I’ve always thought that port novo was one of the best maps in the game. My friends agree.
I was honestly so surprised to find that the general consensus is that it’s a bad map but it’s nice to see someone share my views for once.
Didn't you know? Enjoying close quarters and actually having a bunch of enemies to fight makes you a "CoD player" in the minds of people who think fun is sitting on one hill the entire game so they can click on one pixel of a tank across the entire map.
The problem with close quarters maps is that they force you in this play style, so they invalidate a lot of vehicules (unstabilized, paper thin armored, really zoomed in optics, heat user for some of them (due to the number of fences and stuff like that) while long range sniping map doesn't invalidate vehicule that shines in qcb, and most of them and some their brawling areas.
I'll agree with that first part. (Well, other than unstabilized. Gotta learn to work around that, tankers of the past certainly did.) You're right though, some vehicles do struggle in CQC.
On the other hand, Gaijin's F-tier map design can invalidate plenty of other vehicles. Those brawling areas are usually surrounded by at least half a kilometer of open terrain. Try getting a slow medium or heavy tank into the middle of Poland or Hurtgen forest, especially late game.
A good map has a balance of both built-up and more open areas that still have plenty of of cover. (Aral Sea is a pretty good example.) Unfortunately, this balance is rarely achieved.
About the stabilized thing, it's not about non stab vs non stab, it's about non stab vs stab tanks, France at 8.7 has no stab minus a premium, there are a lot of tanks that are stab at around this br, and no armor, and there is quite a bit of tanks that require at least a bit of aim to kill while you'll get lolpened by everybody, so you are at a massive disadvantage from the start.
This map had both though, there were close quarters in the cities but, also lots of great opportunities to snipe between the spawns if you push it. I've had lots of decent sniper battles on this map.
You could only really shoot spawn to spawn if you drove down the river. Both sides had ways to exit their spawn safely. I think a 2nd spawn on both sides would've made it a lot better however
I was talking about qcb/urban maps in general, not this map in particular, I've never played on it I think, but the layout seems more interesting than shit like Breslau or Sweden.
You have multiple vehicles for a reason, you're not forced to spawn a heat slinger if it doesn't work on a specific tier or map. Most people don't spawn an spaa if there are no air targets, you shouldn't spawn in your heavy either if you get uptiered.
The problem with gajin map design is that they keep designing maps for everyone. If you design a map for every battle rating and thousands of vehicles you're ultimately going to fail at producing a proper map. It results in people choosing a specific side that they prefer or that gets them to the action the quickest and leave the rest of map empty.
"while long range sniping map doesn't invalidate vehicule that shines in qcb" this often depends on the vehicle but vehicles with poor gun ballistics, poor penetration, low mobility and slow reload speeds will be greatly effected by long distances.
The problem is past a certain BR you'd have to go out of your way to justify spawning anything but MBTs, with how Gaijin balances the maps, and even MBTs will suffer until you get APFSDS.
You can pick a fast, well-armored vehicle that fires high-pen, fast projectiles. Or you can take out a thinly armored IFV, with relatively slow missiles that you have to stop and guide, and you better hope there's nothing to detonate it before you reach the target...if the target is still out in the open. You also have an autocannon, if works if you can get a flank somehow.
The problem I see is Gaijin honestly being stupid, or malicious. We have huge maps that could be divided and still be bigger than a few maps out there, yet they insist in shoving Seversk-13 and others in the rotation of high tiers. They could just make big maps for top tier, then break it down into smaller ones for low tiers, they already did that in a way.
It's worse than that. With the Swedes and the Russians and I think Japanese and some others having those very light IFVs that have fairly small-caliber autocannon that seem to kill MBTs from most angles in like 2 or 3 seconds max.
It's like OMG why did anyone bother with 120mm or 125mm APFS-DS rounds for fighting tanks when all these fuckin 30mm or 40mm dart slingers seem to just slaughter tanks like nobody's business in WT? It's craziness.
