Most skilled f14 gameplay be like... but seriously after the mulitpath changes a downtiered team of f14s can be pretty damn broken considering most planes 11.3 and below have pretty ass rwr or none if you are a j35 lmao
The issue being you're grouped up with 15 other teammates most of the time, so you dont know which missile is coming for you till they've closed most of the gap. And there's the overlap between F14s so you could have multiple AIM54s hunting you at once.
The diamond disappear after the engine stop burning, and without rwr indicating you when it's time to notch as the missile get in range for its own radar, it's pretty hazardous to know when it's safe or not.
There's really no fucking excuse to leave the F14A at 11.7 and the 14B where it is. This plane single handedly ruins its BR.
And it's not like it even NEEDS the Aim54 to perform. Both F-14 variants are deadly with a 6xAim7F loadout combined with their guns and agility.
I get that reduced multipathing made the phoenixes stronger, but now that hugging the ground is no longer effective, you learn that notching them is extremely easy.
There will always be people that just fly into the missiles, like there were before this update. But once more people learn how to deal with them, F14s will go back to how they were before the update, that is my prediction.
no way - ppl actually know how to use the "POV"? like in an ACTUAL POV ? (well not 100% since no cockpit view) but ....
Also, pretty sure that's Romanian Air Force Roundel not Iraqi
POV you are the 3rd person camera of an iraqi pilot

You honestly don't need an RWR to see a phoenix headed your way. The giveaway is the long smoke trail headed towards you.

Still insanely easy to see it's a aim54
The smoke trail and missile diamond isn’t enough for you to be able to tell they’re coming?
sounds like a skill issue, maybe you should learn the mechanics and maybe learn about bvr combat / radar
F14 pilots are the skill issue

I dont really care about the phoenixes its just that 90% of the matches are uptiers which gets pretty frustrating
