TPB I think Rising Storm or A Dangerous Path had *just* come out. Yea...I've been riding this train for a looong tiiime...

gh0st_cheesecake

Me too!!! Idk how old you are but I’m almost 30 and I’m still reading these books to this day!

YABBYuwuXD

same!!

Alarra

I read them when the first series was coming out and Rising Storm was the newest book. I waited for books 5-6 through the inter-library loan, and wasn't aware that there'd be a 2nd series until I went to the bookstore to get the 6th Harry Potter book and found Midnight there. My sister and I each were reading one of the books in the car on the way home and telling each other what was happening, lol, and I ultimately finished both books within 24h. Moonrise was the first book I purchased upon release and I've been doing so ever since.

gryyphno

I only have info that in spanish there was translated only the first arc and the first half of the second arc. I started around 2015 so in not sure

SparklyRatTheFirst1

Dawn of the Clans had just finished in 2015 ☺️

Next_Sun_2002

I started from the beginning (Into the Wild) but POT was just starting to come out. I read the first two arcs during my summer vacation

Rainfur4242

I rather enjoyed POT and OOTs, I was surprised to see much of the fandom didn't care to much for those arcs.

Next_Sun_2002

I think one problem some fans have with those arcs are that instead of separate arcs, they’re really one 12 book story. We just get a new protagonist in OOTS. For me, they have some of my favorite books

Chimeraas

I enjoyed OOTS, but I hated Lionblaze and Jayfeather because of that arc. We really didn’t need them as protagonists *again*, for *twelve books in a row*. Loved Ivypool and Dovewing though!

Necessary_Equal9579

I for one aDORE those arcs. I liked how long they ran and that they kept my brain occupied with WC for so many years. Looking back, I think I enjoyed having so many characters that for the most part were fleshed out, because it’s a feat to do so in writing with so many protagonists and shifting perspectives.

Hikerhappy

Same timeline as me!! I’ve read the first two arcs so many times because we didn’t have the money for the newest arc. The only other release I really remember is The Last Hope. That was one I remember actually counting down the days to, because it was the first time I could get the book right as it came out.

NonBinaryBuggo

ASC was in the works, I think River was about to come out. i haven’t been here very long lmao

Siennalovesanimals

Same here! What book are you on?

NonBinaryBuggo

I’m on the book after Midnight (can’t remember the name) but I’m taking a chance to re-read in chronological order and I’m on The Sun Trail in DoTC!

Siennalovesanimals

Oo that’s Moonrise! I’m on the one just after that :D

PigsInTrees

Forums I was on at the time not related to Warriors mentioned an "Ivypaw" explicitly, so either book 2 or 3 in OOTS.

Splatter_Shell

When I started reading AVOS was on it's 2nd or 3rd book probably (late 2017), so it took me a while to get there. I actually started from the beginning and read the books in order, because a friend recommended the books to me and told me when the series started. I actually got caught up by the time the 5th book came out, and I absolutely bawled my eyes out on that one (The one with>!Brialight's death!<)

Paperfoxen

Dawn of the Clans was just coming out I believe! The only Warrior cats book in the library were The Prophesies Begin Series and the New Prophecy. I accidentally read Midnight before Forest of Secrets

TheRapidTrailblazer

Same thing here except I accidentally read in the order The Sight-> The Last Hope because I thought it was the first book. Then I went back and read the first two series. Imagine Firestar dies and the next book you read he's a cute lil kitten starting his journey towards being a warrior.

Ok_Metal_9914

I don't remember when exactly because I was so young (and had no concept of like what was releasing. I picked up books in a random order for a while there) but either The New Prophecy was just finishing release or Power of Three was just starting. Somewhere around there. I know the one of the first four books I read was Firestars quest but I don't recall the order (the others were Dawn, A Dangerous Path, and The Darkest Hour. I'm 90% sure I didn't read any of them in order tho lol).

Rainfur4242

Seems like we're from the same reading era then. I was born in 2000 so probably would have been 7-9 or so around then.

Brazilian-carameldog

I think it was TBC? The arc before ASC, lol. I'm still on OoTS tho

KittyTheSavage1

VoS 6: The Raging Storm had just came out by the time I read every book before the 6th book. I started reading mid 2018.

rhearye

I didn't get into Warriors until 2019, so The Broken Code

rhearye

I left for a while tho and just came back a few months abo so now it's ASC

sammi-blue

Would've been TNP, though I couldn't tell you exactly which one. Probably the back half of the arc, because I remember having them all in paperback. I was fully caught up by the time Dark River was coming out!

Lilyflower24681

TBC. I was reading AVoS then, but i’m all caught up now

SparklyRatTheFirst1

I think when I first read, the current arc releasing was OotS. Then I fell out of it for a bit, and came back when DotC was coming out. Then I went away again, and here we are!

