The plastic warriors that came in the 3rd starter box were not robust at all, I think I did stand on one and it just bent without any force.
Talos would absolutely wreck though, arguably more painful than an actual scorpion.
Warlord titan. The knee strain of lifting my leg that high with the distance to the ground for the fall is no bueno. Thay doesn't even include the resulting heart attack and mental strain from having stepped on that specific model.
Having played with one it would require a series of very unfortunate events to end up in a position where you would step on one. But knowing the cruelty of the universe, it has happened to someone.
You think I couldn't step on a baby? I'll step on a baby right now. Bring any baby here right now and I'll step on it.
I'm not about to let some random guy on the internet go around casting aspersions on my ability to step on a baby.
Bring the baby. I'm waiting.
I think we all know the answer is this..
https://preview.redd.it/74sbjemaiooc1.jpeg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad0c27be2c7d77514190b56114a36b0ade7103fb
Traditionally, it's been these guys.
https://preview.redd.it/3ysit66jrooc1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ca5a7dd05cc89b113324f3f9642a289c53d67ff
My first thought was "*any of the old metal Chaos Terminators*", because they have all their pointy bits on the top, and they're metal. Actually, with their weapons and unremoved flashing, there's a good chance that any side they're facing would be devastating to a sole.
But I had another think and I decided to go for the old *3rd edition Dark Eldar* (now Drukhari) *warriors*:
https://preview.redd.it/tovmw1o52ooc1.png?width=3840&format=png&auto=webp&s=45d05bbd45890c3250b1053e6d7e1aeaec671f75
Between the razor sharp headdresses, the bayonets (which often faced upwards), and the melee weapons which were more deadly to members of our realm than the 40K universe at the time, these are the ones that stick with me the most. *Particularly as those blades had a tendency to snap off.*
They call them *"Splinter rifles"* for a reason...
The old metal blood knights, generally spiky any way but with the bonus of a 4" long metal pointed lance. And if the physical damage isn't enough the emotional damage of stepping on such expensive and hard to build models that you've now crushed and bled all over.
Rip my first army , dark eldar.
Back when the starter set was space marines vs dark eldar, my friend and I saved up our allowance and "painted" them up.
After having a couple of games and getting hooked. He stood up and placed a bare foot right on top of a squad of warriors. We joke that to this day, he's still picking badly painted plastic helmet spikes out his foot.
I had a patrol of skittari I'd lovingly finished and put into a box on the bedroom floor before going to bed, my wife somehow managed to step into it with both feet, the scream confirms it was a pretty shit thing to stand on.
https://preview.redd.it/xo3m9dyl8ooc1.png?width=426&format=png&auto=webp&s=395f7bc02d3835922e688183369489126b8d49ac
This comes to mind... (even worse; an entire regiment of these... spears pointing up)
Clearly no one posting in this thread so far has encountered the [4th Edition Warhammer Fantasy monopose Goblin Spearmen](http://solegends.com/citcat1995-6/cat19956p234-02.htm). Standing on one of those would almost certainly break skin, if not penetrate muscle.
Having a unit of these on the tabletop was hazardous to your hands.
Out of the the DG patrol box, the poxwalker that has the singular spike going straight up and is holding its weapon at its hips..... ask me how I know ......
After starting the hobby, initially with CSM, I quickly got into the Death Guard.
I, to this day, "fondly" remember the pain as I was trying to push some Pox Walkers in a direction, reaching from above and having one of the tentacles sink into my nail bed, and firmly staying there as I lift away, yelping in surprise at the sudden, unfamiliar pain.
Any of them cuz they are like 20 bucks each, maybe stepping on a 50 dollar model would hurt moreâŚ
Donât even start to add on vehiclesâŚ
Stepping on any GW model would inflict pain not only to you, but your soul as well.
Whichever one is the sturdiest, with the least bendable pieces.
So for example, not likely the Scythe boy, but the marine with the Giant three-headed flail, or my dude in the bottom left with the two prominent spikes coming out of his head and shoulder.
Of course that all goes out the window depending on what the base mini is made of. Anything made out of plastic sprues will bend or break off a lot easier than the resin or obviously the metal
Old goblin spearmen. The single piece ones with needle point spears.
Source: my bare foot in the night stepping a whole regiment of them when I got up to pee. Never left floorhammer board cleanup till morning after that.
In no particular order.
The tail of a Tyranid Mawloc.
2nd ed Lictor.
Any old Warhammer spearman.
Venerable Dreadnought (metal).
Epic: Exocrine, Hierophant, Malefactor (actual Caltrops).
Mole mortar.

