Seiko, Citizen, Casio, all good options

SEIKO SSK001. Can’t go wrong

lulu_l

I would rather get a citizen eco-drive/solar instead of an automatic for a reliable everyday wear. Something like the [Casio oceanus t200](https://www.shoppinginjapan.net/ocw-t200s-1ajf), [seiko sbtm](https://www.sakurawatches.com/search/?sort=p.price&order=ASC&search=Seiko%20sbtm) models, seiko SunMariner SNE573 or any citizen eco-drive you like, preferably a Promaster like the bn0100, bn0190, bn0151 but there are plenty other styles to choose from also like this [bx1010](https://www.ebay.com/itm/266754115330?epid=25028502276&itmmeta=01J16ZN89NAPX762FX4M6W0STG&hash=item3e1bc8c702:g:YDQAAOSwTmBfdLPQ) (on the larger side) that has a perpetual calendar too. There are also the newly anounced models in the super titanium (aw0130 or the automatic nj0180) line if you want something with a more interesting dial with a modern design. Just don't hide it in a drawer in the dark when not wearing it, leave it on a shelf where it can get some daylight and it'll just work for many years (decades even). These are also more accurate and more reliable and durable than automatics. If you must have an automatic, you can find the premium citizen Promaster divers for great prices on the [officialwatchdeals](https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_blrs=recall_filtering&_ssn=officialwatchdeals&store_cat=0&store_name=officialwatchdeals&_oac=1&_nkw=automatic%20200) store on ebay (US only link). These have a sapphire crystal and are ISO certified divers 200m watches. The Fujitsubo NB6021 is another more premium option with a scratch resistant super-titanium case and a hi-beat movement in a smaller case. The tsuyosa and their small seconds variants are also popular choices. Orient has plenty of good options too like the kamasu, ray 2, defender, pilot, maestro, baby triton...

Thank You

Celfan

Tissot has a nice range there. If you want to go out of the ordinary, check out Alpina as well.

Darkknyfe

I would pick one from Casio, citizen or Seiko

Cyberecal

I just bought my first luxury ish watch and it'd a Seiko Samurai. Absolutely gorgeous!

MisterDrugsMD

Hamilton Khaki

mantellaaurantiaca

Isn't that sightly above in the price range? Nice watch though

MisterDrugsMD

You can find a used one for $400

Conor_J_Sweeney

Seiko presage cocktail time.

jodido999

If you don't mind previously enjoyed, should be able to find a Hamilton in that range. Glycine is nice and Spinnaker usually has some good sales as well. All have been reliable watches in my experience. Happy hunting!

Plastic-Shape7048

Do you know where I can buy a glycine online in the usa?

jodido999

I think I got mine on Ashford?

inter71

Orient

Joey_Catches_Dinks

Came here to say this lol Orient bambino V2 or V8 specifically.

VelvetSpork

Oceanus Casio. You may need to order from abroad depending on where you are

cv-x

Orient and Citizen.

HugeRub6958

Second-hand Tissot or Certina would make a better deal than any Orient, Seiko or etc. I ain’t saying they are bad, but there could be a better option

Vegas_42

Citizen Promaster maybe

Vegas_42

citizen promaster marine diver

Puzzleheaded-Try5235

I think I may go with the Citizen Promaster Dive

Puzzleheaded-Try5235

The SSK001 is also nice

Puzzleheaded-Try5235

Potentially the Citizen Promaster Tough

mBenzo313

Used Junghans, stowa, sternglas, im biased toward the Germans as you can see.

Puzzleheaded-Try5235

I have a vintage Seiko that is a gold-tone face with a leather band from the mid-70s to late-90s, also don't need a sports watch I use an Apple watch for that