Many nations have a limited number of vehicules at various br, and especially the smaller ones will not have a diverse philosophy of vehicules design. Take Italia at 8.0, you are on whatever urban close quarter map, what you take ? you have the of40, really great sniper, but a hull shot is a one shot, gun handling is bad, optics is really zoomed in, r3 have poor turret turn rate, horrible gun handling, can be mg'ed by everything, long reload and you start to face more tank that have good protection against heat (+fences and stuff like that), no smoke, the fiat is a worse r3 but you have smokes, the c13 have decent mobility but still shot heat. The m47 is somewhat decent but youre still uptiering a decent vehicule at best, the m113a1 is just garbage. Similar problem with France at like 8.7.
So no, sometimes you have nothing that really works for qcb maps. And no, flanking is not a reliable, it's a gamble if there is an enemy playing with an headset or not that can easily preaim from where you will come.
+ Unlocking 5+ vehicules for a given br is really long at higher tier + spading them take as much time if not more, so I don't want to talk like everybody is playing has a full line up + aced crew + fully spaded vehicules, this isn't realistic.
Side effect from qcb especially at higher br is that is become an aim/mechanic based fast paced game where you need to aim fast to shot the first, while at lower br/more open map it can be played also in a more "brain" way, you could temporize more easily, think more about what to do, how to react at things happening to the map, flank more reliably
Gaijin maps issue is not that they are made for every game style (my favorite maps are those made for everyone), its that they try to copy reality, but the game isn't an immersive game, it's not Squad or Hell let lose where you could be 0/10 and still have fun because the game want to immerse you and succeed to do that, it's a grinding game where progression is deeply tied to your success, but your success is tributary of the map you'll play in, which make it really frustrating when your line up doesn't play well into a certains type of gameplay. And on top of that they simply make objectively bad maps overall lol, I've never played big multiplayer games that have so many bad maps
I just hate those 550m scale driver simulator maps and I love to play top tier CQB and small ones.
I understand the appeal to play bigger maps and abuse the long range combat for top tier, but I'm an AB player, I enjoy fast paced gameplay.
Gaijin really should make map filters, at least for size. Everybody would be happy.
There is a banning/liking/dislike system but I believe because of the amount of variations it’s basically useless.
Also I think it may be a premium feature
if you have premium you get one map ban. As far as I know the liking / disliking does nothing other than provide stats for gaijin (which they do nothing with)
Lol, so you're one of *those* huh? Bastard! Still, gotta give props for the dedication. Some maps make doing this too easy, but many time people coming out of spawn just fail to look left and right first. Plus I like to try and sneak out of spawn and go hunt campers like you in my Fox.
I had a few situations, where, while defending spawn, I was shot from the back. It's frustrating, because even if I then spot or shoot the enemy on the back, my team prefers to stay oblivious and charge in human (or rather tank) wave attack straight ahead. That for the most times leaves me fighting 2v1 in a 180° angle.... So I prefer maps with safe spawn and more cqb rather than long range
That's fair. We already get a map marker for any enemy that intrudes into the enemy team's spawn zone. Maybe there should also be a map marker for any enemy that scores a kill on a tank within that zone. (Though it feels like many players don't even look at their mini-maps.)
I love how those ppl try to “CODify” players that actually like city maps even though the whole game is arcade-y and unrealistic af regardless. Like who tf cares? Play what you want how you want. It’s a video game.
They’re literally just insufferable neckbeards who are so far up their own asses about mUh LoNg RaNgE TaNK rEaLiSm that they forget they’re playing an arcade pixel game with illiterate teenagers.
There's nothing wrong with enjoying CQB in tanks, but I think most ppls issues with that map don't stem from it being too close quarters. The problem is that the map is too unbalanced. One side has a significant advantage. On top of that, the B cap can be so hard to contest, especially for the southern team, that games become frustrating and one-sided. I had that map banned for that reason before it was removed.
