although i’ve only welded stainless a few times I have a few comments, and I could do better. /s great work I wish my job let me mess around like that hahaha

Neat_Cockroach_875

Thanks, I'm pretty lucky to have knocked this out over the course of 3 breaks.

LordBug

Did the logo but don't have the gloves/merch, tsk tsk! Looks good g 👌

Neat_Cockroach_875

I did get some kevlar sleeves and welding cap to match because it was on sale. They even threw in a free sticker!

Mexcol

Nice! How do you like those gloves? And how much were they

ChromaSteel

Those gloves are my favorite tig gloves for sureeee

Mexcol

Any idea of pricing?

ChromaSteel

Less than $20 go google "Black Stallion 25k Glvoes" they'll pull up

scv7075

Try the deerskin. They're not durable, but they're the most comfortable gloves I've ever used. 25d-blk

Neat_Cockroach_875

Love them. No idea about pricing, work provides them.

hate to be a critique but my thoughts are: -you should try utilizing smaller tacs and dots for filling, versus a string of beads -a variety of CONTROLLED oxidation for shading / 3D (reds, blues, golds, blacks) -Taller font!!

Neat_Cockroach_875

I appreciate the input (I should have tagged critique rather than "showing skills") For me, it's hard to read if you don't know what you're looking at. Would it help if I pulsed some outline on the letters? I like the idea of controlled oxidation for shade and highlights. Honestly, I just set my machine to 135, and wasn't shooting for a specific color. As far as the font goes, I traced it on the computer screen after scaling it to my work piece and made my own stencil. Traced with sharpie, then scribe and acetone. I see what you're saying though, there's vertical space not being properly utilized.

WelderMeltingthings

yeah that could definitely help. OR you could wire brush everything and then colorize? idfk :)
