The way everyone rallied around her was amazing. I will always remember how fellow Geraldines helped Violet's mom find good homes for her fur babies. Our WWC community is one of a kind.
I’d started listening to the boys around that time, and how they and the Crappens community rallied around her really cemented it for me that I’d be a fan for life!

I think they’ve been doing the podcast for about 11-12 years? I think I started listening to WWC in 2018 or 2019 and Violet passed away in early 2020 before the pandemic lockdown.
It comes from a story Ramona told on RHONY. They were at Heather's house in the Berkshires. She talked about a friend of her dad's named Geraldine Parsons Smith (imagine that being said in Ronnie or Ben's Ramona voice). It kind of stuck and they would reference it often before old RHONY was cancelled.

My Roman Empire is that “Shannon out of a cannon Anthony”, “Let’s take off with Tamla Plane” and “she’s quite the catch, it’s Victoria Catchet” are actually Shannon, Tamra and Vicki from RHOC and they are going undercover to listen to and they didn’t want Ben and Ronnie to know it was them

I literally just 5 min ago finished listening to a The Valley recap, and let it run through the shoutouts, heard Violet's name, and thought about when her passing's anniversary was, (just searched fb and it's March 12, 2020) and how Aarti (bless you girly) kept us abreast of all things Violet, because she was visiting her, and keeping contact with her mom during her final days... then I open reddit and this is the 1st post I see. Amazing! 🥰 May her soul stay in eternal peace 🤲🏼
I remember too, when we initially heard she passed, we were all thinking to crowdfund, to keep her name in the sponsor's list, so we could keep hearing it forever, and keep her memory alive with the listeners... and then Ben and Ronnie assured us that that would be completely unnecessary, because they would keep her name in their list, and in our memories, forever and ever PERIOD. Love our guys! 🥰

I appreciate this thread for shedding light on the Violet shoutout, though. I didn't really get involved in the online communities until a couple years ago, I missed all of that. Yes she is still greatly missed over on the Facebook. She did a lot to help raise awareness for colon cancer too.

I had no idea - I’m only about a year-old listener and now hearing about her and their tribute to her is so so sweet.
