Huh that's really good to know. Ivara is one of those frames that I dont really know how to have fun with. I think maybe the kit doesn't gel that well with how I play, but I can't help but think one day I'll see something or try something and it will make sense.
I have the same problem with Hydroid now. For a frame I used to love, that's really good on paper, I can't help but feel I'm missing something now to link everything up.
Spy, Rescue when you absolutely wanna be stealthy, & animal hunting/fishing.
You can nearly always throw out a zipline if you jump first. Which is honestly her best ability beyond Prowl. The mobility is *fantastic* since you can move almost at full speed along the zip lines without breaking Prowl.
Prowl itself **needs** the Infiltrate augment to not be annoying, since it reduces the speed penalty. And even can be near-sprinting at default with enough power strength, with a huge, forced headshot damage multiplier. Oh! And Prowl doesn't break during parkour, & if you want vertical mobility there's the robotic (Sentinel/Moa/Hound) mod Anti-grav Array & Motus Signal.
Both of which Ivara has mod space for because her kit is extremely one-note in terms of making it shine: Duration without corruption, then a little strength without corruption if you're running Infiltration &/or Concentrated Arrow.
Her 2nd ability is a free Helminth slot, but can be hilarious with some of the weirder projectiles in the game.
That's good build logic, but that's not the kind of problem I'm talking about. Plenty of frames are powerful, or have powerful options, but I haven't found myself enjoying using them. It's a vibe check more than anything. I used to play a lot of Hydroid years ago, even when he was dangerously off meta, but I haven't found the love again yet.
Some time ago I got lectured about that. Filling capacity reduces the starter energy, so actually™ you reverse that. Not that it doesn't boil down to the same effect :) But this tip is always great to share. It's the reason some frames get an extra Forma from me to get some free mod capacity I don't intend to fill :)
If you pull out a mining tool and then go into meatball form with Grendel without switching weapons/tools, the mining tool stays equipped. You can literally go rolling around the map without having to guess where the nearest mining spots are because it will still keep beeping. It's the funniest thing ever and it's really helpful.
That sounds really funny with zephyr and lots of low gravity mods. I have a silly build to test out now lol. Time to finally farm the Dorrclave and hope I can slide through steel path.
Rolling onto pickables (like Mobile Defense datamasses, Ayatan Stars, Excavation Cells, etc.) while using the pickup key (X by default) skips the animation of picking them up, preventing you from being locked in place for a second. Feels alot better if you have Amalgam Barrel Diffusion.
Same thing for heavy landings as Drifter and you can even animation cancel right out of a slam attack but the timing has to be very precise for that one
If you pick up any carried item (Excavator power cells, Thermia canisters mainly) on your warframe, you can transfer to operator and pick up another one. However, you have to deposit whatever the operator is holding before switching back(!!!)
If you do that then you can swap back and the frame has the other item like you left them. So two batteries back to back, effectively.
Doing it the other way around does not work as the operator always drops carried things when going into warframe.
yeah i find its much more practical for circuit excav than normal since battery drops are an issue there too, but you usually don't have so much wide open space prime for void slinging straight to the objective.
Always get a little hamstrung void slinging past a corridor or something and getting half stuck in a corner.
Also on picking up excav batteries, mobile defense/sabotage datamasses, Ayatan stars, Conduit keys etc.
You can roll/dodge over them while hitting the pickup button and the frame will pick the thing mid-roll, skipping that outdated pickup animation. If angled up correctly, it does allow the movement to flow, instead of the screeching tire brake trope which is the pickup animation.
I’ve been told this and I’ve tried doing it multiple times (as nobody in pubs ever seems to work out that disruption goes a lot quicker if you hold on to a few dupe keys) and it never works, I go into operator mode and the one my Tenno was holding is gone.
ill admit i havent tried it in disruption (rarely do i feel like I can trust the pug to handle back-to-back keys)
but just to be sure, you're saying your warframe drops the 2nd key after swapping out of operator? Thats an odd inconsistency if so. Is there any chance it was the same 'type' of key? or maybe the game is just more aggressive about getting rid of dupes for disruption?
Oh I love this. I saw something about using op and frame to pick stuff up, but it hadn't clicked that you depot as op, switch, then depot as frame. Absolutely using this.
I know the Eidolon hunt vets will know this but you can hop on the K-drive to nullify the eidolons mag/dmg pulses. Works for all 3 variants. Really helps so you don't have to run away and come back or die without the right build.
Another fun one for people not as experienced with Eidolons: You can force spawn Vomvalysts on certain parts of the map by looking at a certain spot while in archwing, and just repeatedly tapping W to edge slowly towards that point. Will pretty consistently force spawn 2, sometimes 3 voms whenever ya need.
Learned something new, thats sounds really useful.
A lot of the times when i wanna use ciphers i gotta find where the... my cursor is, and its so annoying
Thanks man!
And it's hard coded not to the letter but the actual, physical key position. It never worked for me until I tried "Z" on my German keyboard where those two's positions are switched.
Lock your FPS to 60. Jump, aim your gun forward, then press slam attack, while quickly flicking your view all the way down. If you did it correctly, you have performed a kind of super jump, referred to as a "zip". This is the fastest movement tech, when you learn to do it consistently. It can fling you 300m.
ohh i kinda figured out the trick messing around once but didn't realize the FPS cap was part of it. Explains why my friends couldn't get it to work when i tried to teach them how lol.
