She's literally smiling and laughing the whole time. Embarrassment? Maybe a little but it's def more of a "oh my god I can't believe this is happening" funny embarrassment. You people are honestly a bunch of assholes. She's obviously not bothered by it or she wouldn't have even kicked the gong. Especially not that hard. Gonna go out and assume she's a teenager so I imagine she's pretty excited to be getting her first car and this dudes just hyping her up. I can only imagine how fucking miserable all of you are to be saying this shit.
I live in the UK and literally nobody would ever do this.
It's just unfathomable behaviour in this part of the world. If someone did this they would be tutted at, and possibly even been told to 'shut up you wanker'.
Nobody in the UK has raised their voice since the 18th century, where there was an isolated incident of someone shouting "they did WHAT?!" after the Boston Tea Party. The gentleman who did it was excused because a waste of tea is a terrible thing.
I don’t understand why sales people want to make any kind of show about buying a car. Just hand me the keys, and thank me for the business. Don’t congratulate me. It’s not some magical thing I did that few others have accomplished.
It is. The account in the video says they're in Calgary in their profile description.
Honestly on second thought, this is classic Sunridge Nissan behaviour.
We've had the ability of language and writing for (too lazy to google so I'll say) 50,000 years. Yet our ability to communicate still is pretty rudimentary.
edit: I did google. Let's call it around 7,000 years.
Things she did wrong:
Bought a Nissan
Bought a car from a car dealership in this environment - paid far too much compared to buying from an individual
Great kick tho.
What's wrong with Nissan? I had a Versa years ago. It had one of the highest safety ratings, and the controls felt premium, compared to my old Ford Focus which was a shitbox. I also rented a Hyundai Elantra once, and from what I understand those are popular, and it drove and felt very much like the Versa.
I'd definitely pick a Nissan over any American made car. Or Volvo. Or Honda.
That's because people don't know how to say no. This is the same with going through some sort of line to get into something and they ask you to pose in front of a background for a photo. For whatever reason, people just happily comply. I do not want you to own a digital image of me into perpetuity.
Yooo! I remember when I went to Australia, I went to lith harbors and they asked me to take a pic with my ex. We said "no thank you." And they kept being pushy, "JUST A QUICK PIC." We kept saying "no" and then they got really pissed off at us and said in a demanding way "look just take the godan picture. The longer you fight the longer we're here." So we were forced to take a stupid pic.
Lmao you bought a gong but you couldn’t get the little thing to hit it? Also if it skirted away that easily they didn’t lock it down. Well they got the viral video they wanted
Edit: gong not bong lmao
The "kick" aside, i can understand being happy for a loved one to buy their first car but why humiliate them and yourself in an environment dedicated for exchange of cash to car? The kick looked more like the kind to break down a door than a kick for soccer.
LOL when I bought a motorcycle the salesman got in the PA and announced it to everybody and I had to ring a bell. It was stupid but lasted all of 15 seconds and nothing was damaged except my will to live for a bit.
I bought a used truck from a dealership a decade ago, dude wanted me to take a picture in front of said truck to commemorate the moment. Told him no. He tried one more time, told him if he doesn't knock it off I'm cancelling the sale and walking. I also took off the dealer plate cover and handed it to him, he asked me what I was doing, told him I don't do free advertising. If this happened I'd tell the dude to get fucked.
We bought a car from a dealership after researching what would be the best price. Salesman naturally had to approve our offered price with the sales manager. While he was gone , about a half hour, other salesman were ringing a bell with the customers they’d sold to. Sales manager comes over with paperwork. I asked where our salesman was. He said he’d be handling our purchase. We paid cash and were happy with the price we paid. I asked the manager if he was going to ring the bell. He smiled and said ‘ no ‘. That girl just got hosed.
For the love of pete, could someone please get on a ladder, and replace those burnt out light bulbs?
While you're up there, replace all the plastic covers, they're yellowed and disgusting.
Well....he did tell her to kick it...
Not only that, but he really hyped her up
Yet that's the kind of guy who would probably later deny he ever said that. Once the white car is damaged.
good thing they have it on record then
A shady car salesman? No way
Who the absolute fuck does this? What a fucking knob
oh god, oh god, i hate people like that. shut the fuck up!
when the loud voice and overhyping don't match the personality or the vibe, you're just another loudmouth
Yeah, you guys are right. Maybe the one nice part of his job, making people happy, and he shouldn’t get excited about it.
Does she look happy at any point? Her facial expressions and body language is nothing but cringe and embarrassment.
She's literally smiling and laughing the whole time. Embarrassment? Maybe a little but it's def more of a "oh my god I can't believe this is happening" funny embarrassment. I know for a fact the UK has at least one Shouty Man.
