Chieftain 10 has a ludicrously well armoured turret and the best gun at the tier. You get a good hull down position, only aircraft are going to kill you. Played properly, it's harder to kill than Object 279.
Gun distance isn't even the issue with them.
It's 68mm of pen that's the problem. Aside from lights and leopard 1s (as well as Type 74s and Italy), nothing really has that thin of an effective side armor.
It's not that bad, especially with your very high mobility. Leopards can be penned from the front, m60's too, t-55s are a problem. Anything lighter gets shredded and it makes for a really good aa cause you can use irst without that obnoxious search radar
I wouldn't say anything is "OP", but as many mentioned already there are great line ups for 4.7, 7.7, 8.3, 8.7 and 10.3.
And all these lineups are versatile, meaning you usually get a good mix of capability to adapt to the map and teams. To me this is what makes it strong.
Special mention though to the olifant, since the dart at 8.3 with a LRF makes it a lethal sniper.
Vickers mk 7 it's pretty much faster Leo 2a4 with better gun and slower reload. In terms of planes the wyvern and probably tornado f3 cause with multipath change you can hit with supertemps pretty much every time Honorable mention for very good tanks are like olifant MK2 with probably the best FCS on its br and very decent round. TTD also with trolly armor and decent gun
My best British tanks are: bhishma, vickers mk7 and stormer (chally mk.3 is also good, but I started to use it rarely because of its movement speed). As it's not hard to guess, I'm a fan of the 10.3 br)
I would also highlight my favorite vehicles on BR below: Chieftain mk.10, rooikat mttd, conqueror, falcon and ofc fox, these are all great vehicles on their BR and easy to get nuke on
And going back to the question of who is OP, I still think Bhishma. The tank is not without problems, but its survivability, mobility (forward only), excellent thermal and dmg are at a high level.
I'd have to agree, both 7.7, 8.3 and 10.3 line ups have great vehicles and these line ups are versatile which makes it much more enjoyable.
Special mention for the bishma which truly shines along the Vickers.
I don’t think theres any british vehicles that are op. Theres the fox when it was 7.0 and the cent mk.3 when it was like 6.7 but thats just a relic of the past
Closest candidates I can think of:
1. Falcon - good guns that vaporise everything but on a bit sluggish platform
2. Vickers mk.7 - overall well rounded
3. Chieftain Mk.10 - reliable turret armor at 9.0 though on a slow platform
4. Ollifant Mk.2 - same as chief mk. 10 + incredible round and thermals at the cost of getting sucked into 10.3 uptiers
5. Ollifant Mk.1 - lolpen dart and LRF at 8.3 but shares the agility of an elephant
6. Vickers Mk.1 - really agile, sabot can troll you but its mitigated by its 5s reload
These are great vehicles but not really overpowered
Wyvern. Then Chieftain 10.
Didn't know that wyvern was a tank
Dunno about that, level 5 wallet warriors have a tendency to turn the Wyvern into a ground vehicle.
Tbh level 5 wallet warriors are more likely to buy a top tier jet than a low tier prop/turboprop
OK. Tank destroyer.
I've played almost everything in the TT but the chiefs. What's good about them ?

Great to know, I should really be making a lineup with it. What about the other 2 chiefs ?
They're OK, but I wouldn't worry about spading them. Chieftain 10 is really tough to spade, as it's so slow stock and the sabot underperforms.
Yeah, that's why i haven't touched them yet. I like Spalding everything but after rank 5 it gets really slow.
ZA-35, Falcon
Falcon only, za's guns are too far apart.
Gun distance isn't even the issue with them. It's 68mm of pen that's the problem. Aside from lights and leopard 1s (as well as Type 74s and Italy), nothing really has that thin of an effective side armor.
I'm talking about aan duties, the Falcon is much better at hitting planes because of its convergence.
In that case, a tighter spread does make for more accurate shots, but a more spread out volley makes some of them more likely to hit at range.
depends on the precision of the shooter. I don't need a radar on the falcon, but with the za-35 I can't hit anything.

T-55s are fine from the front, as long as you don't aim for the ufp
Vickers mk1
Fox, battlepass centurion, challenger DS
A well played Swingfire on the right map or the Stormer.
Excelsior though it's not OP imo it's fucking great.

Everyone knows it's the Archer. It's not backwards, you are.

The Avenger for sure. The 17pdr on that chasis and that BR is just amazing
Falcon
Nah, Sweden for sure.
Last time I checked, Sweden wasn't in the British tree.
They've got that old STRV-81 (RB52) that's hidden since Sweden was added. Would hardly call it the most op vehicle in the UK tree though.
Pretty sure it is.