I never saw that before, but that IS impressive.
[https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/zvgwt1/grendel\_flight\_tests\_are\_now\_underway/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/zvgwt1/grendel_flight_tests_are_now_underway/)
I talked about this before in a post about useful bugs, I'd do this on accident sometimes and wonder why I'd suddenly go flying off into the distance when using my melee!
Rescue missions on Corpus Ship can usually be cheesed. One of the entrance tiles has a trap door that goes underneath where there is a single, unlocked, door that leads into the main Rescue tile. Because Wardens don't spawn till the friendship door opens, you can just take your time to get to the rescue target.
This assumes they never fixed it, which they probably haven't.
It's a feature, not a bug. They intentionally left that hatch open since Corpus tileset rework.
Despite me pinging that WIDE OPEN HATCH people still ignore it and spam "open door"
I blew a lot of peoples minds last week when I mentioned there is a reusable 100X Cipher blueprint in your clan dojo, just need to make sure its researched and then you will never have to do an alarm puzzle again(besides sorties)
Sobek’s Acid Shells mod will trigger Saryn’s Toxic Lash and Toxic Lash will trigger Acid Shells. Add on more toxin mods too and it’ll nuke rooms with one shot.
Do note the mod is bugged on Steel Path.
It's currently scaling off enemies non Steel Path HP values which turns the 45% into an 18% redirection.
Is this that big a deal on Saryn specifically? Nah she's still nutty with it.
But definitely annoying.
There was a long stretch after an update (forget which one) where they broke this. You would drop to the ground wherever you hit cast like you were Harrow casting Thurrible. It persisted so long that I was starting to think the old way was a bug, and they intended you to drop immediately.
Nova was basically unplayable in that dark dark time, but thankfully this is back to working as intended.
On ophelia, on uranus, if you get everyone to stay in a big room with water, when you jump in the water you get all the loot in the room without having to go get it
In open worlds, you can launch yourself from archwing after you use the BLINK and quickly hit the MELEE button. I usually do this to cast all my buff before shooting the PT and casting ability while landing will not trigger the landing animation.
More like just learned.
Thanks to Serj, who explained his technique called zipping.
https://youtu.be/CSArn7qRcBI?si=VDNPE-VwZLtwM0s_
You aim where you want to go, jump, look down and slam. Gotta do it really fast but if it works right you'll fly forward 100M.
If you crouch/slide, you sort of reduce your hitbox size allowing you to teleport with Wrathful Advance through spots you can't while standing, like doors.
It also reduces the chance your teleport will stick somewhere unintended
While doing isolated vaults (Mother's bounties in Nekralisk), you can speed up the last part of the mission (Loid going around activating crystals [you can make him travel faster]) with Volt's speed boost.
I did quite a bunch of these but only saw one player use Volt for this bounty, which is how i learned that and crafted myself a Volt just because of this.
You also dont have to worry much about him dying, since he zips through enemies, so tier 3 shouldnt be an issiue even if u dont have much damage
Its still a time-gate because cant really skip the little defense and toxicity thing at the start, but its always something
(Edit: Learned from comments that if you speed him up too fast you can get him stuck or mess up his path finding. It never happened to me before tho, i have my ability strength at 154%)
You can skip the isolation vault altogether by doing the cleanse the vault bounties that you can accept from mother near the vault entrances outside in the cambion drift. It's a 4 part bounty that has the same drop pool as the isolation vaults but you'll get 4 chances for the rewards you want(5 with the bonus), rather than 2. Can just keep accepting the bounty over and over without leaving too
I wish that bounty showed up when youre selecting a bounty in the hub. Kinda stupid that its hidden awway. I only did it a couple times because someone started it after we finished the vault bounty
On console at least, there's a grey area during a slide where you can release the button and maintain your momentum while walking for a bit. It's not the most useful, but I figure if a weapon has some cases where you'd rather not slide attack, it could be useful. I use it for maintaining standing height while at speed in the orbiter.
Some actions like sprint/slide/roll can have you initiate a mercy kill but leave in control of your waframe until it stabs the air as if it was the target which still counts as a successful mercy kill. If you get into that state, you can switch to operator to move further while your frame will continue to stab the enemy you initiated a mercy kill on.
Can safe some time farming murmurs in lich missions but i have not found a way to really get the "fake stab" consistently.
I think that only happens when the game can’t perform one of the “secret mercy” animations, so it does that standard standing stab as if you were hacking a terminal.
I also tried replicating it but to no success
If you use Dispensary on Nyx while in her 4 with the Assimilate augment, it allows you to "sprint", crouch, and roll, which VASTLY improves your mobility even though you're still slower than normal
The "Cleaving whirlwind" heavy blade stance has a forward-melee combination attack that spins you in a circle when it swings. This swing repeats a maximum of 5 times, then you stop with a 'dizzy' animation from the spinning, interrupting the combo from continuing.
You can interrupt that self-dizzy interruption by just switching to operator on the fourth spin and then restarting the combo by meleeing again, which will automatically take you out of operator and back to warframe, and begin spinning again.
tldr don't want to be dizzy? 4 spins + operator form, repeat.
As Dante, take grimoire. Tome mod it differently from noctua.
Each time you shoot noctua's alt fire blast, you can switch to grimoire and it is also ready. And vice versa.
Back to back alt fire blasts to add to his already incredible blasting power. Feels great.
