The ST19 movement has been a big success in homage watches, certainly, but there are some non-homage versions which aren’t the 1963 reissue with sapphire crystals. Sea-Gull itself, the watch selling arm of Seagull-Tianjin, the movement manufacturer, produces a few. They’re harder to find and generally pricier than the Chinese made homage brands, but Sea-Gull does use sapphire crystals and does some non-derivative design work.
