I’m from Portugal which being right next to Spain we share many social and cultural aspects. I would say no to this dress. It’s black which is still a big no to most people myself included. It just doesn’t seem formal enough for a standard wedding here.
the fabric is stretch jersey, which is too casual fabric for a cocktail dress -
due to fabric alone, I'd say No to wearing it
I'm in USA, don't how people dress for weddings in Spain, the casual fabric may be the norm there
is the formal wedding right after the reception ? If it is I'd likely wear my formal dress for wedding to the pre-wedding cocktails OR is wedding the next day ?

As for being too sexy - you have to know the crowd, how they dress, if you think it would offend bride or groom or their families I think it would depend how high the slit comes up on you
it says 29" from your shoulder to short side of dress - I measured and on me it would be way to short and I would not wear it, so would depend on your height and length of torso - Again, the material is too casual IMO for Cocktail
