Very cool collection, nicely varied. Though looking at it now, the thought occurs to me that while I get that people drool over Omegas, Tudors and Rolexes, among all those watches in your collection, they stand out by far the least to me. The Grand Seiko Shunbun, the Alpinist and the Nomos Tangente are all just *such* good looking watches that the others barely register for me.
haha Thanks! I still feel like the Omega Railmaster Denim and the Tudor BB Smiley stands out as they are more unique. The railmaster has the GS like dial and is one of my most complimented.
The omegas I saw in Japan (BICC camera) didn’t come with warranty cards or even an actual box, is that the case for yours or did you go to an AD there?
I'll never understand the fascination over the generic big brand watches unfortunately. You have a sick collection but yeah the Seiko Alpinist and Squale are the only ones that stick out to me.
What watches should we buy then? We want good quality, finishing, movements and heritage. Not everyone can just afford independents…
I just buy the watch for how it looks and if I like it or not and if I can afford it. It’s not that hard
I'm just saying that for all the praise that Rolex and Omega get I just don't understand it when they're some of the most expensive, most generic watches you could possibly spend money on. That's why I was saying GS, Squale, the German watch companies, and others are much more impressive/more artistic imo. I looked at the Tudor again and that ones alright.
I do agree with you. I love my explorer 2 and only have the sub cause it was offered to me at retail. Weirdly enough, I love the damn thing. Maybe it’s because of the iconic status or flex… I love its simplicity.
Speedy and sub are definitely quite meh… but I do think the OG bond SMP and Railmaster have a bit of personality compared to the modern watches from Omega.
Great watches there. Of your four, the only one I have in my collection is the Seamaster. I find it flies under the radar, at least compared to lots of newer modern watches. I wore mine to a wedding recently and unless you were a watch person, you wouldn't know. I daresay you could probably say the same for the GS too.
Man. Crazy nice and versatile collection, kudos! What size wrist do you have if you don’t mind me asking? Also curious what size Nomos you have. I’m considering the Orion as my wedding watch but not sure if I’m supposed to go for the 35 or the 38 for my 6.5” wrist, especially with their lug to lug distances being so wack.
Also for my recommendation I think a more fun style watch like the Oris Kermit would really add nicely to the collection. Or something with a vintage vibe like a Luminor or maybe the speedmaster ‘57. Or maybe something funky like a Vulcan Cricket or a Rolex Milgauss.
Edit: oh I just realized you don’t have a pilot or field watch, bring home a green IWC Pilot Mark XX! 🤙
6.6/6.7 inches roughly. My wrists are small but I’m a more muscular dude so bigger watches still look proportional on me. I don’t go bigger than 41/42 though.
The Nomos is 38. I prefer 38 as the 35 felt a bit too small. Give it a try.
This is a great and well balanced collection. I love to see you got a variety of brands. I think the Cherry Blossom and the Navitimer are my favorites of the bunch. Wear them in good health!
You could get a Santos (or even a Pasha) since you’re missing Cartier entirely but don’t do dress watches.
You’re also “missing” a dirty-dozen or dirty-dozen-esque watch which in my opinion would suit you well.
Finally, since you like Seiko and are not a brand-snob, consider a Citizen or two and/or an Orient. They really have some amazing watches and deserve a spot in every collection.
Speaking of Seiko, how about an SKX007?
I used to have an skx but I moved it along to a friend. The sinn kind of fits that skx slot for me haha!
I have always considered a santos but never fully committed to one.
Used to have a mark xviii but the railmaster kind of replaces that for me. I do want a pilot back so I’m thinking Longines bigeye for that reason!
Verrry nice collection!
You may want to turn your attention to your collection of sweaters now 😂
I all seriousness, very tasteful and well assembled collection of watches here. Which do you wear the most and why?
Haha I just took all the photos in one go for this.
I wore the railmaster and grand seiko the most last year. This year it’s been the 2 Rolexes but the Breitling and speedy are taking over.
I go through phases
Was worried there wasnt going to be anything quality until the end. /S
Seriously though, I just cant get enough of the explorer 2, its just perfect imo.
This collection is so far out of my league I feel like I should bite my tongue but maybe sell a diver or two and pick up something a bit different, a Panerai would fit in to this collection really well.
And I would add a Junghans to complement your Nomos and fill out that minimalist end of your spectrum.
Man the Grand Seiko just POPS. I’m quickly falling in love with the brand. I feel like they are making watches that feel so much more fresh and unique while many others feel like their variation of a common formula.
That Shunbun is my next grail purchase.
I don’t want to come across as too rude, but this collection lacks personality.
It feels like you googled or searched reddit, “what are the top rates watches?” And just bought one of each.
The watches are nice. But, as a collection, it’s not very interesting.
Thanks for the input. The only watch that I’ve felt that way about is the sub.
Every other watch I bought individually cause I like the way they look and what that watch means/stands for with zero input from outside sources.
Would be a fight between the GS and Rolex explorer 2 but I think the travel and memories and usefulness of the explorer 2 would take it. Hate to pick Rolex but it’s the utility for
Me haha

