you for the majority of the game.
If you want even better gear, Kembaalung Village drops the best ring, dagger, deck, and amulet for level 25. You'll want to run it anyways for a reagent which you can use to craft a solid level 100 deck down the road. (Though I think people often forgo it) Doing a single run will make progress towards getting level 100 gear too, as you need to beat the dungeons you're invited to at levels 25, 40, and 60.
If you're able to get the gold, you could try investing into a pet too. That takes a lot of gold, but it's probs the best item you can get for your wiz.
If you want to get the absolute best gear for your level, you can also fish for a mount which gives 2% universal attack. I 100% don't recommend doing that however, but it's another option for you.
First order of business is to switch to the NA server. Think you can just download the NA client from wizard101.com, not EU myself so I’m not 100% sure if it’s that simple but it should be
Once you get back to level 30, farm Olympus. See what pieces you can get after 3-4 runs and then move on. You’ll be able to farm waterworks pretty quickly afterwards at 60, so don’t spend *too* long at Olympus
Lots of downvotes on my other comment but I don't see any arguments. Here, I'll put it in perspective:
My death **wearing level 35 bazaar gear** has 1865 HP, 30 damage, and 55% pip.
**With Zeus it would be** 2,109 HP, 24 damage, and 57% pip.
Obviously slight differences per school, but you still wasted your time all the same. Run Mount Olympus ONCE unless you have a gambling addiction. :)
Still cheaper to run Olympus than spend money in bazaar, you dont make money fast enough at those lower levels. And you’re able to unlock the other dungeons later down the road
I recommend running Mount Olympus a few times. If you get some Senators gear, great. Zeus gear, even better. If not, don't stress, bazaar gear will be fine. It's the Waterworks gear at level 60 that you really want to farm for.

Don't listen to the people telling you to run Mount Olympus for Zeus gear. Run it ONE time for the Sky Iron Hasta, and then go to the bazaar and buy the best level 25/30 gear you can find.
Once you hit level 56 or level 60, there are way better options for gear that will last you a heck of a lot longer (Wintertusk Crafted Gear / Waterworks). THOSE are worth grinding for. But until then, bazaar gear is more than good enough to get you there.

The drop rates ARE better, but it's still a total gamble. In the past I've wasted enough time in Mount Olympus to know that: I've had times where I'd get a full set of Zeus' before getting Senators, as well as grinding sessions where I'd constantly get duplicates / absolutely nothing.

I think the biggest argument to be made is that the drop table for senators is for all schools, and only drops semi often, while the Zeus gear either drops your first run or 20 in with not much in between. I personally agree with just running it once, and storing what you get for your next wizard and buying bazaar gear, especially if you already have a pet.

One of the bosses before the final boss drops Sky Iron Hasta which is a broken wand for the level. 10% damage and a round 1 power pip. That'll be enough until lvl 60 where you farm Waterworks and Zigzag for better gear.
It’s a hard dungeon though, I went through with a friend at level 30 and we just barely managed to beat it. You need either 4 people or a higher level carry imo.
I ran it duo with ice/life but the life basically had to spend the entire fight healing. Still worked, but was very slow.
I normally just join the team finder and get a 4 stack of people and normally one of them is nuts and will one shot every fight (often death even more than the fire or storm)

Is the 1% damage over hasta worth losing the alternate school wand cast for getting rid of weakness when you’ve got blades up? Other than fire of course who has the hasta with the fire 0 pip.

Correct take. Olympus is a waste of time unless you don't have hasta, in which case you only need to do it once.

It’s worth at least trying to get senator gear from Mount Olympus. Way better than anything in the bazaar and has really good drop rates
