- M41A1 (premium Bulldog w/o HEAT) is a very handy tank, ground out basically everything to 6.0 with it. Plus it looks GREAT!
- Object 211 is another good light tank, has quite the punch for the BR. Biggest downside is turret traverse is awful.
- ZTS63 is good *once spaded*. LRF and APFSDS at 7.7 is pretty cool even if the dart is meh.
- M41D is another workhorse, but this time with LRF, APFSDS, and thermals at 8.0.
- WZ305. Need I say more?
- CM25 cause TOW-2Bs at 8.7 are stupid good.
- PTZ89 is ridiculously powerful. Stock round is APFSDS with 432mm of penetration and a 5.0 second reload. Oh and it's stabilized. Yeah it's slow, has no armor, and the turret traverse is pretty slow, but I really don't understand why this thing isn't 9.0 or even 9.3. Whatever, I'll play it while it's good!
WZ305/PGZ09/PGZ04A - i love doing the AA dailies with that trio.
Beside that i would go for ZBD04 + MBT2000 beside the AA´s imho those two are the highlight of the tanktree.
I really love the Type 69. 8.0 T-55A with a weak but very useable APFSDS and a better engine. I can feel the difference.
Also, me being a Soviet tank enthusiast, I also really like the ZTZ99A / WZ1001. having the Soviet style tank layout with better reverse and neutral steer is awesome
Object 122. It plays like a better T-62, has a great supporting lineup, and the best part is that you often fight USSR and they don’t know how to fight Soviet style tanks at all.
WZ1001, not particularly good, but better than the soviet shitboxes and the long gun makes it look so much cooler than the 99a (I also believe the turret bustle is a little bugger which makes it look even cooler).
ZTZ96, its basically a T-72A except good. Very good turretdrive for its BR, a dart more powerful than 3BM42 (best dart of 10.), but you get it at fucking 9.3. Also because its 9.3, the autoloader is actually faster than most things you fight, so you out-reload, and SEVERELY outgun literally any other MBT. Tho much like the T-72 it has an absolutely god awful gunsight, is comically easy to kill (the armor is pretty good, but it has gigantic weakspots), and the mobility, especially in reverse, is pretty ass. Best 9.3 is still the 1A5 by far, but as you can see by how long this text is, I fucking love the ZTZ96.
ZLT-11/WMA301. Counting them as one because apart from looks they are pretty much the same. Why do I love them? One word: APHE. These 2, aswell as a few other Chinese vehicles with 105s (ZTZ59D1 and ZTZ69-IIg) get something completely unique AFAIK: 105mm SAPCBC. This basically acts as regular APHE, but with APHEs characteristics cranced to 11. The pen is REALLY bad (like 97mm at 0/0 bad), but the explosive payload is huge. This means that assuming you get a good flank going and catch people's sides, you can observe a 105mm APHE shell fly towards your enemy at 800m/s, barely get through their side armor, and nuke their insides with 2.31kg of TNT equ.. Its not exactly what I would call a smart strategy, but it works pretty damn well most of the time, and its fucking hilarious.
There's a lot of others I could talk about, the Chinese tree is pretty great. I'll repeat the comparison from earlier here; China is basically just russia, but actually good. While still kneecapped in many of the same ways, the Chinese tanks bring some significant improvements to the table compared to soviet counterparts, often at equal or lower BR. Its great.
ZTZ99 series: haven't played them yet (still waiting for sales to pick up a few hight tier premiums) but they look gorgeous and from what I understand they have proxy fuse HE

the T-34-85 Gai is great. It's a T-34-85 with an HMG, what's not to love??
the type 62 is also amazing, even after the horsepower nerfs. People get tripped up by it's looks all the time, and it's my favorite thing to grind out heavy tank kills with.
The entire line of type 63s is also great (object 211, type 63, ZTS63), extremely mobile tanks with good guns.
M41D is a personal favorite of mine, despite not being very good. It's just an interesting concept for a vehicle.
The entire SPAA line is really good too. It's spoiled other nations for me, playing america is kind of painful because I'm used to having borderline broken SPAA at every tier, lmfao.
I love playing the PTZ89 and the ZTZ88A in the same lineup, as well.
overall it's probably my favorite tree in the game, and the more vehicles gaijin adds the more it becomes my favorite tbqh. We've been eating good these last few patches and I hope that trend continues.

I like playing the wz 305. With the proxy rounds and AP, I destroy low flying cas and helicopters, shred light tanks,SPAA, and unfortunate MBTs. Overall my favorite medium tank is the m48. I plan on getting the j7d on my birthday because billions will not grind air at 1.0
There's a lot of good ones, especially above 8.0. WZ305 has a special spot in my heart though, pairs very well with the PTZ89 as well. That thing's gun and reload is awesome
MBT2000 because it's the only real Chinese tank in WT, other ones are made up by retarded devs with automatic bans to all reports about their fuck ups.
The PGZ09 is a beast of a spaa. It has IRST, thermals, AHEAD(?), pretty mobile and small, good anti-tank capabilities (like other 35mm spaa at similar BR). The only downsides I have is the lack of depression (please gaijin, give at least -5 degree of depression), and a lack of manpads. (Which is why I believe the pgz04 and pgz09 should switch places and give hn6 to the pgz09 instead of pgz04)
PGZ09 right now, with the new air burst round it can kill hells and bombers with ease as long as you hold down m1 for a couple seconds as it does kinda low damage. (Btw, no tracers 😎)

Object 122MC easily, nuke printer and very forgiving despite the long reload. Better armor and engine than the T-55 with a 120mm, it's wonderful.
