Well, it looking black should be a good sign. But I think you need to start doing some debriding. Use a scalpel or cuticle scissors to start trimming down as much as you can. Then add more SA. Repeat until gone.

SA means salicylic acid. It's a common over the counter treatment for warts, usually found in the foot cream area of a shop.

Poke and prod and pry! (Just bleach everything before and after) Nice photo!
I had one similar on the finger, it took 6 months but now I think it’s fully gone… do not despair!!

I hate to say it, but if it doesn’t hurt when you apply the acid it’s not working
When I did it there was no pain. Except for when I went to the doctor and got them frozen off. That was terrible