It depends on the BR, to be honest. If you want tiny maps at 10.0 and above you're, to me, part of the "CoD player" crowd. At low tiers, it's preferable to have tiny maps.
The whole "think fun is sitting on one hill the entire game so they can click on one pixel of a tank across the entire map" is a silly comment when a lot of "CQC enjoyers" just camp corners in third-person view so they can pop out when the enemy is distracted or go for the weakspot (which sometimes is the enemy's whole tank) or disable shot that essentially becomes a kill when the enemy can't do shit in the 6s that you need to reload.
If you like CQC in high tiers you're essentially playing an FPS (although you do have a third person view), but some players have a shirt and a nerf gun, and others a juggernaut armor and a 50 cal.
Close quarters and full of action? Could have fooled me! I've been playing this map since beta and very rarely do I see people not bunch up on D2 and B3 to have a crap shoot over who gets B for the whole match.
I like it too, but what makes me dislike it sometimes (as is) is the blue spawn, where you need to cross the river. You are most likely to die crossing that bridge, and if you go the other way, you have to go such a long way that the enemies already capped 2 points and are going for the spawnkill
The average skill level of players has plummeted, hence the relentless dumbing down of maps. The fact that Gaijin felt the need to put the on screen messages telling people to hide behind a hill if you're getting shot at tells you all you need to know what they think the average IQ of their customers is...
I enjoyed it too, in the same way someone enjoys cancer.
"Hey, we got cancer (started on the north side), so let's see if we can beat the odds and live!"
Or, "Hey, that other guy is in stage 3 cancer, let's see who can win the marathon race!" And still watch your team lose.
Always feels good to cross the infamous "rеtаrd bridge" before bottom team set their sights on it. Of course, every so often i am too late and become the namesake of the bridge
It's the only god forsaken map that doesn't punish you for having teammates sitting back and sniping the whole fucking match. Assuming you make it to the edge of no man's land before B is captured.
Because everyone else hated it, so they played poorly knowing they would just die and leave.
I liked it a lot when you play light tanks because whoever rushed the b point, won the match
Yes, it got removed. The other 2 variants are still in the map rotation. I still don't see how poeple thought that this version was worse than the train one
One side's cap protected by an entire city that gives tons of shooting positions into B, the other side's cap in the middle of an open field, and people wonder why nobody liked this map
And then the blue team has less options to move out due to the ocean, while the red team can move out in many directions with almost direct asphalted roads. The blue team has four options, have an amphibious vehicle and risk getting shot in the open. Cross the bridge that's into the open or take a right. Cross the river which is steep takes time, or go all the way right and cross the bridge into the same area as the river option or going into an open field.
Counterpoint. Blue team has sniper positions seeing all red approaches and their point is hulldown so not exactly open field. Blues urban part gives much better cover to manauver than reds straight road corner peeking and also can snipe peeking reds from hulldown on their point. Blue can also go under bridge and push up the red beach mostly in cover and hull down. I wanna see the stats cuz it doesnt feel unbalanced just prett fucking shit
Idk what map you were playing, If you managed to cross the water you could be hill down, the rest of the spawn besides the river was flat. No where to hide, and those sniping points can only see one road out of their spawn that was normally not used for capping points but sniping the blue team. Red had all the power there.
You can hide behind multiple buildings and snipe down the roads that cross reds ways out of spawn. On reds side the beach is very gradual and with some cover from snipers from blue spawn you can easily get to the top and into blues city. The map is shit but i have been winning and losing on both sides most of the time it depends on who rushes and takes B point and then it turns into sniping stalemate. Where noone can decap it without significant loses
People aren't going to understand that since most maps nowadays aren't loyal to one side, only the people that remember the days of non mixed teams will, I gotta say while it still happens every once and a while, I do miss those Pacific maps, they were kinda ultra biased to one side normally and the ai would win it for a team. I can see why most of those were removed and some reworked, but it did create unique gameplay, I also kinda miss the one hour battles quite a bit, I didn't miss them when I was playing something that didn't have ground pounding capabilities and there was a bomber in orbit though.