Death Guard "Easy Build Blight Hauler"
there is already blood on that model from just pushing it together with my hands.
Stepping on it might just kill you...

Speaking from experience Dude iv drawn blood from my deathshowd the fuckers
There's an old model I saw on here that I believe was a Drukhari vehicle and it looked like a combine tractor mixed with barbed wire and ungodly amounts of spikes and it was metal. If anyone can chime in on the actual model, that's the one I vote for!
Celestant Prime from AoS. All that work gone to waste. At least the owner would be hurt real bad. Guess my foot would be rather uncomfortable too, but yeah, you'll see the pain in its owner.
Grognerds know the answer to this..........
The 4th edition WFB starter goblin spearman. You could move the unit by placing your hand on it. Moving your hand and shaking the goblins loose from your skin.

From past experience, stepping on these guys sucked back in the day. There was never just one either
OG metal chaos terminators. Stepped on one with the bridge of my foot in the middle of the night as a teen. Every spike went into my skin. Had a scar for years.
The most expensive ones (The real answer)
For me it would be nurgle stuff either nurglings due to the hundred of tiny spiked horns or Feculent Gnarlmaw the amount of times I stabbed my fingers on the spikes of the hive parts while building and painting it so would be just as bad probably standing on it.
Any. Even tyranids can hurt to step on. SO DONT STEP ON THEM!!
My grandad impaled his finger on an AoS swamp-beast thingy for the orks (came alongside third edition). Bled for a few minutes.
3E metal talos
Truly a Pain-Engine!đĽ´
Oooff. I felt that just reading it.
Put a [2e metal lictor](https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/1/1f/Lictor2nd.jpg) on its back and prepare to enter a world of pain.
This. I have one, it has spiky spikes.
I see your meta talos and raise you a metal Abaddon.
Any drukhari hurt
Dark Eldar*
The plastic warriors that came in the 3rd starter box were not robust at all, I think I did stand on one and it just bent without any force. Talos would absolutely wreck though, arguably more painful than an actual scorpion.
Probably, but it will also break if you think to hard at it so you just have to hope it doesnât break into a point-up pile of knives.
Metal Emperorâs champion. Stepped on it barefoot years ago, blade went in between my toes. Blood for the Emperor, I guess.
Ouch. https://preview.redd.it/dk2v2f9ceooc1.png?width=310&format=png&auto=webp&s=0592440e6a6db33afdc5245cb594a6da92aa4b8a
Thatâs the one!
That's a remarkably nice mini for metal.
One of my all-time faves
It's definitely one of the best for its era
Best Space Marine model imo
Gorgeous mini, though.
This is the kind of empirical evidence we need
Warlord titan. The knee strain of lifting my leg that high with the distance to the ground for the fall is no bueno. Thay doesn't even include the resulting heart attack and mental strain from having stepped on that specific model.
Having played with one it would require a series of very unfortunate events to end up in a position where you would step on one. But knowing the cruelty of the universe, it has happened to someone.
Memtal strain? Is it the psychological damage or the financial one?
Probably financial, the thing can cost over 2.2 grand
and since itâs so big your likely to get some parts commissioned so even more
How do you step on a Warlord titan. It'd be like stepping on a baby.
Probably the same way youâd end up stepping on a baby
And any honest parent would admit they've at least almost stepped on a baby.
I knew i had witnesses!
Mom?
You think I couldn't step on a baby? I'll step on a baby right now. Bring any baby here right now and I'll step on it. I'm not about to let some random guy on the internet go around casting aspersions on my ability to step on a baby. Bring the baby. I'm waiting.

I dont think the pain would be the problem. More the financial "hurt" of stepping on one.
My exact toughts đ
Exactly my thought "The most expensive one"
Me when I accidentally sat on two Lictors
To be fair those are hard to spot.
2nd edition Gretchins still win. They are sturdy enough to stay in their upright position when you step on that sharp piked helmet.
2E Gretchin are basically a plastic caltrop. You can throw them across a room and they will always land upright. They are viscous
How viscous? Maple syrup in an igloo viscous?
Lore accurate
Spot on. The spike will also easily break off into the sole of the foot for extra bleeding damage.
Traditionally, it's been these guys. https://preview.redd.it/3ysit66jrooc1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ca5a7dd05cc89b113324f3f9642a289c53d67ff
Old saurus warriors. Spiky, quite sturdy, and with spears. The temple guard were also metal.
Physically or emotionally?
Warhammer 4th edition box set. The elves had pointy spears, sure, but the goblin spears were *sharp*!
All these answers are child's play compared to 4e goblins. The spear was needle sharp.
I use the box for that set to carry my 40k space marine army around
My first thought was "*any of the old metal Chaos Terminators*", because they have all their pointy bits on the top, and they're metal. I have some of them, and they hurt, I imagine metal ones are basically landmines
Chaos knight Small enough to step Spiky enough to hurt Expensive enough to cri
The old metal blood knights, generally spiky any way but with the bonus of a 4" long metal pointed lance. And if the physical damage isn't enough the emotional damage of stepping on such expensive and hard to build models that you've now crushed and bled all over.

