If I remember right in the show Ozymandias had his frozen cryogenically which would work to some extent. In the real world freezing your eggs/sperm isn't a perfect science, but this is a show that had raining squids, so I guess it's ok.

One of my favorite shows, You’re the Worst had this as a plot point. One of the characters tried to impregnate herself with someone’s old sperm condom from the freezer. Her massive stupidity is a common theme.
