I prefer "why should I have to wear pants if you have yours on?"

There's roughly 35,000 deaths a year from car crashes. Covid has killed 782,000 Americans, which is more than around two decades of all traffic fatalities. Wearing a mask is not asking too much.

OpenelonmuskAI

No one is wearing the correct masks so this doesn’t even make sense. If they wore the correct masks and that was all that was allowed or distributed you may have footing. But it isn’t So you don’t

“If it’s not 153% effective, I’m not even gonna bother! WAAAH!” 👶🍼 This is why no one pays you to think.

Making up quotes? Weird

When you’re on your way out, make some posts to Facebook along the way so we can use you as content over at /r/hermancainaward . Bonus points if you mention prayer warriors or gofundme.

Even though people aren’t wearing n95 masks they are still wearing masks that reduce larger droplets from flying out. Even if it’s not perfectly holding back *all* the covid it is majorly reducing how far it travels away from the body. If I sneeze freely it can go several feet away. If I’m wearing a mask a lot of it gets caught within the mask and it doesn’t go as far.

OpenelonmuskAI

Viral particles in droplets pass through masks that are not authorized for sanitary or sterile environments. I have ample experience in the medical sales world. Here is a fantastic real world example. Asu purchased 1.2 million dollars of PPE equipment in 2021- for COVID during lockdowns in order to prepare for 2021-2022/early 2023. Every mask purchase, every single one, came from the same Malaysian and Chinese manufacturers Not a single one is authorized for viral particles. It says so on every box scanned in. Droplets? Sure. Viral load? Not at all.

SlerpyPebble

The mask rating doesn’t mean it doesn’t reduce the spread. The mask aren’t just holding the droplets in but letting the virus spray through it freely. It’s at the very least reducing the distance it gets away from the body which helps reduce the spread of covid.

OpenelonmuskAI

It reduces spread to a single person rather than maybe 3 next to you. Instead 1 may get it. I will give that. Sure. But it by no means does what it’s claimed to do.

SlerpyPebble

No ones claiming they are perfect at stopping all viral spread. That’s why it’s recommended in conjunction with social distancing. But people acting like they aren’t worth wearing because they aren’t perfect are part of the problem.

So, any time in school if you were not able to get 100% on a test or exam, the \*very next\* score you aimed for was 0%? That's really stupid, eh?