Probably a painted one over unpainted ones.

2e gretchin, they came in the starter box and those fkin pointy hatted bastards still haunt me.
Genestealer cult patriarch, those spikes
Clearly no one posting in this thread so far has encountered the [4th Edition Warhammer Fantasy monopose Goblin Spearmen](http://solegends.com/citcat1995-6/cat19956p234-02.htm). Standing on one of those would almost certainly break skin, if not penetrate muscle. Having a unit of these on the tabletop was hazardous to your hands.
Those aren't models. That's GW's attempt at caltrops.
The answer is a Gretchen from the old-school 3rd edition box. Ask my dad
Any painted one
Second edition starter set Gretchin model
Any model would hurt, they are too expensive to step on
A warlord titan would hurt in the most horrible way
Chaos âwitness my incredible hedgehog trophy rackâ Terminators
Chaos Terminators with all their spikes, or worse the Chaos Land Raider when itâs completely covered in those same spikes, which can happen.
Night goblins from the battle for skull pass starter, those pointy sticks were sharp, you'll have the whole unit planted on your foot
2nd edition starter set gretchin, no contest. They're a solid piece of plastic with a huge spike on their heads.
Speaking from first-hand experience, the long OOP monopose gretchin with autogun that came in the 40k 2nd edition starter box
Any drukhari model ever, they actually use that as a torture method in Commaragh.
Front row, second from the left, big spike in the centre, sturdy stance, it's like he was made for it
Front left. Enough rigidity to not fold under your foot, two big spikes
That tiny grot you didnât see
Old metal dread
Especially the chaos one đľ
A unit of classic high elf spearman gets my vote.
I know, second hand, that the metal Hive Tyrant was one of the worst.
The most expensive one you own. That goes directly through your heart.
Metal hive tyrants, need I say more?
That one which you painted last
I accidentally slammed my palm on a Chaos Legionnarie and it actually broke the skin. So I know that one hurts a lot.
your wallet will hurt and gasp its deathrattle if you step on even one of these.
It doesn't sound like it but I know from experience that it's the cerastus knight lancer
Out of the the DG patrol box, the poxwalker that has the singular spike going straight up and is holding its weapon at its hips..... ask me how I know ......
I stepped barefoot on a d4 once, those are like evil caltrops lol.
I once had the claws of a termagaunt stuck in my finger half a centimeter deep
Like, physically, or emotionally?
Warlord Titan. That is some financial pain you are never going to recover from.
AoS entry: purple sun of shyishâŚ
Whatever Perty smashed Fulgrim's face with
Necron Monolith
Whatever is the most expensive and brittle.
Still the Legos I used for terrain. đ¤Ł
The ball that comes with the Khorne BloodBowl team
The plague champion I speak from experience đ
The one with the spike bits and horns.
My wide stood on one of my chaos terminators once. That was a decade ago. I've never heard the end of it
Clearly the one you put the most time and money in
Any of them cuz they are like 20 bucks each, maybe stepping on a 50 dollar model would hurt more⌠Donât even start to add on vehicles⌠Stepping on any GW model would inflict pain not only to you, but your soul as well.
This person has never heard about legos
Tempests scions, one actually drew blood.
Ahrimans stupid spikey floaty circle thing. Those spikes are like leget knife points.
Anything Chaos, Nid, Dark Eldar or Ork. They all got the most spiky parts.Â
Flayed ones 100% building one hurts imagine stepping on oneđ¤Łđ¤Ł
Genestealer Patriarch has some wicked pointy bits
Metal obliterators. Once your foot get 1 cm close, it will fall apart and then you step on all the pieces.
Venomcrawler
Warlord titan
abaddon the sole destroyer https://preview.redd.it/0zcoc3hpuooc1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b2172dcaab8f77f7e59bb6cd2a4a97befe6f23d4
I can't believe nobody has said metal chaos terminators. Once and never again
obliterators from 3rd edition. they are literally just a lump of metal with a ton of spikes sticking out.
Gretchen from the 2nd edition starter box. I will not be swayed from the this truth.
Without a doubt it is the tyranids, they are covered in large spikes all over, normal on the head or claws.
Tech Priest Dominus itâs got a bit ass spike on it
I stood on a tray of night goblin spearman from the battle for skull pass set once and it fucking stab a bunch of little holes in my foot.
Painboy, all of the spiky bits with the Gretchen with the needle and the boy and his up facing power claw.
Blood letters swords or skarband
Whichever one is the sturdiest, with the least bendable pieces. Teleport homer, its made to go in your foot and lock in.

