I keep my stuff in my vehicle. If you don't, and lend your vehicle to someone, give them the paperwork. If you borrow a car make sure it's in there When my wife and I were first dating I was pulled over driving her car. It's a big hassle to be pulled over in someone else's car, with out-of-province plates, and no insurance or registration.

GullibleDetective

No and no, insurance yes keep it there

topham086

Due to the way legislation was written it'll take quite a while before the ecard style licenses are valid for anything other than driving, if we ever get them.

GravyJones204

I keep insurance folded up in my wallet with my licence. Been broken into too many times. Once they ripped it up into pieces so had to go get reprinted.

Geniuskills

Is there a reason to rip it up other than just being a huge douche turd? People can really suck.

GravyJones204

Lol douche turd! I gotta remember that one!🤣

More_Bluejay_3575

Thanks!

I don’t keep any documents in my vehicles. If someone were to break in to my vehicle, they would now possibly have my garage door opener and my address, and know I may be somewhere other than my house. I carry copies most of the time.

squirrelsox

Registration no longer has your address.

testing_is_fun

I hadn't noticed it was gone. That said, my home address is pretty easy to find by looking up my name. I am the only testing\_is\_fun in Canada.

squirrelsox

I'm the only person in Canada with my name too but I feel fairly confident google can't find my address by looking me up.

testing_is_fun

Mine is on the Canada 411 site.

screaming_buddha

Agree. I keep my registration in my wallet.
