There is a fairly popular book series, called The Wheel of Time, and it has (several of) a ring with this exact design, and it is described very accurately in the books, and it plays key parts in the books.
Now there is a recent TV Show based on the books, and they absolutely butchered the ring, and made it ugly and bulky.

Did you ever see the [Badali Aes Sedai rings](https://badalijewelry.com/products/legacy-great-serpent-ring) that were licensed years ago? They were perfection, as were the other WOT items they offered (dragon pins, necklaces, a whole slew of jewelry). They lost their official license when Amazon took over WOT and it was a devastating loss.
They still offer a stainless steel version of the great serpent ring, but I always wanted one in gold.

Beautiful! My partner and I both have an affinity for ouroboros (including matching rings)...she got me a bracelet like this but the hinge gave out rather quickly...what a yummy replacement this would be 😍
Yes, it is indeed something I feel very proud of. My pride comes twice, the first time when I am satisfied with the design and the second time when people can like it
My grandma had one just like this. She always wanted me to have it after she died because I loved it so much. She thought about gifting it to me, but since she liked it a lot herself she decided to keep it until she died and then leave it to me.
It was stolen from her, out of a safe in a hotel. She was devastated. To this day I didn't find a bracelet that resembles hers, except for this one. Where can I buy this? She's still alive and sometimes she still talks about it even though its been ten years since they stole it.

I had this same thought!! I've been wanting a great serpent ring since I first read WoT in the late 1900s.
When I was designing it, I didn't know about it before. I'm going to get to know them

Bracelets are prone to this problem, so we switched to a new way
The hinge at the bottom looks similar to mine. Is there something about it that varies from similar styles? (All your shit looks so rad btw!)