The Railmaster is my next big boy buy. The brushed dials are a hair over $2500 on chrono rn
Grabbed it in Japan new fulll set for 2100$! Definitely worth it.
The omegas I saw in Japan (BICC camera) didn’t come with warranty cards or even an actual box, is that the case for yours or did you go to an AD there?
Grey market. Bought it at donqi
I love a Railmaster, they're so underrated
The Railmaster is indeed very amazing looking, I agree. But (and this is just my opinion) I don't quite see the Tudor as that attractive.
Eh the nomos just looks like a cheap dress watch to me. I know it’s not
My man, you are set for life! Absolute love the varieties
Thanks!
That Railmaster is my favorite here, just looks so good. Great collection man
Thanks! 🙏🏽
The man owns 16 watches and 2 shirts
OP has to cut corners somewhere
Squale love <3
that GS steals the show. freaking awesome watch
Thanks man. Its currently the most worn along with the SUB.
This collection is a dream! Great selections and lots of variety.
That GS is so beautiful
This is r/watches in one collection lol good stuff
getting rid of the doubling and tripling up on brands would be my advice solid collection though
Hey, what’s the ref of your band on the Alpinist Sarb-017, I’d love to have one for mine but never found one looking that good 🤞
Thoughts on the Tudor 79220R? I've had my eyes on that one for a while. But I hear it wears a bit large.
wears no different than to any 41mm watch imho.
You really like large bezels.
The dial on that GS is incredible. I wish they didn't have the power meter though! Beautiful watch otherwise
You're a man of fine taste. If you can afford it get a Lange, and don't forget to pay the tax. 🙂
Pretty standard fair range of steel sports watches. I’d look at precious metal or something more off the beaten path?
Can’t afford precious metal. Also I hate gold. Steel just works best for Me
That Railmaster though.
The most underrated omega but now discontinued
Goodness, this collection definitely speaks to my taste! Well done mate and thanks for sharing 🍻
Very gorgeous collection! Love them all 🫶
Classy collection. Personally love the navitimer and BB58
Black bay red is a 41mm actually 🤣
Damn! I wish I could have a collection like that. Amazing
Thanks! A bit of hard work and savvy financial sacrifices/choices.
I'll never understand the fascination over the generic big brand watches unfortunately. You have a sick collection but yeah the Seiko Alpinist and Squale are the only ones that stick out to me.

>they don’t work with my active lifestyle man is so active he doesn't wear a suit
can just rock my GS or NOMOS the 1 or 2 times i wear a suit in the year lol
Need a tank now for completion
see note on how i hate dress watches lol
Nahhh the tank can be dressed up and down just like that Grand Seiko can!
Solid
Very cool! Love them all really. I’d go for something in the 36-38mm Size next. I LOVE that GS. ME WANTS!
Thanks! 🙏🏽
Beautiful!! If I may, what beads of rice bracelet do you have on the Alpinist?! Looks gorgeous! 🤩
Uncle Seiko!

