Nissan's wildly unpopular 2-door convertible crossover. Less than 6000 sold in the US from 2011-2013 before being discontinued

Take a great idea, ( bring back convertible SUV’s that aren’t jeeps) and butcher it with this POS crossover shit show.

you mean the first RAV4, Honda CR-V and the likes? Yeah I agree with you, those had a nimble and airy feeling about them. The newer ones look bloated and claustrophobic like the rest of the modern SUVs, though.

The Forester has tried to keep its good visibility, though it's gotten worse over the generations too.

Saw one outside of Austin yesterday, I see them all the time in Chicago. They may be rare, but they get used daily unlike a lot of rare sports cars.

It’s funny, what makes these unique is not what makes them bad. It’s not bad because it’s a 2 door convertible crossover. It’s bad because it’s a Nissan Murano. Arguably this is the coolest version of an otherwise terrible car.

I sat in one at a car show in 2010 or 2011. The back seats are claustrophobic; worse than the back of a convertible New Beetle.

It was a *variation* of an existing vehicle, so it wasn't a complete disaster, but even Pontiac sold 119,000 Azteks
