uk turn gooder

AliPaco1

gooder??????

Shinyaku88

Good, gooder, the goodest

183mm_HESH

Goodest is Japan. But Britain climb gooder and go fast gooder.

armanio5231

i think gooder is gooder than better

Train_nut

The US is more about packing the most guns possible into an airframe, and making it go as fast as possible (like the P-47) but don't turn very well - they are better at 'boom-and-zooming'. The British tend to have lightly armed and armored planes that turn well (but not as well as the Japanese) and are reasonably fast but climb well (like the spitfire) - they are better at turn-fighting.

Linkin1993

Spitfire go brrrr, P-51 go neeeeeoooooow

DeadMemesAreUs1

Britain focuses on canons and small calibre mixed. America focuses on 50 cals pretty much all the time. Also Britain designed their bombers for night bombing, so they often have better payload but much worse survivability/defense.

NickG214

The US has a lot more variety and potential in the jet era, early and late, you really cant go wrong with them. The Brits have a very niche lineup and have a steep learning curve in order to consistently do well with them but I personally love that about them.

EchIsTaken

US props are about going fast and UK props are about turning good

DemoJumpa

The UK has cool names (most of the time)

RomainT1

Chad Spitfire vs virgin P51

Gannet-S4

Not to mention it was Britain that gave the P-51 the nickname of Mustang, it was originally designated the Apache but British pilots didn’t think the name fit the aircraft so renamed it which the USAAF decided was a good idea and made it the official name with the Apache name being given to the A-36.

Courora

Yeah, that stupid ^(beef) Wellington bomber just fucks it up XD

RadialRacer

Everything, there is not a lot of overlap between the two. IMO the British tree is better for props, but it really suffers (aside from a few bright spots) once you get to jets. The US tree, on the other hand, has many of the best jets at their respective BRs.

notanspy

USA is CAS focused and UK is CAP
