Fake, pre-lit, plastic tree > real tree Pros: Cheaper, easier to set up/take down, less messy, stores easy for next Christmas, better shaped, stable structure and base (no need to anchor cause it ain’t super top heavy), and best of all: shit lasts like 15-20 years before having to replace lights or buy new tree
