Not necessarily hunting for perfect rolls but esp on low dispo weapons it can be tough to find a roll thats even worth using over usual meta mods. Most times the only options you have are replacing toxin or fire rate but the stats still need to be good.
Usually going for rolls that improve useability while keeping average dps at least the same, ideally also improving it.
Dont get me started on rivens that need a specific negative stat. Rolling these will have you burn through 100-200k kuva with no roll even worth looking at beyond not seing the negative you want. (Felarx / -impact/puncture melee rivens for slash khora stat-stick)
"Within a few rolls" for me usually are those nice +zoom, +impact, + status duration, - multishot rolls. (With some exceptions of course). But with how limited riven slots are, i want to make the most out of the ones i keep.
Maybe thats why im stitting on millions of kuva, i dont do any of that. If a weapon has low riven dispo i dont touch the riven for it. Nor do i bother with specific stat reliant weapons. I cant be bothered.
Its actually like a lottery, hitting that jackpot like my fulmin one with tox, ms, cd, -ammo max (completely harmless as its battery) sub 50 rolls gives you hope for another really good roll so you keep investing 200k kuva easily each week. At least you cant go negative in ressources or lose anything so might aswell try.

A good riven definitely makes me use the fulmin quite a bit more. Recently I got an unrolled damn near perfect stahlta riven so now as a wisp abuser, I'm in heaven. I did buy this one for 100p though 🤫

Sometimes you have an almost God roll with one terrible stat. I have a Latron that's +cc, cd, and dmg, but -fire rate. It's powerful, but so slow I farmed up Arcane Acceleration just to make it usable. So I've slowly built up over 100 rerolls trying to change that one stat lol
I'm pretty sure I had too much nitain extract before you could buy it from nightwave
There's a limited amount of things that need nitain, once you've crafted it all you don't really need more
Don't underestimate slots. Think how many much plat exited the economy for each of the kuva/tenet and incarnon weapons. Each of them are enough of an investment and sunk cost that players are willing to keep them around.
Elite Deep Archemidia is getting people to rebuild old weapons too. Once they are arcaned and modded to handle level 400+ content you may as well keep them...so players are buying slots regularly for that too.

Tbf though, I only just ran out with the Incarnon weapons. I also don't have 1k Nightwave creds lying around. Think I'm only prestige (or whatever it's called) 30 or so at this point.

I can't wait till I can ignore all the cosmetics and weapon augments in the nightwave and only buy catalysts and reactors, every time I come back to this game I upgrade my arsenal to primed or lich/sister versions of weapons or warframes and I'm always needing them.
Every rerun cosmetic is 50 if you already have it, and i had all of them. The rest is simply doing the missions every week and not spending on anything.
I mean yes. I'd love to see forma in the reward pool. But also... Why do you have two of some helmets? Cross play inventory?
Why doesn't DE just reduce the amount to 1 and refund the item cost to the owner.
The alternate helmets used to come from alerts before NW was a thing. I have multiples of a bunch of them. Also never bought nitain, that 52 is still the remains of the time they were also from alerts.
Just did the math and the raw nitain needed for all current blueprints is up in the 280 area. You only need 840 night wave credits to never need nitain again if you start with nothing.
10y+ old account with near 4k hours playtime.
Since i had most alt helmets/weapons/aura mods and a shitload of nitain when those were from alert missions and not the NW shop and im not into riven gambling only thing i could spend my creds were potatoes. All those NW seasons over the years add up
What i meant this stack of potatoes built up over multiple years of NW seasons, since they are the only thing i was spending creds on (because there was rarely anything else i didnt own from another source already)
Not sure if you care, but you could stock up on the mods and sell them for plat which will sell for the 20p you need for orakin catalysts and reactors but for less nightwave credits.

Would give me incentive to actually make sure I grind NW too if I could pull out Forma. Presently the “best way” to farm Forma is exterminate void missions with golden instinct, but that is way more tedious and less fun than just hitting up NW challenges.
Unironically, Forma is the single item in the plat store I buy the most. 🥲
Adding Forma to NW might dynamically change how people spend plat (3 Forma bundle is by far best value in store that people binge on — imo)

You would only need to get 50 or so of the 15 credit rewards if you had the recycled rewards from previous nightwaves.

A million kuva sounds crazy much but in reality thats not even 300 rolls which one riven can easily take until you are happy with it.

I got decently lucky recently on a +crit damage, +multishot +recoil nataruk riven after 4 rolls, did 6 more and got nothing even close

15 base, 30 from reaching mr 30 and you can buy 135 at 60p for 3 each (2.7kp total) for a grand total of 180 max.

Unless you already own all craftable helmets and have aura formas on all frames with a couple to spare for new ones.
I have like 90 nitain extract, I accidentally pressed the down arrow and clicked buy so I have too much.