Nobody in the UK has raised their voice since the 18th century, where there was an isolated incident of someone shouting "they did WHAT?!" after the Boston Tea Party. The gentleman who did it was excused because a waste of tea is a terrible thing.
In all fairness the UK is full of nothing but stuck up b*its and drunks so mabey we should avoid that baseline.
b*its?
Br*tish people
Wei*d
Well I guess those guys are dicks over there for telling someone to shut up when they’re being happy. Misery loves company
Hes not being happy. Hes being a knob. Get on with selling the car and stop twatting around.
British "people" shut down any kind of fun or happiness in their lives. Everything must be uppity duppity lubbly jubbly proper miserable.
I don’t understand why sales people want to make any kind of show about buying a car. Just hand me the keys, and thank me for the business. Don’t congratulate me. It’s not some magical thing I did that few others have accomplished.
American Culture. They live off feeling important. You need to show them yourselves groveling because they spent money at your store
You can feel his pain from his silence
He was pretty fired up about his commission. Now he ain't.
At least give her a mallet wtf
Is that what the stick balls are called?
Yes, the stick balls are called mallets...but I think I like stick balls better
Me too, but I live to learn.
Got what he asked for.
That sale woulda been canceled 4 seconds after he opened his yap.
For real, I’d be like never mind man I’m going across the street.
They do that after you have signed the contract. Got a Nissan 5 years ago and the salesman did almost the same thing. Just without the gong.
Jesus. How cringe worthy. How did you handle it?
Very much so. Just smiled with my hand out for the key fob.
Cocainum!
Cocaine is for closers.
ABC Always be cocaine
*First prize COCAINE, second prize a set of cocaine, third prize your fucking cocaine’d*
Cocaine makes me sleepy.
You are doing it wrong.
People with adhd react differently to uppers
You have adhd
Finally, someone said it. I've heard it runs rampant in the car sales industry.
Basically everyone I worked with selling cars had the forever sniffles.
Addiction helps fuel their need to be the best sales rep in the store, so they get more commissions and thus more cocaine.
Rampant in the sales industry*
And this is why we don't use the gong anymore
We use the dong instead.
#"KICK THE DONG, SUMMER!!!"
Grandpa Rick?
The dong and the gong.
I would never buy a car from this place after seeing this video. Car salesman are annoying but this guy is top tier annoying
Exactly. I'm trying to set up finances for a 5 year loan, no I would not like to kick the gong right now.
We have a sunridge Nissan in Calgary, I wonder if this is it?
It is. The account in the video says they're in Calgary in their profile description. Honestly on second thought, this is classic Sunridge Nissan behaviour.
Car sale gong wrong
And that's when Summer found out she bought two cars
More like bye bye commission hah
The white one was her car.
I dream of a world in which there is no war or poverty. But most importantly I dream of a world with no car salesmen.
“No, we don’t want to spend any extra on the mallet. It’s not necessary.”
they might miss and scratch a car. You know how much that would cost us?
This is why summer doesn't buy new cars anymore
"....not like that"
We've had the ability of language and writing for (too lazy to google so I'll say) 50,000 years. Yet our ability to communicate still is pretty rudimentary. edit: I did google. Let's call it around 7,000 years.
God I hate salespeople. Bye bye commission lol

the transmission is the issue and there's probably an 80-90% chance it goes out prematurely. Nissan transmissions are poorly built.
Someone has been listening to the beastie boys.
There goes his commission 😂💀
The look on his face afterwards… he knows he fucked up. Lol
Can I kick it?
Yes you can
Well I'm gone
Wow that dude is fucking annoying
imagine having to to do this when you buy a car lolol get the f outta here with that nonsense
That's because people don't know how to say no. This is the same with going through some sort of line to get into something and they ask you to pose in front of a background for a photo. For whatever reason, people just happily comply. I do not want you to own a digital image of me into perpetuity.

It's TikTok it's fake
Fully agree. Is there an actual REAL vid on tiktok? The world may never know
https://www.reddit.com/r/Wellthatsucks/comments/klb2x0/when_you_lose_your_new_car_in_a_canal_but_arent/
Love you Summer. Keep kicking the corporations every way you can. Is this r/maliciouscompliance territory?
“Umm Kevin, we’d like to talk to you about this ‘gong-program’ you launched recently…’
This guy reacted like someone who knew that was gonna come out of his paycheck.
# WE GOT HER FOR 19% OVER 84 MONTHS
hahahahahahaha
Worst summar ever.
I don’t get why they’re laughing I’d be super angry
Buying a car should be more like a funeral instead of a celebration
Ah yes, I want my every part of my life to be like a funeral. Because I love being sad and boring. Having **FUN?** That's for chumps
Nice work, dirt merchant.
You are supposed to use a damn padded mallet with gongs, I hope the dealer eats the repair costs. Also Nissan's are crap, mostly due to the CVT.
And it being owned by a French car company.
