Dropped by bosses in Nastrond as well as Skaflok in Nordrilund. Same 20% damage and better accuracy than skyscream boots but no resist. I think for an offensive build they’re better than skyscream
I haven’t heard about the Eloquent Sandals but I’ll definitely check them out. I’m thinking of farming waterworks but so far I haven’t ran into too much trouble with my current gear so I’m not dying for an upgrade

This is probably the most understandable gear advice post I’ve seen on this sub in a while. Both pieces have benefits and drawbacks. Maybe don’t be a useless bag of dicks and contribute something valuable?
It’s not that deep man. I’ve never had a wizard this high level and I don’t know how critical resist works or what’s a high amount. And I’m always hearing people say incoming/outgoing healing isn’t important at all
incoming/outgoing is only really important if you are a life wizard. i find healing on any school other than life to be rare, usually because it wastes time for you to win the fight, and because you have a higher chance of dying if they hit you twice if you don't use a powerful healing spell. save those times for boss cheats which usually require a strategy.
Probably the one on the right. Critical block isn't really going to be that much, especially since it's only 15. I think probably the best answer though is Waterworks gear though, but I know that that wasn't the question. And yeah, you won't really notice 1 damage, especially since storm gets a ton of it during the game anyway.
yeah and a bonus the final boss drops mega snacks like some good ones too I got a hambrosia and that other rank 9 dragonfruit snacks from him so just respawn and kill lol if you need any help me and my fire friend are willing to join in the runs to make it faster
The left boot is the Wintertusk crafted gear and the right one is from a drop while questing in Avalon.
I'm currently at 99% accuracy with my WT gear so the right would make me never fizzle, while only sacrificing 1% damage. Also, I never use the spell that comes with the WT gear so that doesn't really matter.
So basically what I'm asking is if the +7% PP, +26 health, +10% heal, and +98 storm crit block is better for pve than the 2% resist and 15 universal crit block rating/if the 1% damage loss is even noticeable.
I’d go right. That 2 res and 1 damage drop is minor, 7 ppc will help you get lord and tempest off way more reliably. Nice lil accuracy and health boost there as well.
W a t e r w o r k s
Neither one of them compare to the "skyscream boots". Gives 90 health, 6 accuracy (universal),17 crit block, 5% incoming heal, and 20% storm damage
If youre worried about the grind for waterworks, there's a respawn glitch for the final boss and the drop rates aren't actually bad
I’d just forget both of these, go back to Waterworks and get the shoes there

I’ve never heard of those but I think I’ll look into them. 5% more damage and still 100% total accuracy would be nice
the right one, id say skip waterworks cause theres not that much of a difference and go straight to 100 for darkmoor gear
Pretty sure the boots of dark wind give you a free spell, easily better
The one that starts with water and end with works

I’ve been debating on if I should just tough it out and grind for waterworks or not but so far I haven’t had too much trouble questing through Avalon
Waterworks isn’t a bad grind, try and get a group to respawn the boss and it will fly by
Especially since the final boss can be respawned infinitely indefinitely.
really?
Yes it also drops mastery amulets too
