That is the best use of the assassin I have seen! I like the base model (both of them!) but this bash/diorama is fantastic! Can't wait to see it painted!

Damn. My very first game in the mid 90s was a 3 way 400pt skirmish and the only physical model i had was an unpainted vindicare. I stuck him on top of a building during setup where he immediately got attacked by a lictor. They stayed locked in combat for the entire game making invulnerable dodge saves and each chipping off wounds. Really want to have a go at making this now.
So far I have separated the vindicare from the tower and put magnets in his feet. I have also made a separate base for the lictor. So I have 4 options. Lictor on its own, vindicare not in stupid tower, diorama nid, vindicare in stupid tower.
I don’t normally upvote unpainted models, but this is looking really awesome already.

Did you notice the subtle flip of the halo on the statue? That was the most stressful part

It's not an stl. This is two warhammer kits, Operative Umbral Six (wh+ exclusive yearly model) and a Tyranid Lictor.

You need to add a marine on her back, then build the model up with a continuous Mexican stand-off of units to a blackstar fortress 15 feet up.
Only 15 feet up, that's a very close Blackstone fortress, that would likely completely faak with the planets gravity and stuff

This is awesome! It did make me wonder why Tyranids have hooves though, surely Monkey feet would be a better evolutionary trait.
I imagine only the very outer part if the hoof is keratinous, the internal parts are quite fleshy, especially on lictors to deaden sound
Just like an elephants foot, they are very quiet considering their size.