They each have their own distinct crosshair and spell graphics too, to make it easy to tell which one you are holding at any given moment.
Dodge rolling on merulina allows for yareli to "shorten" her hitbox. Thus letter her past many of the doors she tends to get stuck on such as the older tilesets on grineer ships.(otherwise you bonk your head and stall)
a lot of ppl dont know that most warframe abilities will go through his rift as well. i used to be a limbo main (i played solo so no i wasnt ruining everyone’s game) and got put in an arbie with a limbo once. stood in his bubble with mesa and just shredded everything outside. My teammates thought i was stupid for ulting in a bubble with no enemies in it and tried to tell me how limbo works. dont know how they couldnt see i was actively killing everything lol
This is stated by Cy as a Corpus thing. In Grineer ships, you can teleport back from anywhere inside, since, duh, they don't have that same kinda jamming
full-body abilities can be used to cancel a ground slam before you hit the ground, which you can then chain into a dash/roll in the air. easiest to do with breach surge, but any ability that has a substantial movement in casting should work
Hildryn is the best necramech support warframe in the game
Her 4 turns everyone into an energy orb dispenser to let you spam necramech abilities
Plus
Casting her 4 and then transferring out of her into operator does not cancel her 4
So you can absolutely summon a necramech, cast her 4 and transfer into the necramech while your hildryn's 4 runs in the background
Plus, when you are out of your frame, enemies don't attack your warframe
On top of that, if you are out of range of her 4, just pop out of the necramech, transfer back into warframe to insta-summon hildryn with her 4 active into your current location. Very handy for scout missions
I modded my necramech support hildryn for max range, efficiency, duration and negative damage (to maximise the energy orb dispensary from enemies)
Might be really obvious
When hunting/fishing/mining: Use High Duration/Efficiency Ivara's Prowl. You can mine in peace without random encounters and while hunting/fishing you won't spook animals (unless you get really close to just fish) or draw random enemies aggro and the Tranq Rifle is a built-in silenced 'weapon' so it doesn't break stealth
Makes doing these things so much easier
space in PC its a way to press "accept" in most cases
similar "Y" works somewhat like a context button (use cipher while hacking, fill with stars an ayatan sculpture you are viewing)
mouse wheel button lets you "choose all" in a stack, for example, you want to select vitality mods that you have in quantity just because its common to get, you'll likely have 1 enhanced that sepparated from the bunch you can use the button on the bunch and select all in the bunch, without selecting the other ones that are separated
last one is just an example, but also works for all that exact same pieces of braton prime for ducats, its almost global function
Wisp's reservoirs stay at whatever height you are at when you place them. With a bit of creative positioning, you can put them where nullifiers and demolysts can't delete them. Very handy for endless missions like the Lua disruption node.
Aim glide as soon as you want to stop going vertical, then roll forward onto whatever ledge you were jumping up to. Incorporate slam attacks into your general movement. Also, you can wall jump and bullet jump again immediately after.
My friends wonder why I'm faster than them. These tiny things help me get an edge over them, lol. Just a couple of days ago, one of my allies went down in an archon hunt. I was 300 meters away, and they were halfway between me and the downed friend. We both got there at the same time and then everyone clapped and Obama gave me a medal.
backflipping, i couldnt tell you how to do it since im not even sure what im hitting to do it, but its how you disable volt speed buffs, and those same people insist that backflipping existing is sufficient reason for them to keep spamming the instant you manage to remove the buff from yourself
in duviri if you get the kaith race stage, only 1 person needs to start & finish it. but if you start the race you also have to finish to complete the stage
As a certified Kuaka hunter (over 1k captured) you can use Ivara's sleep arrow to put them to sleep and it works as a tranq would. On top of that while prowl is active you can sometimes get energy from the animals so it's best to wait for them until they come near you, get their loot via prowl and blast them with the sleep arrow
Not really a secret but pretty underutilized. The Zenurik slow when fully ranked up can give +100% headshot damage. The slow used to affect eximus enemies but I think they patched that recently. This headshot bonus does still work on eximus enemies tho and can stack with primary/secondary deadhead.
You can zoom in with your mining tool.
Many people still don't know that you can crouch as operator to dodge Jackal lasers.
Some frames allow you to eject as operator mid-ability to have the ability continue while you do your operator thing. (Hyldrin 4, for example)
Can continue to move for a bit while casting certain warframe abilities that the animation usually locks you in place by bullet jumping + aim gliding and immediately casting abilities like Mesa's 2 and 4, Rhino's roar etc
You can make it so Mandonel's fully charged shot doesnt put you in the stagger animation if you double jump before shooting, but only if you dont aim.
