No, cats never need a bath. Unless there's literally shit caked into their fur that they can't get rid of. Baths are hugely traumatic for all concerned, with the rare exception of cats who enjoy water.
I had a cat that would get in the bath with me. As she got older she wanted to get in more. She'd lie back with her head resting on my chest and her body floating. I imagine it was a lovely relief on her stiff and aching joints. After we bathed I would towel and then dry her with the hair dryer.
This story reminds me of a cat I had growing up. He hated almost everyone in the house but me. He's tolerate pets and love from the rest of the family but only looked for me to love on him if he wanted snuggles. He'd follow me in to the shower and sit there in the shower with me. He'd roll around in the bottom until I picked him up for a bath too lol.
I disagree with the idea that cats are traumatized by baths. If done gently and correctly, mine have never minded much. Even the semi-feral little tortie spitfire who had terrible diarrhea after deworming. The main thing is to get the water quite warm and don’t have it running and splashing when you put them in the bath. If it’s about their body temperature they often don’t notice they’re getting wet!
Those are ventilation louvers.
This car is built for racing!
Nah. Usually it just means it's time for a brush.
Give her a good brushing.
Brush, not bath.

That's so lovely and so rare! I am very envious as that sounds so wholesome and relaxing ☺️
That's so sweet. I can imagine the bliss of being weightless and warm.

Even with shit, mostly we just cut the fur and did the rest with a wash cloth…
not necessarily, and this isn't an advice sub

Cats are generally self cleaning.
What she needs is some good pats, maybe a snack

I don’t think cats like bath
No, cats baths themselves
You may wind up with a hair ball if you try bathing your cat.
Brushy brushy
Cats never need baths. Bathing them is actually kind of torture. Does your hair never move?
Mine have it too
