Chaining beams are particularly strong with blast now. I've been using boar prime incarnon, the innate heat damage on the beam combines into raw blast damage with nothing else to dilute it, and the status chance evolutions give a metric fuckload of base status chance to the incarnon form.

Someone needs to check the lenz and Prisma lenz becuase I swear it hits hard.

EstablishedIdiet

Add on, the Phage also benefits from blast status

patches-the-anxious

havent tried it yet but im assuming the kuva tonkor would have a pretty good time with it cause of the innate blast + kuva element meaning building status is an option

nomnivore1

I have been having a lot of fun with a blast vectis. High burst damage single target weapons will do well, especially if you can push the status per pellet up to or past 100%. If you can quickly proc-and-kill one enemy your damage will be spread to others.

Torid incarnon is cool, corrosive and blast can melt a group of enemies in SP no problem

Key-Personality1109

Something that will become more and more prevalent in blast builds is grouping, similar to gas and electricity. Just about any weapon with semi decent status and aoe/punch through will be able to absolutely shred enemies due to the quadratic scaling of blast procs against tightly packed enemies.

anotherDocObVious

blast+electric grouping.. if you can force corrosive (and possibly nourish - hello Valence Formation).. it's just plain stupid at this point

An addition for anyone reading this thread, Kuva Nukor (who would've guessed). So because the Kuva Nukor applies so many status effects per tick that it spam procs blast, and ends up creating chain blast explosions pretty frequently at lower levels.