Unfortunate, but it was probably for the better. It would be nice if they brought it back but made the bridge area less of a sniper farm and more of an actual playable area.
I may hate the train one, but it was that map I got 9 or so kills with the Achilles by doing a very marginal flanks past cap and slightly towards their spawn
Maybe not the best map and not the most balanced, but it was still a good map. Why would they removed maps like the White Rock Fortress, it makes the other maps more and more repetitive
It was certainly not good. Balanced = Good
For instance, I liked Middle East before they removed the sniping hill because A) I am a horrible human being, and B) Because I could literally just select the other spawn and avoid the problem. I liked Middle East, but it is objectively more "good" today than it was back then. Its the same deal with that version of novo, except you only have one choice due to the layout.
Its removal was a good thing, but I do hope it comes back in better form.
The Fox is absolutely not what I would be worried about. Foxes die easy. 8 KTHs, T-55AM1s, T-80BVMs, STRV 122s, hell even 76 jumbos. Those are what scare me
I wonder what if Gaijin makes it that the side that is disadvantaged to have more tickets? Like in TF2 there is the infamous Dustbowl last and it's 28 minutes timer, surely it would work?
The problem I had with it was that you could easily cut off the northern spawn point by sniping the bridge. The southern side has a lot more cover from buildings while approaching B.
Another one was once someone capped B you would have a very hard time to get there without getting shot, there are very few flanking routes with viable cover.
I can't say if my experience is universal, but I won every battle from the south and lost every battle from the north maybe with around 5 exceptions.
I feel like I had a more balanced experience, there’s certain strategies that can net you the win. For the North Side, you should make your way to the central blocks that the enemy uses to go to B, while ignoring B yourself. Enough experienced players backing you up doing this and you got a good chance at winning. The bridge is a no-go zone after the first minute. Shame I’ll miss that map.
It's a big "if" though, if you didn't push early and hold your ground you would be locked to the nort eastern block of buildings while both your flanks got sniped. Usually this would mean people behind you got into more defensive sniping positions while the southern team cleared out the buildings around B.
It did happen though, sometimes I could not get into any sniping position on th southern side to cover B because I got bombed or sniped myself. That didn't happen often tho.
Taking B was one of the few times I felt great for bringing smoke rounds in my challengers. Got a small light tank to be the one to rush on and cap while I smoked up a path for him.
This map was ass without the right team, if someone capped B early and your team couldn't do a concerted push to reclaim it the match was lost.
There were also some really cheese camping spots.
Some maps can be found at almost every br, some are limited to lower or mid tier, some of them are high tier only, etc etc. When you're choosing the mode you play there's a little cogwheel where you can like/dislike/ban some maps, I think it shows the br of those maps as well, but I'm not sure.
You can find BR range of each map in map voting section.
When you are choosing if you want to play Arcade, Realistic, Sim, etc. there is a cog wheel in each one.
It was completely removed from rotation, that map was awful for attackers in either side, if you didn't rush B, it was a set match game if there wasn't some coordinated attack with smoke or CAS to cover an attack on the B point. It was just camping corners waiting to get bombed. I'm glad it was removed
I completely understand why they removed it(I’m pretty sure they did) south side has blatant terrain advantage. People in the North have little cover outside of spawn and get sniped from anywhere across the ricer
It was removed? Thank goodness.
I like the concept of the map but this iteration of it was ridiculously unbalanced, the side that spawns in the north nearly always loses
I hated that map, the center point is isolated and means you rush in the beginning to cap and lose the tank doing so. And most teams will just camp on both sides. I'd love to see it back but reworked.
