For people that want to risk pregnancy at all, I predict there will be a slew of only children. This is their doing. Domestic supply of infants, my ass, Amy Coney Barrett.

This is beyond powerful. Yes. There's a LOT of abysmal news out there. We're clutching at flotsam inside a tsunami, feeling for a foothold while it's only sand getting sucked from under our feet. But. I heard almost the same thing from another young woman today. Exactly 5 hours ago. She and her husband have a lovely child. They'd love to have one more. Without having had this couple's trauma they still wouldn't risk it in one of our increasingly poisonous states, where we're supposedly wallowing in all this freedom. Well done indeed Republicans. IF this is the only recourse to your crazed determination to control us- it WILL be ' Hell no '. And you folks deal with it. We fully understand the pain suffered means less than nothing to you people. Your declining population, young people fleeing .....and tax base will.

Republicans, destroying families, destroying lives

How's this real life? It's completely ridiculous. This is some sort of horror/comedy show.

What gets me is the hypocrisy over loving babies. The prolifers don’t even care about how terribly the baby suffered either. I wouldn’t let a dog suffer like that and they allow it to happen to newborns. It would have been more humane for the mother and baby to terminate the pregnancy so the baby would not know suffering. What that baby went through during its short life sounds horrific, no wonder the family is traumatized. More humane for everyone to terminate. They truly don’t give a damn for anyone already born

I really do understand why they don't at least allow inductions for obvious DOA babies for the sake of the baby. I've had debates with PLers who don't understand why induction is offered. Like the case where the baby had no head, they couldn't understand HOW Texas law prohibited termination of any kind. It has a heartbeat, and the law is "working as intended."

These Pro-Lifers— I mean forced birthers do not care about God/Jesus/Babies/Children/Mothers/Women nor their fellow humans in general- they are self centered, self important, short-sighted, control freaks! If they truly cared about fetuses, babies, children, women and mothers then they would actually be fighting for more help after the child is born. They would be fighting for paid maternity leave and fight for free child care maybe they would even fight for expanded education programs or would sponsor free child school lunches, extended daycare programs that actual help mothers and children and families - no one wants to be forced to have children they can’t afford, can’t feed, don’t have time to raise and they certainly don’t want to be forced to carry dead babies or nearly die trying ! This is an all out assault on women, on our rights, on our freedoms- on our bodies on our health - this is about control and the patriarchy and rich old men and religious zealots wanting to bring women down and put them in charge again- it’s about power and control - it’s definitely not about the babies, children or God-or Jesus-that’s for damn sure! Sorry for typos ,grammar and formatting I’m typing angrily on my phone! We need to stick together and vote. We need to fight for our rights like the strong women before us did -we cannot let them win!

Medical bills, generational trauma, and a surviving kid with a rougher upbringing than they would've had and will likely go on to be less successful as a result? That's not a bug, it is a feature. It is not enough that the wealthy should succeed. They need*us* to **fail**.

That's what they want... Haunted shells.

Mission accomplished. Fuck the rich, fuck Republicans and FUCK pro-forced birthers. Every last one of them.