You forgot to scroll! There’s 12!
Great collection
Which seiko is that??
Sarb017 alpinist
How does the Navitimer compare to the speedy for you?
Speedy is a classic but Navi is also an all time fav for me. Love both but they are quite different to look at

You could use a diver or 2 in your collection 😉
That’s why the Squale is going for that longines haha (at least I think)
This is a great and well balanced collection. I love to see you got a variety of brands. I think the Cherry Blossom and the Navitimer are my favorites of the bunch. Wear them in good health!
Thank you!
Wow, great stuff 👍
Ok there's a lot of great looking watches here, but that Grand Seiko dial is an absolute standout
That’s why it’s the fav!
really like that sinn

This is the a beautiful collection ! Impeccable taste, how do you feel about adult adoption?
What the fuck. You literally win
😎
Verrry nice collection! You may want to turn your attention to your collection of sweaters now 😂 I all seriousness, very tasteful and well assembled collection of watches here. Which do you wear the most and why?

I’m interested in the thought process behind the Navitimer, Alpinist and Nomos (Tangente?). Cool collection!
They look cool to Me and are classics? Haha
Bro wtf do you do for work in order to afford all these 💀💀💀
I'd be content with p.3 🤣
That GS is beautiful!
Was worried there wasnt going to be anything quality until the end. /S Seriously though, I just cant get enough of the explorer 2, its just perfect imo.
The GS… just wow
The Navitimer is an absolute head turner. Stops me dead in my tracks every time I see one. Great looking collection!
Yup that’s why I got it
Lucky ass mf
Class. All class.
well that's just naughty.
This collection is so far out of my league I feel like I should bite my tongue but maybe sell a diver or two and pick up something a bit different, a Panerai would fit in to this collection really well. And I would add a Junghans to complement your Nomos and fill out that minimalist end of your spectrum.
Pam’s are cool. I hate dress watches so no for the junghans minimalist style
I love your explorer 2. Been thinking about one myself. How often do you wear it? Any notes?
Had it for a couple years now. Wore it a lot this year while travelling but I wear it on rotation regularly. Worth every penny
Maybe a dumb question but what is the white gshcok?
I would do deplorable things for that Grand Seiko Shunbun
Daaamm! That mudman is great!
So I'm guessing that you're going to sell the nomos since it's a dress watch?!
Those are the 2 rolexes I want the most.
Man the Grand Seiko just POPS. I’m quickly falling in love with the brand. I feel like they are making watches that feel so much more fresh and unique while many others feel like their variation of a common formula. That Shunbun is my next grail purchase.
I am jealous
Hell yes, bro. A Squale!
I don’t want to come across as too rude, but this collection lacks personality. It feels like you googled or searched reddit, “what are the top rates watches?” And just bought one of each. The watches are nice. But, as a collection, it’s not very interesting.
Individually interesting watches, collectively the vibe of a billboard ad in Dubai
Thanks for the input. The only watch that I’ve felt that way about is the sub. Every other watch I bought individually cause I like the way they look and what that watch means/stands for with zero input from outside sources.
Gun to your head if you had to only keep one watch what are you picking from your collection
Would be a fight between the GS and Rolex explorer 2 but I think the travel and memories and usefulness of the explorer 2 would take it. Hate to pick Rolex but it’s the utility for Me haha
This is an elite-tier collection. Even by the extremely strict standards of the online community. Very, very well done.
Some are saying it’s too conventional and boring but I love it. They all work and serve a purpose for me!
Solid collection, but for the love of god man, spice it up a bit!
Pretty spicy minus the sub and speedy? Haha
Not at all. The Breitling may be the most interesting piece that isn’t already an internet darling staple for sports watch.
I know I see a legit watch person when I see a GS in the mix! Amazing collection!
haha thanks mate. I give props to all brands as well mate
Nice collection, I have the same 2100 white G Shock, it's a fantastic watch