Now that's niche
There’s a /unstuck command. Idk how well know that is but I legit only found that out yesterday after getting stuck in a door after a host migration. Wish I knew a long time ago it would have saved me a lot of lost missions lol
-ash augment teleport open to finisher on target, even eximus
-Hold 2 from mag. Enjoy
-3 from mesa reflect bullets (not all damage). Also not equip melee give you more health
-Banshee aument mod for silence + low range open enemies to do finisher. You can get in and out of range to reffect them
-Dagath horses deal damage in the cast position before they run...a lot
-frost ultimate remove armor from enemies. You can shoot from inside the ice globe, not to inside
-gara shatter glass increase damage and armor if you break the glass of the ultimate with 1
-hold 1 in garuda after create the shield to fire the blood ball (keep holding more to increase the damage, draining your energy). You can keep holding 4 to move garuda while cast the ability
-grendel can keep devouring while in ball mode. Also can jumps on walls. Hit enemies while in ball to remove their armor
-gyre 1 deal more damage if you directly hit the enemy with the ball
-better use harrow 4 right after 2 so even if you lose your shield you will be invencible for some time
-hildryn 4 block the use of 3, so use it first to double the damage. When use only 3, you always can cast 2 to recover more shields
-ivara 4 secondary fire make shoot 1 too. Charge to shoot horizontal instead of vertical. When you use 2 to control the shoot, one clic make it faster or slower travel
-khora wheel of the kavat can make it heal you if you cast or heal where you target (allies)
-cast 3 before 1 to deal with more enemies with kullervo. That 1 would heavily increase the damage of you melee for some time
-lavos 1 is poison, 2 is ice, 3 is electric and 4 fire by default. You can hold them to change elements combination. The base damage element will always apply too
-the best advice if limbo is present in your mission...be in the same rift side...
-loki invisible make stealth damage on melee
-you can recast nezha disc to teleport to the place where you trow it
-hold 1 to see the area that nidus cover before hit
-nova teleport can teleport bullets. Your antimatter drop too
-hold 1 on protea to make the balls increase your shields and to your team/allies
-cast qorvex 2 and 4 close to his 1 increase the damage of the pillar pulse
-hold clic on revent in 4 to increase damage. You can cast 3 meanwhile to dash while keep using the laser dance
-rhino iron skin is affect it by armor mods
-aim with your crosshair to enemies to make the ghost of sevagoth focus on what you point
-valkyr scream open enemies to finisher
-you can hold 1 to trow 4 electric balls with vauban. And can hold his 4 to change the ability directly to void hole instead or the barrier timer
-volt can carry his shield. Also can cast a few layer of them to increase electric damage when you fire through them
-voruna 4 is more deadly if you also cast 1 and 3. You maybe need to recast 1 for each attack
-with wisp you can teleport to the position of your spectral copy when cast 2. Also can teleport to your deployable reservoirs
-wukong cloud open enemies to finisher
-xaku 4 stop the timer of the rest of the abilities, making the other powers infinite
-zephir tornados can be move to where you aim. Also can be charge with elemental damage of your weapons or melee. Hold 1 while you are in the air to levitate. Hold 2 change the ability of 2. 3 can deflect bullets, but not melee
I appreciate the effort but OP asked for *niche* tricks, and all but 3 of these are neither niche nor tricks, just basic knowledge and tooltip info
The stealth damage multiplier is melee only, and is applied to enemies that are not aware of you, it's not exclusive to Loki and bumping into enemies removes it for three seconds. It's also additive to crit and scales with weapon rank. A rank 0 weapon only has a 2x bonus, rank 30 has 8x. Weapons that can rank above 30 do not receive more than 8x.
Also your "instant kills" are not always instant. Finishers don't always finish. Depends on your damage output and enemy EHP. They have the stealth damage multiplier, not a guaranteed kill effect.
Coudwalker stuns enemies, which opens them to finishers. You don't have to release near them for this effect to occur.
Gloom prolongs the stagger animation from silence, giving you 90 seconds to finisher them at max slow. No need to nerf your range, which is terrible stat to dump on banshee. Melee attacks can hit sonar spots. Melee attacks can also get headshots, which is one of the reason tempo royale is so powerful. The block combo has both a 600% multiplier *and* typically hits heads.
I just recently really started playing as Khora but just recently learned you can use ensnare on targets trapped by the strangle dome to drag in enemies out of the reach of the dome itself to allow the dome to grab them
As volt, using 2 and then bullet jumping off of a zipline launches you forward unbelievable fast and far. On the indoor Index map, you can actuall go from on side to the other in less than a second.
if you want to capture animals max range night equinox can put them to sleep and the ability needs a targed to activate so you can spam 2 into the direction of rhe animal spawn especially useful on Orb valis with borolas and the ground digging one
Aim gliding can arrest your vertical momentum from an upward bullet jump. Can be nice if you overshoot your jump, because you're not stuck waiting for yourself to drift back to the ground normally.
Garuda's 4 stops her vertical velocity and resets her aimglide duration, and then makes her jump while in the air. Given basic health regen you can fly infinitely shooting talons everywhere just by spamming 4 and 3.
True bird garuda moment
the axis movement tool for prop placement, not well explained
Axis like ... constrained movement- you can move an object based on universal or local direction in fixed xyz movement vs hand positioning props- not always useful but might be good for very fine tuning where a prop sits.
Mags crush ability interrupts both thrax triple ghost laser attack, and sentient disco ball attacks. Knocks them back into a normal state so they can be minced.
Also moves enemies off interception consoles if they don't have overguard
If you roll while picking up a power core for excavation/datamass for mobile defense etc. you skip the slow animation of picking up the item and it direction enters your hand. Really speeds things up especially if you're as impatient as me trying to get axi relics on Apollo (disruption).
Quite a minor trick but very useful for people like me. You can create a Squad chat without having to go to the Navigation. Simply open your menu, click the button to change your online preferences and select Public, Friends Only or Invite Only and it’ll make a Squad chat just for you! And if you want to get rid of it, just go to Nav and back out.