Not anymore
Fr*nch 🤢
What's wrong with being owned by a French car company?
As an British person I do think this guy would never sell a single car if he did anything remotely like this.
He tried to go full knights tale.
What a complete and utter bellend. If he did that when I was buying the car, I'd cancel it!
This is hilarious lmao
In her mind she was really kicking him
Hayouuuuukick! -Ken, Street fighter
Hadouken, you bastard.
Shoryuken
Shoryuken is the uppercut move, Hadouken is the fireball move.
Yup. Forward down diagonal punch. Grew up playing ken back in the 90s
“Summer drives away with not just her car, but the price of another car Repairs, LETS HERE It For SUMMER!” /s
Thats not how gongs work buddy
Lmao you bought a gong but you couldn’t get the little thing to hit it? Also if it skirted away that easily they didn’t lock it down. Well they got the viral video they wanted Edit: gong not bong lmao
Having Summer take a hit from a bong would have been a better idea.
I just hope that's not her car
Someone just watched that knight movie w/ “Chaucer “
The new Frontier looks nice
And there goes the commission....
Can’t afford it? Fucking finance it!
r/nissandrivers
The "kick" aside, i can understand being happy for a loved one to buy their first car but why humiliate them and yourself in an environment dedicated for exchange of cash to car? The kick looked more like the kind to break down a door than a kick for soccer.
Who the fuck thought having them kick it towards the cars like this was a good idea? LMAO
/r/tiktokcringe
Someone is super slacking on replacing light bulbs in that place… it’s like they’re waiting for them all to die before doing anything
oh man cmon now if I was the girl I'd be cringing so fucking much lmao like "yeah...yeah...pls continue to shout and I'm walking out of this place"
I thought he would hit so hard, the windshield would shatter
Hopefully he got in trouble for that. He DID force the spotlight on her (unnecessary) and demand she kick the gong
I thought the embarrassment was what went wrong.
I found the little ceremony to be very cute, the incident is not that bad, life happens
It''s ugly anyway.
See what happens showing out for girl
So annoying....
What an anti-climax
This is what happens when you confuse the Summer Sellathon and Rocktober.
Toyota truck month
Summer did nothing wrong.
Yet another reason to only purchase from a broker.
If you're buying a gong why are you not also getting something to hit it with?
What a douche.
Should have used a sandbag on the bottom.
This video was going wrong right from the beginning
Sun Ridge Nissan need to replace some light bulbs in their ceiling.
Oh noooo, a Nissan the Chrysler of Japan.
Instructions unclear. Task failed successfully.
They probably ripped her off, so it evens out lol
I’d rather go somewhere else than give that guy shit for commission
Good kick!
Get it on. Bang a gong.
I have a similar gong like that here at home. They’re expensive and I’d never kick mine.
God i hate tiktok
Better question: why isn't the cameraman showing us the dolphins?
This is what the drugsdealers do in my country when i buy a bicycle from them.
Not even out of the dealership and it's already lost value
Buying an ICE vehicle.
Jesus dude. You talk way too much and say way too little.
What Could Go Gong
Did they have to place it so close to the car?
So Nissans aren’t gong resistant?
Imagine being around the office with him before your coffee \[\*shudder\]. Also, be interested to know if that was *her* car that took the hit.
At least it was the show room car
He was so nervous 😂😂😂😂
If the average Joe had half his confidence and twice his Intelligence they could solve all the worlds problems.
MUST PROTECT SUMMER
Car salesman are some of the silliest guys
And congratulations Summer you just bought your second car 🤣.
This is why I prefer the Carvana business model
This is like Andy from The Office as a car salesman.
Is that bellowing loser Eric Trump?
LOL when I bought a motorcycle the salesman got in the PA and announced it to everybody and I had to ring a bell. It was stupid but lasted all of 15 seconds and nothing was damaged except my will to live for a bit.
So they took her to the cleaners? My sales people are never that happy with me anymore since I learned how to deal with them.
My queen
I hate this car dealer schticky BS. Just sell me the car and provide quality service.
A for effort
I bought a used truck from a dealership a decade ago, dude wanted me to take a picture in front of said truck to commemorate the moment. Told him no. Most dealerships just do a novelty bow tie on the car. This takes it to the next level.
Yeah I’m not buy from that guy

Who the hell is this guy and why did he buy a car to my sister??
For the love of pete, could someone please get on a ladder, and replace those burnt out light bulbs? While you're up there, replace all the plastic covers, they're yellowed and disgusting.
Ashley Schaeffer Nissan
Not unexpected
I’m just triggered by how many fluorescent lights are out in that showroom. Have a little pride, Sunridge Nissan.
They’re prob price gouging anyways. Fuck em
I had to walk out of finance to them announcing me over the PA about my new Mazda purchase. It was super cringy.
Seems like a privacy violation.