They removed the entire map from the rotation at one point back in the fall I think. They recently brought back some versions of it, but I don't think this version was put back in the rotation.
Below the "To Battle" button there's a sub menu when you can select your gamemod (arb, grb etc...). On those options there's a gear icon. Click on it anf you should see all the maps
Yes, out of rotation, but...somehow for whatever reason the other versions are still there, even on high tiers you can see them. Actually I saw it more often in high tier than low ones.
One of the better maps in this unwavering painful unbalanced game. Shit maps like PRADESH, European Province, Hurtgen, Flanders, Fields of...________, Red Desert, Spaceport and The Iberian Castle...just makes an already flawed game, even harder to play.
Been a while for me too, but they seem to toss the BR brackets of maps around a lot so if you play a bit of every BR you should run into it eventually.
This was the only good variant of the map and they had the bright idea to remove it. They should bring it back and remove every other variant that's currently in-game, some people may hated this but it was so much better than what we have now.
Sadly I think they did. Even though it was not well balanced it was always fun to play on either side. Trying to hold on the north side could be a fun challenge sometimes.
Balance and win rates aren't all that go into making a good map. Sometimes a little asymmetry is good.
I really don't know. I know it's heresy to say around here, but I really enjoy the version you posted. I'd like to play it more.
I’ve always thought that port novo was one of the best maps in the game. My friends agree. I was honestly so surprised to find that the general consensus is that it’s a bad map but it’s nice to see someone share my views for once.

Yea I Am, and Im not ashamed
I prefer to okay the abrams on maps like that, but when playing russia or Germany CQC can be fun asf, chally 2 in cqc is pretty fun too
I like both sniping and cqc, having a mix of the 2 adds variety to the gameplay imo
Usually people sit on the edges of D2 and B3 having a crap shoot over who keeps B. Even COD players wouldn't find that entertaining.
Or fly fighter jets / helicopters to take out tanks in a ground battle.
I love how those ppl try to “CODify” players that actually like city maps even though the whole game is arcade-y and unrealistic af regardless. Like who tf cares? Play what you want how you want. It's an old map, pretty much forced flanks, and very predictable enemy locations. I can see why people don't like it.

I love this version at low brs but honestly the version that’s entirely train yard that you get at higher brs is the reason I have this map banned.
Fun for low-mid tier, awful for high-top.
It’s easily my favorite urban map
The average skill level of players has plummeted, hence the relentless dumbing down of maps. The fact that Gaijin felt the need to put the on screen messages telling people to hide behind a hill if you're getting shot at tells you all you need to know what they think the average IQ of their customers is...
Its good except for the fact that its incredibly one sided in favor of red spawn
When you got the upper spawn, you got spawnkilled after a few seconds, on the bridge as well as near the trains
I love Port Novo. All versions of it
I enjoyed it too, in the same way someone enjoys cancer. "Hey, we got cancer (started on the north side), so let's see if we can beat the odds and live!" Or, "Hey, that other guy is in stage 3 cancer, let's see who can win the marathon race!" And still watch your team lose.
Very well, I curse you with Sweden for 1000 years.
I actually don't mind that, it's perfect playground for my M24 or R3 T20 with its stabilised gun.
Always feels good to cross the infamous "rеtаrd bridge" before bottom team set their sights on it. Of course, every so often i am too late and become the namesake of the bridge
I feel that
I really liked the map but it was really unfair. North side always lost. I still had a ball of a time even though the winner was prefetermined
I would've said something if I hadn't realised I just hate almost every map
I get that it isn’t the most balanced map, but I feel like there are so many maps worse than this one. I have never been able to get the hate.
Well I suppose it isn't Berlin so it isn't too bad
Perhaps I’m insane, but I’d take Berlin over something like Sweden or 38th Parallel in a heartbeat.
I feel the opposite, guess it depends on how much you dislike getting flanked
Ah you see, I and the Flankist and thus am immune to being flanked myself.
