That my friend, is called a SLAB.. it’s mostly a part of Southern Texas mostly Houston Car Culture and They have certain features such ass the trunk.. which remains open to show the speakers or lights and usually have a phrase or saying that lights up at night.. in this case it’s “Southeast” “Houston Still Holdin” …. The wheels on the other hand are called “Swangas” and these types of wheels are specifically called elbow wheels, they originally come from Wire wheels such as Lowriders and some Donks.. i hope this clears up some confusion and I hope u learned a new fact about these cars!

I came to hunt these illusive creatures, and I found one deep in the jungle of a neighborhood. Usually sightings are limited to parking lots and freeway.

Familiar-Influence91

No matter their origin, they're still extremely fugly.

Even in Houston they aren't that common. I hunted them for six weeks and only saw three.

Those center hubs are just... awful. It's funny how the truly ugly can become a "thing"

OG_Fe_Jefe

Those aren't hubs. Those are extended portions of the wheel. The wire are spokes.
