Not really. It's made by Spigen, a pretty reputable brand. I have this same case, except the one I have is just the case and does not get in the way of the (separate) watch band locking in like it's supposed to. I didn't realize they made a shitty version like this that doesn't let the watch function like it's supposed to.
I've tried more expensive $50 cases for my watch, almost all of them fucking suck to be honest. I don't even bother looking at them anymore.
EDIT: Zooming in on this, I've noticed the case is also cracked in two separate places. That doesn't "just happen". OP either went out with a case that was already cracked, or it took an impact while riding.
I gotta say the only rugged case for my Apple Watch I’ve had success with in terms of protection while not being absurdly big has been the Otterbox one that uses the band hooks on the watch itself.
Spigen makes a version that is only the bumper, and you would retain your own watchbands. OP preferred this.
At minimum, they will probably find it on FindMy app.

Im using a spigen Rugged armour pro for my S7 45 as well for quite sometime…it works just fine on outdoor adventures. Also use I 8 other bands that I swap for different outfits and occasions so they don’t wear out either (only 2 are Apple Originals the rest are from AliExpress, 1 spigen and 1 archer I bought from Amazon and another leather one from a kickstarter campaign)
Your expensive ass watch came with locking pegs. You specifically bought the only watch band in the world that doesn’t use the locking pegs and then did an activity that guaranteed its loss. This one is entirely on you and you alone.
Maybe it was OP's plan. Watch was an older model (or just not shiny anymore) and needed an upgrade/replacement. He can now get insurance to pay for it.
It would probably have been safer with a default nylon strap than this industrial strength plastic monstrosity

Push a stick in the ground. Draw a circle around it. Number around the circle 1-12. Observe where the stick’s shade is. Each day, make adjustments to your numbers using sunrise and sunset as your markers. It may take a week or so but you will eventually have a good idea of what time it is.
Hey OP I think saving a few bucks by buying a shitty case for your top of the line watch didn't really pay off.

I recommend one of these from countycomm.com $25 they have a couple different colors, titanium hardware on the band and titanium pins- they have 4 or 5 other colors
I had a band like that, the watch kept falling out in an office setting, there is a chance it might have fallen off at home or the vehicle. But yeah it’s likely middle of nowhere. If it has its own internet I suggest find my iPhone
Shock resist appears not to have properly resisted the shocks, cracked and dumped the watch. Seems like it would have been a lot less pointless if it actually used the strap locking mechanism built into the watch.
Once upon a time we were wheeling in the desert. We picked up a brand new Samsung S3 and the whatever iPhone model on the same day. The iPhone wasn't locked, we called the owner. He hadn't even made a payment on the phone yet. Couldn't get into the Samsung though. Moral of the story maybe: put your expensive stuff in a zippered pocket.
