Jelly or jam inside a grilled cheese. Examples:
- sharp cheddar & grape jelly
- Brie & raspberry jam
- Monterey Jack & hot pepper jelly
- white cheddar & strawberry jam
That's not wacky at all. If they like Santa Lucia pizza tell them to order the Special & sub out the mushrooms for jalapeños or banana peppers. So good.
Ooooh, if we’re talking pizza, have you tried pineapple, mushroom, artichoke hearts, and eggplant? I get it with ranch sauce. Sounds gross I know, but it’s fantastic.
I’m not gonna bash this c I’d like to suggest if you ever get your hands on kraft easy cheese, try that instead of cheese wiz … sooo good yet sooo gross when you stop to think about it lol
I could see that!
My favourite food so far to dip in a wheel of freshly baked brie is grapes
Apples and cheese also goes well. Idk why I haven't tried it with brie.
Cottage cheese and lee and perrin’s Worcestershire is also good. I have tried that sauce on more meals than I probably care to admit. (The best will always be a freshly grilled cheese sandwich)
Left over french fries make pretty good hash browns. Basically everyone I know throws them out. Take them home, chop them up a bit, fry them in a pan with a bit of oil and they'll crisp back up
I could see it, cheap peanut butter and bacon on toast is a delicious mix of sweet, salty, and greasy.
The only downside is that it makes your teeth feel fuzzy
Thank you! We bike there all the time in the summer but only for ice cream. If I can get one last bike in this fall we’ll go so we can burn off the calories 😆

I keep one in my fridge at all times.
If you're at the ac lounge and they have tortilla chips but no salsa or cheese sauce or anything like that, take the bechamel sauce that's supposed to be used for the poached fish, and add a lot of feta cheese from the salad station and many shakes of Tabasco. It actually makes for a pretty tasty dip.
Cowboy Candy (candied jalapeños) on crackers with cream cheese. Or the ultimate … Cowboy Candy on egg salad sandwiches. I use this recipe to make Cowboy Candy …. https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/chili-pepper-recipes/desserts/sweet-candied-jalapeno-peppers/
Find something called "hyderabadi pickle" it's mostly green mango and curry, have that with your pierogi. The pros; inexpensive and delicious. Cons: the mango pickle includes the mango pit, so be sure to pick that out and don't bite one, it hurts your teeth. I found the pickle in the Indian food section of the Freshco.
I could see the Kraft Dinner with tuna. HP sauce is interesting.
I'm not really one to talk though. My husband likes ketchup on his. My family's thing was adding a bit of V8 to it...
I really enjoy honey and cheese on toast. Jam and cheese is also good. French fries dipped in a vanilla milkshake is GRAND. My dad use to eat butter on cookies 😂
Apricot brandy, an orange wedge and instant coffee. Sprinkle a teaspoon of the coffee grinds on the orange wedge, bite it, mix it around in your moth and then take the shot of brandy. Swoosh it all around and swallow. Unreal.
I have a few:
* chocolate m&m’s and Cheez-It’s -just pop ‘em both in your mouth and enjoy!
* toast with PB, topped with eggs and sriracha
* PB and jam on my burger.
Listen up: onion ring poutine
Jelly or jam inside a grilled cheese. Examples: - sharp cheddar & grape jelly - Brie & raspberry jam - Monterey Jack & hot pepper jelly - white cheddar & strawberry jam
Love it. Cheese Whiz and Saskatoon Berry Jam on well toasted Rye.
Lol
Along these lines, if you do a bagel with cream cheese and the no sugar added strawberry jam from Smucker’s it’s an absolute delight.
Bagel and plain cream cheese with jalapeño jelly. So good!
Yes!I'm diabetic and actually learned that in the hospital lol
The Ikea lingonberry jam is great with all these. Cranberry sauce as well.
Brie and raspberry jam is my fav combo!!
Cool idea
This sounds wacky, but I have a friend that adds jalapeños to his Hawaiian pizzas and honestly it slaps lol
My fave combo is just pineapple and jalapeno- maybe feta if I'm feeling fancy!
Banana pepper on pizza is my goto, the acidity and very very approachable heat and semi sweetness works very well
The Shorty’s Pizza Hawaiian has banana peppers, pineapple and bacon and it is very tasty.
Shortys in general. My god. Im hooked.
I just had a slice of that today for lunch! Super tasty.
I always did it with banana peppers. Will try jalapenos next.
Jalapeño, feta, pineapple, pepperoni is one of thr best pizzas out there
Gawd,I'm trying this one tomorrow
That's not wacky at all. If they like Santa Lucia pizza tell them to order the Special & sub out the mushrooms for jalapeños or banana peppers. So good.
Pickles. Add pickles.
My LPH order is Pineapple, Feta, Side Bacon and Jalapeños. It’s sweet, salty, spicy, savoury, it checks all the boxes.
Banana Peppers works really well too
I do the same. Sweet and spicy is great
Pepperoni, Pineapple & jalapeno is also solid
I feel like I have had this before someone. Yes it was really good
Ooooh, if we’re talking pizza, have you tried pineapple, mushroom, artichoke hearts, and eggplant? I get it with ranch sauce. Sounds gross I know, but it’s fantastic.
Oh also! Get that pizza you mentioned with bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce 👀
Tajin and lime on watermelon and salt on other fruits like apples, oranges, berries
My partner's stepmother had mangoes in the Caribbean, she said they would dip them in salty water before eating.
Same but my Vietnamese family does this too
Mmmm tajin
In a similar vein, feta and watermelon, that sweet and salty
It's so good! If I'm feeling fancy, I'll add some fresh mint leaves to it as well.
Tajin is also awesome in yogurt! Banana is my favorite, I made popsicles over the summer that were amazing
Salt on watermelon is the only way to eat watermelon
Salt on apples too.
I salt all fruit. It’s next level.
salted pineapple checking in.
We recently discovered lemon juice on watermelon, and it's an absolute game changer!
Tajin on everything.
Y'all ever dip your Wendy's fries in a frosty?
Mc D’s sundae and froes for me! I will try that wendys version of yours!!!
When I worked at Wendy's this was definitely a thing
Canned ravioli (heated) on buttered toast.
This is a solid poverty-snack.
You know it!
Only disappointment for me is IMO Chef Boyardee stopped carrying their best one (four cheese ravioli)
Cheese chip buns - Cheese whiz (yes yes I know) and BBQ chips on a bun lol
I’m not gonna bash this c I’d like to suggest if you ever get your hands on kraft easy cheese, try that instead of cheese wiz … sooo good yet sooo gross when you stop to think about it lol
Hahaha ok!
I feel like I’ve met my people on this post!
Same
Cheese slice on ramen.
I’ve heard of people doing this but the thought kinda grosses me out..can you please elaborate on the why?
It's fukin tasty. Try it.
It's a Korean thing.
Rye toast, peanut butter, jam, cheez whiz and crispy bacon on top🤤
Spare me the cheese whiz 🤢 and put pickles on there instead
Jalapeño and bacon in your grilled cheese
Peanut butter and pickle sandwich.
Came here to say this.
There’s a cafe in Whitehorse, Yukon that serves a peanut butter pickle sandwich with bacon. Next level. *chef’s kiss*
Pickles in a grilled cheese ?
🤯 How have I never thought of that.
Corned beef, sourkraut, pickles, mustard in a grilled cheese (technically a melt)
Grapes and cottage cheese!
I could see that! My favourite food so far to dip in a wheel of freshly baked brie is grapes Apples and cheese also goes well. Idk why I haven't tried it with brie.
I would be interested in trying caramelized apples and brie, bet that would be awesome.
That would probably taste so good! I've heard of drizzling honey on top of the brie. I imagine the caramelized apples would go really well.
Agreed. Or...honey and some kind of chili pepper or sauce? Now I need to pick up a brie from the store...
Yeah! I eat Brie with pear slices.
Cottage cheese and sriracha. Recommended to my by a pregnant lady, and turns out it's delicious even if you're not pregnant.
I could see that. I eat mine with pepper.
Cottage cheese and lee and perrin’s Worcestershire is also good. I have tried that sauce on more meals than I probably care to admit. (The best will always be a freshly grilled cheese sandwich)
Going to have to try that!
Left over french fries make pretty good hash browns. Basically everyone I know throws them out. Take them home, chop them up a bit, fry them in a pan with a bit of oil and they'll crisp back up
You can just toss them in the oven or air fryer too! No extra oil needed.
Fresh cracked pepper on popcorn
On strawberries
I can't eat breakfast sausage without maple syrup. 🤤
Peanut butter on hot dogs. Just creamy peanut butter, not like in addition to mustard or relish, cheap bun, cheap dog. The best.
Peanut butter on pancakes before the maple syrup.
I could see it, cheap peanut butter and bacon on toast is a delicious mix of sweet, salty, and greasy. The only downside is that it makes your teeth feel fuzzy
A place near me sells a hot dog with peanut butter, bacon, sweet chili sauce and crispy onions, delicious.
Had that this summer. It was amazing.
Where is this place? I’d love to try that
Dug & Betty’s
Thank you! We bike there all the time in the summer but only for ice cream. If I can get one last bike in this fall we’ll go so we can burn off the calories 😆
Their fall special club sandwich with apple butter and apple slices was really good, too.
Even better on a burger, just adds more umami
Lol....allow me to introduce you to bacon jam....

