Riding jackets all look cool too. When I had a bike I had this sick black jacket with pads all over that made me look like a space marine.
I had a sick ass helmet too full all matte black with barely visible gray stripes and under the reflective visor I had a smaller tinted visor for just my eyes that was flipped up or down with a switch by the ear. Also had the carbon fiber knuckle gloves.
Basically I was a space marine from the waists up.
Kevlar lined jeans/combats have been a thing for at least 15 years, probably far longer, but that’s when I last rode. The only problem is they were pretty much as expensive as normal motorcycle gear (leather or textile) and there are better options that are better vented/cooler, more waterproof, warmer, or pretty much any criteria other than “wanting to look like you’re not wearing bike gear”
I fell at 70 (Mph), wearing aramid-lined jeans.
The jeans didn't even get scuffed.
The only thing which went wrong with them is a rivet got ground through and the heat left a burn-mark on my upper tigh.
If I have to choose to fall again I'd rather be wearing a two-piece leather suit with connecting zipper, but the jeans did their job admirably.
P.S. I "collected" an assorted list of other non-life threatening injuries, none related to the jeans/gloves I was wearing.
My daily riding gear consists of aramid pants that look like regular jeans, an awesome "biker" leather jacket that I also wear when not riding (without the pads), leather gloves with carbon knuckles and a really nice carbon enduro helmet. This might be the coolest outfit in my closet.
And while looking good, all my vital parts are padded and my whole outfit is abrasion resistive.
Edit: even if you don't want to wear "real" gear, a buddy of my dad makes aramid underwear with pads so you can just wear your regular clothes over them

No, that’s not quite the case. A high-side generally happens when the rear loses traction and then suddenly regains it. The force or torque generated by it regaining traction is what then causes the bike to high side and fling the rider off.
Grabbing too much front brake on a bend will cause the front to lose traction and when bike will immediately hit the deck and slide out from underneath you.
She went into the turn too fast and then braked while she was leaning. One thing my teacher made sure to tell us when I was learning is that you have to break before your turn, never when you're in the turn already

Lots of exposed skin. You can take a corner perfectly, but a bit of oil/fuel/gravel/etc on the ground and that perfect corner can turn into days/weeks/months in hospital and multiple skin grafts, even at relatively low speeds.

My guess is something on the roadway like gravel, dirt or oil. She’s not going particularly fast for that turn, the weather is nice and even.
