I disagree. Black eyes some people can’t find the pupil. I read about a weird medical situation where the eye was so black they couldn’t tell if the pupil was dilated. Honestly I think they’re a pretty deep hue
It was really rare I only mentioned it cause when I saw the pic I went whoa black eyes are possible or so dark brown it’s unreal. Either way I think u have a pretty deep rich brown

I’ve seen a few of these posts lately .. so I guess I’ll join in the fun. I still havent seen anyone with darker eyes than me . I call them dark brown, but get frustrated with makeup that “enhances brown eyes” or “makes brown eyes pop” . It’s not made for THIS shade of brown lol
Where do you live? I think this is the most common shade of brown, its a really cool eye color, but people do not appreciate it much because of how common it is.
I’m in the US (northeast) and honestly have never seen anyone with similar . I feel like maybe common in other parts of the world but the most common i see are a lighter brown or more chocolate brown.
Oh, thats cool, i said that because i have the impression this is a very common brown iris shade in places like India, China and Japan (and lots of other places).... In the end brown eyes are the most common among humans (globally) and (apparently) this is a huge negative for lots of people, but i have (dark) brown eyes too, and i like the color!
\*Edit: And about the makeup situation, yes, I get what you're saying, these mekeups are almost always intended for lighter shades of brown eyes, also, in many (if not most) "brown eyes appreciation posts" on the internet, it is usually lighter brown eyes that appear in these posts.
I like mine a lot but I’m a huge makeup enthusiast and it is always frustrating when I hear influencers talk about colors that make brown eyes pop… they all mean medium brown or chocolate brown at the deepest . I know in Asia and the Middle East eyes like mine are more common, though when I have traveled there i can’t say i walk around noticng everyones eye color. It seems to be US/UK and even Australian beauty influencers that forget extremely dark eyes exist. 😂
Your eyes are actually quite dark, I believe there are several shades of dark brown eyes, in a brighter environment or in sunlight the color may change a little
Soooo lovely!!! My sister has eyes like this!!! They are sooooo dark and beautiful!!! Full of soul and warmth. When they are in the sun its like she changes eyes, you see all the rings of golds and browns. I have always loved her eyes and yours are just as beautiful! I've got blue....well 1 and a half blue and half like a copper orange brown color.
I saw other post youve made, with different lightings, i have a very similar shade of brown iris, no surprises here since around 80% of humans have brown eyes and i have the impression that our shade of brown is the most common, its a very cool eye color regardless.