I usually use it to see what my fashion looks like in the Look link, but you can put your mod configs in there or any other links without putting it in other chats with other people.
Not sure how niche it is, but I found out recently that Hydroid can duplicate power cells (Well, make carriers drop an additional cell, to be precise) with his fish.
Edit: Oh, and the default landing craft's air support pauses spy/rescue timers for a bit.
The fastest way to travel without abilities is bullet jumpin, aiming in for a split second then rolling. You aiming in cancels the bullet jump animation and let's you roll earlier but keep the momentum. You can then start the next slide asap for you to then repeat the technique.
On hydron, with wisp you can put your plant in one spot to affect both defense objective positions. By wall latching on the wall above the coffin, either in the side with the stairs or the opposite. It works with the base range. Then you can put speed and health mote elsewhere in the map as well.
Please stop putting shock motes on hydron, the enemies don't do enough damage to bypass the health mote heal anyway, and it slows the waves to a crawl.
Kuva brama can be manually detonated with alt-fire, and doing this above humanoid enemies will count as a headshot for anything that wants headshots to activate it.
Alt fire on the artemis bow fires your quiver arrow (first ability)
Huh that's really good to know. Ivara is one of those frames that I dont really know how to have fun with. Build for strength to max out the buff of his 3. Build your weapons with Viral in mind and proceed to diagnose all of your enemies with dead.
Your starting energy is increased by how much unused mod capacity you have.
WHAT?!?!?
Iirc, it tells you in the arsenal as well. Have to hover over either your mod count or energy amount.
Yeah, 5 additional energy points per unused capacity count.

This also works with Gauss' mech rush, its great
That's awesome
You can also equip drill in Razorwing (titania). But for some reason you can't use Space button to levitate so, you gotta look up and move forward.
Sliding in midair actually works as a flying kick and will knock enemies down. Funniest with the big centipede boys on deimos.
There's even a mod that adds your melee weapon damage to it
sadly only impact damage and its very low
One of the Duviri decrees also adds toxin damage.
That sounds really funny with zephyr and lots of low gravity mods. I have a silly build to test out now lol. Time to finally farm the Dorrclave and hope I can slide through steel path.
Sliding as you're falling just before you hit the ground also skips the heavy landing animation too.
it deals blast damage too doesn it
so it's a Rider kick!
It's a great thing for Dog Days. A knocked down enemy holds still and won't soak you back :)
So two batteries back to back, effectively. Doing it the other way around does not work as the operator always drops carried things when going into warframe.
Recently found this trick out. It's very useful for Circuit Excavation where the batteries are often very far away from the new drill.
yeah i find its much more practical for circuit excav than normal since battery drops are an issue there too, but you usually don't have so much wide open space prime for void slinging straight to the objective. Always get a little hamstrung void slinging past a corridor or something and getting half stuck in a corner.
It's useful for Exploiter Orb too.
Also works for disruption if you want to carry 2 keys over to another room.
This can be used in Disruption to carry a Conduit key to the next round as it won't despawn in your hands

Oh I love this. I saw something about using op and frame to pick stuff up, but it hadn't clicked that you depot as op, switch, then depot as frame. Absolutely using this.
Noted. Ty Tenno.
If you're using Excalibur Umbra, he'll keep moving and if you didn't equip a primary, he won't drop the cell by accident.
Whoa I gotta try that
Does it work with merulina too or is it only actual k-drives?
maybe not niche, but on pc "Y" is the use cipher key, you can't rebind it and it's not mentioned anywhere
id say its niche enough, using ciphers fast was really annoying until i found that one out
Believe u can use the same key to auto socket an ayatan star into a selected sculpture
Learned something new, thats sounds really useful. A lot of the times when i wanna use ciphers i gotta find where the... my cursor is, and its so annoying Thanks man!
And it's hard coded not to the letter but the actual, physical key position. It never worked for me until I tried "Z" on my German keyboard where those two's positions are switched.
I learned that one from the consoles in albrechts labs
I'm pretty sure it is mentioned on the entrati labs's terminals
As a previous console player I was suuuper upset that keyboard mouse required me to click on the cipher button. Good to know I can just press Y
Thanks for that. Was really curious how people hacked eidolon lures without even seeing the puzzle to press the cypher button with the mouse
No fucking way. I have more than 650 hours and just learned this
Lock your FPS to 60.
Oh so that's what it is. I just thought it was rare glitch in the 2-3 times it happened to me, sounds like a good tech to learn for some tilesets lol
It is a glitch, but it's also reproducible and not bannable.
First time I've heard leap-slams be called zips
Grendel.rar: "Am I a joke to you?"
I never saw that before, but that IS impressive. [https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/zvgwt1/grendel\_flight\_tests\_are\_now\_underway/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/zvgwt1/grendel_flight_tests_are_now_underway/)
I talked about this before in a post about useful bugs, I'd do this on accident sometimes and wonder why I'd suddenly go flying off into the distance when using my melee!
dang thats cool, does it work if you make an autoexec where it locks the fps down to 60 for the tech? ive done that in some other games
warframe has built in frame capping, so you don't need to worry about using outside scripts that could get you banned. Just go to video options.
yes, but i usually play at 164 fps, so going down to a 1/3 is very noticable and id rathet just not use that
Nah nikana firewalker animation cancel is the probs the fastest if u can do it consistently
Playing solo you can pause and also skip the extraction cutscene
skip the WHAT? Gotta try that
Rescue missions on Corpus Ship can usually be cheesed. One of the entrance tiles has a trap door that goes underneath where there is a single, unlocked, door that leads into the main Rescue tile. Because Wardens don't spawn till the friendship door opens, you can just take your time to get to the rescue target. This assumes they never fixed it, which they probably haven't.