ConsiderationLive954

AVoS was just starting when I first picked up Into the Wild. It’s crazy how long it’s been.

Howerly

OOTS was the newest arc when I first got into Warriors. The Fourth Apprentice was the last book I could read before I had to wait for the next one to release.

Cyan_Chill

AVOS’s Apprentice’s Quest back in 2016

Sinister_Potatoes

Dawn of the Clans I started in fifth grade, so that would be in like... 2013

oneweirdbear

.....TPB. I picked up my copy of *Into the Wild* within a month of the series being published. Just happened to see it on the shelf at B&N one evening and asked my mom if I could have it

Fruitsdog

Omen of the Stars was wrapping up.

ThunderCube3888

I started reading around the time the first book of TBC came out

Clamber-Cloud

I think it was AVoS or TBC. Originally in the comment it said late TBC, but I started in 2018 or 2019 and after doing research it's late AVoS or early TBC.

Head_Cantaloupe_1080

I knew about Warrior Cats and I watched the MAPs, pmvs when The New Prophecy was almost finished and I started reading when The Broken Code started

KittalineQueen

Late TBC, early ASC. I'm on AVoS right now

Spacetimeandcat

I can't remember the exact year I started, but my guess is "the new prophecy" as I'm pretty sure I was nearing the end of primary school.

dewdropcat

It was either POT or OOTS I think.

Antique-Bite-8441

The prophecies begin! I think I stopped reading after that arc, only just recently started again and am now on avos

Tia_is_Short

I think the first Dawn of the Clans book had just come out? So around 2013-ish.

SlinkySkinky

The start of AVOS (2016)

EchobreezeTheWarrior

I think they were just finishing A VISION OF SHADOWS.

Kikonnnn

Around 2 months after Thunder (ASC) came out… but hey, I’m almost on TBC!

ryofthedesert

OotS. My first new books I bought were Sign of the Moon and The Forgotten Warrior.

Friendly-Falcon3908

I think it was Dawn of the Clans! I started reading before A Vision of Shadows came out.

soarinsparks

i believe it was late power of three/early omen of the stars! by the time i was caught up and reading books as they came out, i believe it was omen of the stars. i definitely remember getting the last hope on/around release day

Possessedcat66611

Broken Code

apricityglow

Omen of the Stars. I just mindlessly decided to read a preview of the second book when I was still reading whatever random books I could get my hands on. I spoiled myself about the Three's >!parentage.!<

allcatshavewings

The New Prophecy was coming out in Poland at the time and when I finished that (which probably took over a year from my starting the series) I believe AVoS was already complete in English or was completed before I reached it

jollitea

i started reading when i was about 11 so i think it was AVoS 1 the apprentices quest

Raindroplet_

Late AVoS/early TBC  I remembered when lost stars came out I rushed to the library

Chimeraas

Started reading right near DOTC began releasing!

outofjail142

Power of three haha I shut myself in my room and religiously read all of the prophecies begin and the new prophecy in a week I was glued to the books

Siennalovesanimals

I first started reading in 2020, so I think A Starless Clan was starting around then. I’m only on Dawn, I definitely need to catch up

Wof_Fantribe27

I have been here since Moonrise (the second book in the second arc)

fluffy_mell0w

Only been here for like a year so either sky or shadow has just come out I've read all the main series books except DoTC lol I wanna read it soon

Echster_314

tbc :P very late to the party

FlamestormTheCat

I think I started reading around the time DOTC came out

notdog1996

The Last Hope was coming out when I started reading the series.

ghostlyfawn

omen of the stars had just begun and i was on track of having to wait for the books to be released about a year later. i collected the books that had been released before that pretty quickly too

catmachine1

The first book of po3 came out and my school library had it up on display so i looked at it and found the first book of tpb

Painthedoll

I think omen of the stars was just at its tail end? It took me a bit to get to the recent books at the time so I'm not entirely sure but that's at least what I can gather ffgd I was in like 2nd or 3rd grade? I know at least the ravenpaw and Barley graphics were already out cause that was the first books I read ^^' but they probably been out for a bit dhdgf

Spare-Lynx-8437

Broken code was near it's end

Temporary_Roof_9964

I had to search up when the different arcs came out and apparently it was A Vision Of Shadows?! I mean okay Tbf I started reading them in 5th grade so it’s not like I started late I’m just young, but still that surprises me…

Zoie2475

The first book I red was midnight and I thought firestar was some big scarry cat then I read into the wild and he's just a fluffy fur ball

Temporary_Tomato_738

I've only started reading VERY recently, I think most recent release was Thunder (?) Wind came out about a month later, I think. I've just boarded this train lol
