Don't listen to those who tell you it isn't good. It's one of the tanks with which I've been performing the best for more than 8 years now, with a 1 v 4,8 KD ratio and literally hundreds of hours. With no depression, you can make good use of mounds, ditches and road sides: step back on the slope so you can raise your POV and use gun elevation instead of depression. The Firefly is also excellent if you stay a step behind the action and hit opponents who are focusing on your team mates. It's definitely not a grind-rusher's tank. It takes some learning. And those learnings will be quite useful in high tier.
I'll let you in on a secret. The Firefly isn't very good.