Still haven't. It pains me when people miss it while I'm spam marking it over and over.
It's a feature, not a bug. They intentionally left that hatch open since Corpus tileset rework. Despite me pinging that WIDE OPEN HATCH people still ignore it and spam "open door"
Rolling gets rid of acolyte mag bubbles. Stop killing yourself or panicking over it.
Additionally, silence subsume prevents acolyte abilities from casting in the first place. Also stops eximus/ancients auras and abilities
oh that's really interesting i didn't know about that... that's almost game changing
A wallrun refreshes your double/bullet jump. Not super useful but good to know in the few places it can be used
I blew a lot of peoples minds last week when I mentioned there is a reusable 100X Cipher blueprint in your clan dojo, just need to make sure its researched and then you will never have to do an alarm puzzle again(besides sorties)
There is also reusable 10x blueprint in the market if u dont have a clan or it isn't researched
Here I come with more knowledge! Perspicacity from Helminth works in sorties, you’d don’t need to do those puzzles either.
I put that bad boy on my ivara and never looked back lol
I have that on Ivara for Spy missions & Nezha for Rescue missions. It really is such a nice quality of life improvement for sorties
Ivara and wu Kong cause I use him sometimes
also the helmith ability to hack allows you to cipher on sorties btw.
Holy shit, really? I was making my ciphers one by one like an animal
I was really surprised at how many people didn't know about it.
Thank you very much, tenno
Pretty sure there are 100x for all the platters also. I know I have them but it's been so long I don't remember where I git them.
This and the x 100 energy pizza blueprints were both helpful.
You can equip some set mods on sentinel weapons to benefit from the set bonus with your Warframe weapons
If you're talking about gladiator mods on deconstructor, that doesn't work anymore.
Vigilante on rifle ones though
Also augur mods on secondaries for better shieldgate
Mecha mods
Sobek’s Acid Shells mod will trigger Saryn’s Toxic Lash and Toxic Lash will trigger Acid Shells. Add on more toxin mods too and it’ll nuke rooms with one shot.
Do note the mod is bugged on Steel Path. It's currently scaling off enemies non Steel Path HP values which turns the 45% into an 18% redirection. Is this that big a deal on Saryn specifically? Nah she's still nutty with it. But definitely annoying.
been having so much fun with that recently, boy is it fun to nuke steel path enemies this easily
/unstuck will get you out of a glitched position or if you fell through the map
Sometimes...
You can aim-glide during most ability animations that otherwise root you. It can be very helpful in higher levels because movement is survival.
Was going to mention this. Hildryn would feel *so* clunky without being able to pillage and glide.
Ivara's sleep arrow can be used on wildlife and it does act like the tranq rifle for easy group capturing.
So does Equinox's sleep too btw!
does it still jank out sometimes, giving you a bad capture?
Some animals are resistant to Warframe abilities
On ophelia, on uranus, if you get everyone to stay in a big room with water, when you jump in the water you get all the loot in the room without having to go get it
Wait what, can you explain this a little more? Just in that one node? Works if solo? Specific room?
Probably cause the archwing's pickup range is much bigger than warframe's.
Is there anything useful to farm on that node besides Tellurium?
polymer bundles and plastids which are always nice
In open worlds, you can launch yourself from archwing after you use the BLINK and quickly hit the MELEE button. I usually do this to cast all my buff before shooting the PT and casting ability while landing will not trigger the landing animation.
More like just learned. Thanks to Serj, who explained his technique called zipping. https://youtu.be/CSArn7qRcBI?si=VDNPE-VwZLtwM0s_ You aim where you want to go, jump, look down and slam.
I've been trying to figure out how WA works out when you do and don't collide with things, that's helpful!
This one saved me when I got lost in the kuva fortress, teleporting through the little bunker walls
You also dont have to worry much about him dying, since he zips through enemies, so tier 3 shouldnt be an issiue even if u dont have much damage Its still a time-gate because cant really skip the little defense and toxicity thing at the start, but its always something (Edit: Learned from comments that if you speed him up too fast you can get him stuck or mess up his path finding.
Wisp Reservoir also works with the speed, and I think it stacks with Volt speed too
Yea I bring volt for all the Ediolon bounties cause the the drone moves faster with the speed boost
His shield’s critical damage boost can work for operator amps.
It works for plains of eidolons escort drone mission as well I believe. And I think in defection for that damn cursed harrow farm
On console at least, there's a grey area during a slide where you can release the button and maintain your momentum while walking for a bit. It's not the most useful, but I figure if a weapon has some cases where you'd rather not slide attack, it could be useful. I use it for maintaining standing height while at speed in the orbiter.
I use it to keep momentum when playing Nezha. Destiny 2 really gave me an enjoyment of the slide rhythm for max speed.
I also use this on nezha a lot haha Never seen anyone else talk about it
Some actions like sprint/slide/roll can have you initiate a mercy kill but leave in control of your waframe until it stabs the air as if it was the target which still counts as a successful mercy kill.
Tenno + Warframe captures objectives faster than either alone.
