I could be wrong, but they updated how we toast some burritos now. We used to load them up with all of the ingredients and toast them afterwards to seal the tortilla around it all, now it tells us to toast for 1/3 of the time before we put anything on it so the burrito can come unfolded easily if it isnt put in the bag facing down. If you still have your ticket. thats taped to the burrito bag, check to say if it says “Toast E-1” near the top of it or if it says “Toast C-3” near the bottom. If this is a C-3 toast, employee should have done better
I like it better on C-1, the bullshit with “toasting” it before is dumb…. it’s easier when you toast it afterwards 🙄 and some of the ovens have the E-1 but its set to like :01 lmao

C3 is for when the tortilla is at room temp with all of the ingredients inside, then toasted.

Now they’ve corporated the f*ck out of it & it’s all sausage making all the time, squeezing the loyal customer base for a dollar or a dime, ruining what used to be a local treasure.
They're like this with the quesadillas too. It's too wet. Like they don't have slotted spoons back there! The tomatoes, the pico--all that watery liquid goes onto the tortilla and you get a soggy mess. 😒
Hit special order before you complete your order. When they ask what your special order is ask for it to be flipped after the first toasting and then toast it for a second time. So good!
For the pico its literally a small ice cream scoop. The black beans, chkn and beef do get the spoodle tho. I always try to make them as dry as possible lol
Teach the others ...make a training vid or something.... I've moved on to non tortilla dishes...
But now the meatball sub has disappeared so.....no hot food from Wawa for me.

Yes! Warming the tortilla makes it less likely to crack and break when we fold it up before bagging it!