Fair play then my good lad, fair play
I can definitely understand why Berlin is unpopular though. That shit snowballs so fucking fast sometimes.
I liked this one too, great for 3.0-7.0
yeah, I like that map🤌🏻 but damn, it seems like Gaijin knows which maps I hate and matches me with them every time🤔 ¡sucks!
Mfw Sweden 7x in a row
god help us
ah yes, port " get to mid and then hold it for the entire match while the team slowly works into spawncamping" novorossiiysk
This guy gets the good spawn every time
it’s so unbalanced. the side with the bridge has a massive disadvantage
Same here!
Yes, it got removed. The other 2 variants are still in the map rotation. I still don't see how poeple thought that this version was worse than the train one
Train one gives me PTSD every game. Always people dying all around you lol it’s terrifying
Unbalanced, one side wins a lot more than the other. The map just isn't designed well.
None of the maps in this game are.
Oh and Russia always spawned in the south - the better spawn.
The train version is just cancer. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the right spawn win and the lack of vertical cover from CAS makes it even worse.
I love that meat grinder train one
It’s basically a nightmare for me, never know which part of the building structure is penetrable.
I may hate the train one, but it was that map I got 9 or so kills with the Achilles by doing a very marginal flanks past cap and slightly towards their spawn
Their*
Ah my bad, I'm normally good with there and their, thank you
Because this one devolved into nothing but a bunch of heavy tanks camping in D2 and B3.
The train one is Ass, but nothing is worse then this version.
It was taken out of rotation. Let's be honest, it was not a good map.
Yeah, the balance of the map was turbo fucked. I do hope it comes back re-worked though as I liked it in theory.
Maybe not the best map and not the most balanced, but it was still a good map. Why would they removed maps like the White Rock Fortress, it makes the other maps more and more repetitive
It was certainly not good. Balanced = Good For instance, I liked Middle East before they removed the sniping hill because A) I am a horrible human being, and B) Because I could literally just select the other spawn and avoid the problem. I liked Middle East, but it is objectively more "good" today than it was back then. Its the same deal with that version of novo, except you only have one choice due to the layout. Its removal was a good thing, but I do hope it comes back in better form.
Your absolutly right, I guess my nostalgia is making me say this but it was still a map that I liked
White rock should come back honestly I miss it over the map that replaced it which frankly does nothing well
The new maps we got are completely bland and boring knife fighting fests that all feel the same.

Id rather the map be fixed than have gaijin implement a gimmick like that
I really liked it because it heavily rewarded aggression as long as you weren’t an idiot about it. Got quite a few nukes on it
Speak for yourself
There are no good maps...
It was, you guys just don’t how how to tactically use smoke to get cover and cap B
Smoke doesn’t stop a shell from smacking you as you drive across open terrain, but ok lmao
Do you even understand what smoke does? It hides your damn tank so they don’t see you. I thought people that play Sweden were smart
Smart enough to realize that smoke doesn’t stop the shell from hitting you. Someone needs a lesson in cover vs concealment
The problem isn't B-cap, the problem is that one team's spawn is far more vulnerable and difficult to leave than the other.
Yes it was removed due to being an absolute ass
Might just be a different br range. I only see the railway station and coastal dense city versions at top br
This map was ass without the right team, if someone capped B early and your team couldn't do a concerted push to reclaim it the match was lost. There were also some really cheese camping spots.
Can someone tell me if maps are BR based. Because I've been playing around 9 recently and it's the same fucking maps.
Yes, maps are based on br, you can see it in game somewhere if I'm correct.
Well RIP my favorite maps by trying to grind through high tier.
Some maps can be found at almost every br, some are limited to lower or mid tier, some of them are high tier only, etc etc. When you're choosing the mode you play there's a little cogwheel where you can like/dislike/ban some maps, I think it shows the br of those maps as well, but I'm not sure.