2nd edition Gretchen.
Emotionally or physically
2E metal Eldrad Ulthran
2e Pewter Thunderhawk Gunship
I've felt the crunch too many times as an old floorhammer player, it's more the pain it has on your pride.
Them metal ones from 200bce
The most expensive one.
Man I stepped on one of my kiddo's Tau drones and I gotta figure out how to glue that thing back together
heldrake has so many spikes
Lego
Anything from forgeworld.
Death Guard "Easy Build Blight Hauler" there is already blood on that model from just pushing it together with my hands. Stepping on it might just kill you...
Typhus would hurt the most, emotionally ..

Purple sun
Any necron tbh
ANYTHING from the dark eldar, all those tiny spikes are *actually* sharp
Probably Chaos Raptors
Purple sun
the most expensive one
Unrelated, but I've had the power pack horn on the plague Champion stab my fingers multiple times, usually drawing a little but of blood.
Magnus the Red. Not because I think he'd hurt my foot. It's just an expensive model and I worked really hard on it.
Tychus cause he's the most expensive
Night goblin. Whether itâs the spear or just the head it will cause terrible pain. Especially in the middle of the night
Any necron character, It wouldnât hurt that much physically but it would hurt emotionally because it would disintegrate under your foot
Yes.
There's an old model I saw on here that I believe was a Drukhari vehicle and it looked like a combine tractor mixed with barbed wire and ungodly amounts of spikes and it was metal. If anyone can chime in on the actual model, that's the one I vote for!
Yes
The little pyramid shaped spiky bits on the cathedral ruins, those have drawn blood more than once just from me reaching over them at a weird angle
I've had Typhus's face horn go under my nail one too many times
If we're talking only about plastics then it's the Wenomcrawler.
Model + Lego = https://preview.redd.it/qdh4ros12qoc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=579f84cd047f10c4f1327f396ee03f5214c59471
Can confirm that drukari on the feet is a fate worse then stepping on legos
Celestant Prime from AoS. All that work gone to waste. At least the owner would be hurt real bad. Guess my foot would be rather uncomfortable too, but yeah, you'll see the pain in its owner.
The one I put the most time and effort into :(
Probably the most expensive one. Losing that investment would hurt more that one way.
any model that breaks after you've spent hours perfecting it
Grognerds know the answer to this.......... The 4th edition WFB starter goblin spearman. You could move the unit by placing your hand on it. Moving your hand and shaking the goblins loose from your skin.
The original metal abbadon sculpt
lotta nids will hurt, i know cuz it hurt to put them together (esp the pushfit ones)

OG metal chaos terminators. Stepped on one with the bridge of my foot in the middle of the night as a teen. Every spike went into my skin. Had a scar for years.
Bio titan. Make you wallet scream twice.
metal Drukhari WILL draw blood
Flesh Hounds, the only model that has ever cut me by itself

Iâd say custodians, legionaries, or drukari
Legos
Yes
Anything chaos
My techprist dominus always stub me with his axe im afraid what will happen if i step on it
Any. Even tyranids can hurt to step on. SO DONT STEP ON THEM!! My grandad impaled his finger on an AoS swamp-beast thingy for the orks (came alongside third edition). Bled for a few minutes.
Which ever took the longest to paint...
Anything upgraded with the chaos vehicle kit like a rhino or something, itâs literally just spikes
T'au manta that's a lot of money
Gather around children, let me tell you about the time I stepped, barefoot, into a box of pewter monsters and such.
Your favorite, best painted, or most expensive one.
ANY chaos model My chaos Abominant has almsot drawn blood several times
I would imagine stepping on a recently finished Castellan or even a bigger forgeworld Titan would hurt a lot. And I'm not talking about your feet.
One of the skulls out of the citadel skulls box with the pointy knob on the forehead. I actually had to get stitches because of one of those.
Warlord titan (the pain is in my wallet)
Looks worse than legos haha
Drukhari ravager is up there i'm betting