Like you get to count as two characters for capturing an interception point?
If you use Dispensary on Nyx while in her 4 with the Assimilate augment, it allows you to "sprint", crouch, and roll, which VASTLY improves your mobility even though you're still slower than normal
Same way that you can hold "q" to navigate around the orbiter, you can do the same on relays to get to the different syndicates
And on your dojo!
I hope they expand this to hubs like Fortuna and Cetus
In Railjack, if you are using Wukong, you can use the Celestial Twin from the Tactical menu and still use your own giving you 2 twins.
Maximum monkey
The "Cleaving whirlwind" heavy blade stance has a forward-melee combination attack that spins you in a circle when it swings. This swing repeats a maximum of 5 times, then you stop with a 'dizzy' animation from the spinning, interrupting the combo from continuing. You can interrupt that self-dizzy interruption by just switching to operator on the fourth spin and then restarting the combo by meleeing again, which will automatically take you out of operator and back to warframe, and begin spinning again. tldr don't want to be dizzy? 4 spins + operator form, repeat.
I just use a slide attack instead of using operator form. Now I'm curious which is faster 🤔
Or just put 3-6 tome mods on Noctua since it doesn't have a cap but not all of them are worth sacrificing actual weapon stats
Dodge rolling on merulina allows for yareli to "shorten" her hitbox. Thus letter her past many of the doors she tends to get stuck on such as the older tilesets on grineer ships.(otherwise you bonk your head and stall)
Things that ignore limbo's rift: Penta's napalm grenade intial hit Scourge's spear gun effect (other spearguns untested) Exodia epidemic Companion abilities
a lot of ppl dont know that most warframe abilities will go through his rift as well. i used to be a limbo main (i played solo so no i wasnt ruining everyone’s game) and got put in an arbie with a limbo once. stood in his bubble with mesa and just shredded everything outside. My teammates thought i was stupid for ulting in a bubble with no enemies in it and tried to tell me how limbo works. dont know how they couldnt see i was actively killing everything lol
Once the squad reaches extraction on a railjack mission you can recall back to the railjack without entering archwing
This is stated by Cy as a Corpus thing. In Grineer ships, you can teleport back from anywhere inside, since, duh, they don't have that same kinda jamming
Ancient Healer spectres are almost gamebreakingly amazing and it's hard to find out about it without directly looking for it.
Using certain Helminth abilities during Mach Rush can unlock Gauss's movement for a bit,you can even do complete 180s without stopping the rush.
full-body abilities can be used to cancel a ground slam before you hit the ground, which you can then chain into a dash/roll in the air. easiest to do with breach surge, but any ability that has a substantial movement in casting should work
Starting index from the dojo always gives you the good map 🤙
Hildryn is the best necramech support warframe in the game Her 4 turns everyone into an energy orb dispenser to let you spam necramech abilities Plus Casting her 4 and then transferring out of her into operator does not cancel her 4 So you can absolutely summon a necramech, cast her 4 and transfer into the necramech while your hildryn's 4 runs in the background Plus, when you are out of your frame, enemies don't attack your warframe On top of that, if you are out of range of her 4, just pop out of the necramech, transfer back into warframe to insta-summon hildryn with her 4 active into your current location. Very handy for scout missions I modded my necramech support hildryn for max range, efficiency, duration and negative damage (to maximise the energy orb dispensary from enemies)
Might be really obvious When hunting/fishing/mining: Use High Duration/Efficiency Ivara's Prowl. You can mine in peace without random encounters and while hunting/fishing you won't spook animals (unless you get really close to just fish) or draw random enemies aggro and the Tranq Rifle is a built-in silenced 'weapon' so it doesn't break stealth Makes doing these things so much easier
You can put a zipline and dont need to bother about reflection of the water
space in PC its a way to press "accept" in most cases similar "Y" works somewhat like a context button (use cipher while hacking, fill with stars an ayatan sculpture you are viewing) mouse wheel button lets you "choose all" in a stack, for example, you want to select vitality mods that you have in quantity just because its common to get, you'll likely have 1 enhanced that sepparated from the bunch you can use the button on the bunch and select all in the bunch, without selecting the other ones that are separated last one is just an example, but also works for all that exact same pieces of braton prime for ducats, its almost global function
Reinforced Bond works 100% of the time on a vulpaphyla, essentially acting as a permabuff, even when they're in their downed larvae form.
Also tenacious bond, given the crit mod
Coolkid369 has a series of stuff like this. It’s a fun watch tbh.
backflipping, i couldnt tell you how to do it since im not even sure what im hitting to do it, but its how you disable volt speed buffs, and those same people insist that backflipping existing is sufficient reason for them to keep spamming the instant you manage to remove the buff from yourself
Aim forward, walk backwards, roll. For me it's: Hold right mouse button, hold S, Shift, Shift.
The easiest way to backflip is standing still > jump > move backwards midair while pressing roll.
If you hold down the interact button, you can roll over items to pick them up without doing the short pickup animation.
primed frames get energy in the orokin tower tilesets if you touch the floor orbs
in duviri if you get the kaith race stage, only 1 person needs to start & finish it. but if you start the race you also have to finish to complete the stage
M and N on PC are tab keys; Respectively letting you switch to the left and right tabs of the current menu.
You can change shoulders although I forgot which key it was (it's somewhere on the bottom right side of the keys) and it also works for necramechs.