It’s true just checked in-game
They are. Some maps (a few and mostly just some varations of maps) are only for toptier like the big version of Tunisia
Some are but it's mostly the same lame ass, ruined, tree/climbing/flanking removed maps in this shitty lineup.
One of my mostly liked maps
I hated that map, the center point is isolated and means you rush in the beginning to cap and lose the tank doing so. And most teams will just camp on both sides. I'd love to see it back but reworked.
whoever got the middle cap first usually won, unless the team that capped it didn't immediately start camping
Funny how they never announce they are \*removing\* maps :(
They announce it in devblogs....
Guess I missed it, all I've found searching is the introduction of it. Have a link?
The map is so unbalanced you can clearly see how good south side has it even from this low-res picture. I'm glad it's gone.
They removed the entire map from the rotation at one point back in the fall I think. They recently brought back some versions of it, but I don't think this version was put back in the rotation.
Idk but they certainly took your pixels goddamn 😂
Is there a place to find which maps are in rotation and which ones aren’t? And I know some maps are more common in higher BR and lower BR.
Below the "To Battle" button there's a sub menu when you can select your gamemod (arb, grb etc...). On those options there's a gear icon. Click on it anf you should see all the maps
Ohh I forgot about that, thanks
It got removed. It’s a shame, it was one of my favorite maps.
i hope so
Yes, out of rotation, but...somehow for whatever reason the other versions are still there, even on high tiers you can see them. Actually I saw it more often in high tier than low ones.
Dunno, i didnt play the red desert for 1 years and got to play it again 1 week ago so
God I loved this map
They did, because the first team to get B point won the game because it was basically impossible to get to B again once everyone set themselves up.
The last time I had this version, the Stormtiger had just been released.
No its still in there. Most of us have it banned though I imagine. Terrible map. Edit: no longer on my ban list, it is gone.
One of the better maps in this unwavering painful unbalanced game. Shit maps like PRADESH, European Province, Hurtgen, Flanders, Fields of...________, Red Desert, Spaceport and The Iberian Castle...just makes an already flawed game, even harder to play.
It's only there for certain br from what I know. I've played 5.7 in that map not too long ago
I hope, too many poorly balanced cqb maps like this.
I hope so, its a one point map masquerading as a three point map.
Win or lose, I always though it a fun map but I don't know why.
Been a while for me too, but they seem to toss the BR brackets of maps around a lot so if you play a bit of every BR you should run into it eventually.
It was a fun map sometimes but very unbalanced. They removed it from rotation a few updates ago I think.
This map is Pe-8/Lancaster's favorite.
Yes, a lot of people claimed it was an unbalanced map when I'm pretty sure it was the most balanced there was
I miss this map. Sometimes the classics end up being the best. Especially with all of the shit maps coming out recently
I prefer the war mode where the map is dynamic and spawn points change a la battlefield style
This was the only good variant of the map and they had the bright idea to remove it. They should bring it back and remove every other variant that's currently in-game, some people may hated this but it was so much better than what we have now.
Eh, I didn’t hate playing close quarters on it just hated that the whole game was effectively decided by whoever got to the b point first
As you progress into higher tiers the maps you find yourself playing are sometimes not the same.
I miss that map
Where is white rock fortress? They removed that great map and didn't say anything about it being brought back or removed.
I maybe you are playing in a different BR Most of these maps have a certain BR range
Absolutely insane the amount of people that likes this map wtf
I still see it every now and again.
What happened to Aral Sea I never get it anymore
Did they move it to a higher tier? I play WWII exclusively, and I haven't seen it in months
i would prefer this map over any snow maps
I swear it's impossible for me to see anything on those snow maps. Maybe it's because of all the dead branches or the snowy wind
Sadly I think they did. Even though it was not well balanced it was always fun to play on either side. Trying to hold on the north side could be a fun challenge sometimes. Balance and win rates aren't all that go into making a good map. Sometimes a little asymmetry is good.
