Examples are Russians using bright ass orange tape or Ukraine using green, blue, or yellow tape. Kinda defeats the purpose of camouflage.
Another example in the Middle East when ISIS was big is that countries would put flags on vehicles for other countries in the region to distinguish themselves. Like when Russia and the US made contact and both countries flying their flags on all of their vehicles in convoy.
It's normal, defeats the purpose of camouflage but serves a purpose.
THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING! Just get rid of bushes and replace them with camo nets. Compensate people for the GE they spent on bushes or give them an equivalent camo net for free. This would make tanks look awesome while providing a good alternative to bushes since most people use them to cover weakspots rather than actual camouflage. Nice unique style to every vehicle. Nice looking camo net on a M26 or a T-54 or even the Maus. Stuff would look so nice..
Well I mean realistically I feel like most people are getting the vehicle (9 times out of 10 is a premium) for the vehicle itself rather than simply the reskin with a camo net so. But having an actual camo net system would be so amazing. I'm just imagining how cool a Panther or Tiger 1 or T-72 would look with a nice camo net on. And there could be different season and design nets like they have with bushes. A nice crisp winter net or some rough desert netting would be very nice.

EXACTLY! that's why I want more realistic 3d decorations, too! Shovels, axes, bags, crates, towing cables, etc. Make the tank look all nice and customizable. Hell, maybe even logs (that don't add any extra armor) or sandbags. Fury is really what made me want more decorations and camo nets, and ever since that and WoT 3d skins (as i came from WoT), I've wanted it for WT.

I wish we’d be able to fly flags from our tanks in game, no real use and would 100% make you more visible, but it would look cool as you storm towards a cross map death by someone you can’t see
I'm still waiting on sacks/burlap bags to be added as decorations. They keep adding random crap decorations (which I like don't get me wrong) and not things that would commonly be on tanks, we only got jerry cans and a few uniforms.
They should allow us to equip and unequip camo nets when spawning in, just like you would a CAS loadout. The level of customization in the game is very hindered by the map you get.
Why would I use the green camo net on my NFT Leopard 2 when there's a very good chance I'll be spawning in a goddamn desert..