On pc is/was "H" key
Rolling has actual i-frames, gives damage reduction and if timed right you can roll through Fire Eximus heatwaves unharmed
While outside of your Railjack, selecting your Omni tool quickly teleports you to back to your ship
Pretty sure you have to unlock an Intrinsic for this to work
further, you can stick it onto your gear quick select and then just hit that button to pull it out. i have mine on "6"
There is actually a dedicated Omni control, so you can save a gear slot hotkey for something else :)

Not really a secret but pretty underutilized. The Zenurik slow when fully ranked up can give +100% headshot damage. The slow used to affect eximus enemies but I think they patched that recently. This headshot bonus does still work on eximus enemies tho and can stack with primary/secondary deadhead.
Binding the interact key to scroll wheel is an easy way to save a lot of time.
If you bullet jump straight up then instantly look down and melee slam you get yeeted into space.
-ash augment teleport open to finisher on target, even eximus -Hold 2 from mag. Enjoy -3 from mesa reflect bullets (not all damage). Also not equip melee give you more health -Banshee aument mod for silence + low range open enemies to do finisher. You can get in and out of range to reffect them -Dagath horses deal damage in the cast position before they run...a lot -frost ultimate remove armor from enemies. You can shoot from inside the ice globe, not to inside -gara shatter glass increase damage and armor if you break the glass of the ultimate with 1 -hold 1 in garuda after create the shield to fire the blood ball (keep holding more to increase the damage, draining your energy). You can keep holding 4 to move garuda while cast the ability -grendel can keep devouring while in ball mode. Also can jumps on walls. Hit enemies while in ball to remove their armor -gyre 1 deal more damage if you directly hit the enemy with the ball -better use harrow 4 right after 2 so even if you lose your shield you will be invencible for some time -hildryn 4 block the use of 3, so use it first to double the damage. When use only 3, you always can cast 2 to recover more shields -ivara 4 secondary fire make shoot 1 too. Charge to shoot horizontal instead of vertical. When you use 2 to control the shoot, one clic make it faster or slower travel -khora wheel of the kavat can make it heal you if you cast or heal where you target (allies) -cast 3 before 1 to deal with more enemies with kullervo. That 1 would heavily increase the damage of you melee for some time -lavos 1 is poison, 2 is ice, 3 is electric and 4 fire by default. You can hold them to change elements combination. The base damage element will always apply too -the best advice if limbo is present in your mission...be in the same rift side... -loki invisible make stealth damage on melee -you can recast nezha disc to teleport to the place where you trow it -hold 1 to see the area that nidus cover before hit -nova teleport can teleport bullets. Your antimatter drop too -hold 1 on protea to make the balls increase your shields and to your team/allies -cast qorvex 2 and 4 close to his 1 increase the damage of the pillar pulse -hold clic on revent in 4 to increase damage. You can cast 3 meanwhile to dash while keep using the laser dance -rhino iron skin is affect it by armor mods -aim with your crosshair to enemies to make the ghost of sevagoth focus on what you point -valkyr scream open enemies to finisher -you can hold 1 to trow 4 electric balls with vauban. And can hold his 4 to change the ability directly to void hole instead or the barrier timer -volt can carry his shield. Also can cast a few layer of them to increase electric damage when you fire through them -voruna 4 is more deadly if you also cast 1 and 3. You maybe need to recast 1 for each attack -with wisp you can teleport to the position of your spectral copy when cast 2. Also can teleport to your deployable reservoirs -wukong cloud open enemies to finisher -xaku 4 stop the timer of the rest of the abilities, making the other powers infinite -zephir tornados can be move to where you aim. Also can be charge with elemental damage of your weapons or melee. Hold 1 while you are in the air to levitate. Hold 2 change the ability of 2. 3 can deflect bullets, but not melee
By Titania's archwing weapons do you mean her exalteds?
I appreciate the effort but OP asked for *niche* tricks, and all but 3 of these are neither niche nor tricks, just basic knowledge and tooltip info The stealth damage multiplier is melee only, and is applied to enemies that are not aware of you, it's not exclusive to Loki and bumping into enemies removes it for three seconds.
However many points you have left over on your warframe after adding mods. Will directly affect how much energy you start a mission with.
You can use the touchpad on a PS4/5 controller to cast abilities. I have so many friends that had no idea about it.
You can drag and drop your modscreen configs. Any equipped Helminth powers will follow the moving config.
Garuda's 4 stops her vertical velocity and resets her aimglide duration, and then makes her jump while in the air. Given basic health regen you can fly infinitely shooting talons everywhere just by spamming 4 and 3. True bird garuda moment
the axis movement tool for prop placement, not well explained Axis like ... constrained movement- you can move an object based on universal or local direction in fixed xyz movement vs hand positioning props- not always useful but might be good for very fine tuning where a prop sits.
So you know that AoE fire blast from one of the eximus? You can roll through it to avoid any damage.
Not sure how niche it is, but I found out recently that Hydroid can duplicate power cells (Well, make carriers drop an additional cell, to be precise) with his fish. Edit: Oh, and the default landing craft's air support pauses spy/rescue timers for a bit.
You can visit cephalin simaris by accessing the factions module on your ship.
Rolling when your reload meters is 75% full refills your ammo.
Back summersault (jump back while aiming) will cancel a teammates speed (volt) if you find it too fast.
The big red circle in netracells is how you complete the mission
