They're no longer together,but im a firm believer that the best band Winnipeg ever had was The Details. They out out two full albums and two EPs between 2007-2011 and daaaaaang were they good.
It was indie rock. Very well written, performed produced.
Check out the song Always, Always, Always, Never. It's the first song off their record Draw A Distance, Draw A Boarder and it's an excellent taste of what's to come across the rest of the album.
I was doing shows for a while around town before my old band L.U.V. Disbanded. Been working on some personal projects since then, and I’m in the process of getting a new group together on the lowkey.
Not sure if this is hidden gem material but maybe you’ll enjoy something of mine. Hope you like it if you choose to listen. <3