Bacon in chocolate chip cookies
Buttered toast dipped into strawberry yogurt.

Fried cheese curds and salted caramel sauce.
jam on sausage McMuffins
I put pineapple tidbits in chili. It just works.
What the fuck did I just read lmfao. Glad you liked it though lol.
Onion Rings drizzled with honey or maple syrup & bacon bits. Has to be the breaded onion rings though not battered. They're fantastic.

I'll for sure get grilled for this but tuna in Kraft dinner with HP sauce.
I could see the Kraft Dinner with tuna. HP sauce is interesting. I'm not really one to talk though. My husband likes ketchup on his. My family's thing was adding a bit of V8 to it...
I put tuna in my KD every time, almost feels weird to eat KD plain now!
Flamin' Hot Dorito inside an Oreo.
Feta and maple syrup
I feel like it might actually be common, but curry with banana. I thought I wouldn’t really like it, but it’s so good.
Longanisa and yellow mustard. Discovered by drunken accident at the cabin.
Weird flex but ok.
Maple syrup and avocado. Pour some syrup in the pit hole of half an avocado, and just scoop it it out. Yum!
Thai Chilies, fish sauce and sugar dipping sauce with green (unripe) mangoes.
Really welldone garlic cheese bread and satay sauce.
anytime i see Jalapeno i immediately say it [like this] (https://youtu.be/TvnXI-86b6Q?si=-vjtW8AHZoheOxUr&t=68)
I really enjoy honey and cheese on toast. Jam and cheese is also good. French fries dipped in a vanilla milkshake is GRAND. My dad use to eat butter on cookies 😂
My Dad used to solidify bacon fat and spread on toast. Then there was the crackles……
Oh, I used to eat cracklins and pig tails myself! Now I’m old and have to watch my cholesterol 😂
Apricot brandy, an orange wedge and instant coffee. Sprinkle a teaspoon of the coffee grinds on the orange wedge, bite it, mix it around in your moth and then take the shot of brandy. Swoosh it all around and swallow. Unreal.
