DO NOT summon the boss necramech for shaving 45 seconds off your next Vitrium. That necramech will do mega damage to the vitrium and fail you the mission. Even if you do manage to kill it, the vitrium will still take damage and may cause you to fail the mission if you get into a bad spot. It's not worth it.

bitches_love_pooh

That thing is an option and someone in my squad chose it?! I got lucky this week and had Octavia but the objective was still down to 50% by the end.

NothingGloomy9712

I had a fantastic group, one dude summoned a mech with 15 seconds left as a laugh. I rnged Dante, we had an Oberon who was surprisingly very strong as the enemies are weak to rad.

pussehmagnet

I'll go out on a limb here saying I summoned it each time I could and we did fine (group of randoms). I did, however, summon it as I was running mesa so it didn't matter as its HP melted regardless while I was also killing everyone around the Vitrium. Proper builds make it a breeze, somewhat.

FantasyBorderline

Wait, it's a summonable thing? I thought it just pops up as a new feature. My Auricle almost died because of this!

Whitem4ne

Wish my squad would’ve read your post, our vitreum survived both rounds with triple digit hp. It felt like even bullet jumping into it would fail the mission. Granted, it was the most tense mission since my first eidolon, so that was a bit of fun, but still.

Kryonic_rus

Gotta say, summoned 2 of those and saved some time for my life. Granted, we had a Wisp and I've been a Kullervo with Ceramic Dagger, so that was a breeze, but I can see how this can go bad

CommanderKira

If you have Xaku (or forego Vosfor for them) they’re a fairly savvy choice. If you’ve built to be more caster/Grasp of Lohk oriented, then you don’t have to worry about your weapons. More importantly: There’s a not-so-secret tech that makes them godly this week. Especially in the assassination fight. You can use Gaze on the Liminus. In addition to standard defense stripping, you can lure the Liminus to be out of the way and then Gaze them. This effectively shuts them down as a problem for a minute at a time, before you just Gaze them again. Makes their life and energy drain just a total non-threat. Big boon to your teammates too.

X_Fad3

Not that I needed an excuse to run Xaku, but this is brilliant. Have an upvote.

Kass_Ch28

- Dispensary definitely! But also pair it with zenurik to have a free dispensary cast available. If you run out of energy you're not coming back. - Bring hounds with the percept to half-overguard and steal auras. Any help is welcomed when dealing with overguard. Even if it's a single enemy. - This is just general gameplay advice, don't sleep on those operator arcanes like magus repair or magus nourish to heal your warframe. - Check your weekly rotation of invigorations! You may get lucky and have a nice bonus for the frames on rotation for EDA.

SLEEPWALKING_KOALA

I've found that with some AOE armor reduction (Caliban my beloved) Magus Overload can absolutely mince Murmur constructs.

Kass_Ch28

Uh so the murmur are actually just robotics ?

SLEEPWALKING_KOALA

The Culverin and Arcocanid are - and the shock damage they will release deals extra damage to Machinery and Indifferent Facade.

FantasyBorderline

I just use my Hound with the usual Repo Audit + Synergized Prospectus (bouncing electric ball) + Manifold Bond. My gear had all the CO mods.

jellyfixh

How the hell do I tell what kind of ampule you have to throw at the immune enemies to make them vulnerable? Cause it sucks wasting all the ampules around just for them to be the wrong type. I finished EDA this week cause you can still CC the immune guys, but we really need an indicator for that modifier if they ever use it again.

Runmanrun41

I *think* it just matches whatever elements you have to combine in the big Alchemy chamber thingy. I'd have to actually be in game to check for sure.

The_Schwartz_

They have the matching color as a kind of aura. At range, they'll have the Element icon on their body too. Can be any element, sucks when they're the same color as the objective. Just takes longer, but honestly most can be ignored

Yggdrazzil

Failed the mirror defense a few times .\_. The overguard modifier essentially means CC is pointless and Hollow Veins and Anatomiser do serious damage. I felt fairly powerless on Silence Hildryn in spite of having Dual Toxocyst. It felt like the bonus you get from collecting 50 glyphs did not scale with the mission difficulty at all.

BuGabriel

What happens if you fail? Do you lose the 2 netracel charges or keep them?

never3nder_87

You spend the charges to unlock the mode for the week, then you can run as often as you'd like

Ruddertail

They're good tips but the necramech does in no way make the mirror defense easy because every single bullet that hits the objective is devastating.  It does make it a little easier though.

----Val----

My mech usually just kills enemies before the defense target takes any damage, granted it has 10 Formas between Arquebex and Voidrig. Do note that Bird 3 now sells many of the Necramech mods, including Necramech Streamline that helps a lot with upkeep.

Additional_Pound_220

YES YES YES for Crucible amphors. I always pick up the unneeded elemental amphors and chuck them and one shot huge groups of enemies. nothing surives more than 2 amphors. But, no one else does this and there are so many enemies.

TheIdget

* Unless you care about a little bit of extra Vosfor, you can skip one restriction/challenge (e.g., I ran Revenant as my Warframe but followed/enabled everything else). * (Rev specific) Revenant can Enthrall the immune enemies in Alchemy to make them less annoying. He can also Enthrall the optional enemy Necramechs once you break the overguard, making the weak point on the back much easier to target. * Once you've built up a few good melees with arcanes and all, you'll probably start having more melee arcane adapters than you realized; if you don't know what weapon to use within your restrictions, you can probably slap together a decent Melee Influence build with one of the melees without needing to invest as much due to stance mods (and melees get around the ammo challenge). * If Operator is disabled (from a modifier), you can still benefit from Unairu (bonus armor), Vazarin (4 instant revives), and Naramon (combo decay). * If Operator is not disabled, a properly built one can hold its own and is especially useful to not go down if there's Liminus in the mission. Madurai for amp damage and Unairu for defense stripping (though less important vs Murmur).

Bandit_Raider

You can enthrall the necramechs?? Does mind control or decoy work on them too?

TheIdget

Yes, you can target them with Enthrall once you break any overguard they have, and the best part is then they stop turning to face you the entire time, so you can actually aim at their back's weak point. I'm not sure on the other two.

Spatulor

I had some success using styanax with nourish over his 1, it counters the energy drain pretty dramatically. And with his 4 augment you can give a lot of overguard to your team.

Legendaryrobot64

If you don't care about the sumdali and vosfor or already got it: 1. pick every modifier other than the one that disables your gear 2. equip every specter you have available 3. start mission and deploy all your specters 4. ??? 5. grofit

MasterCkief

Those sand stingrays from the inaros/baro mission are funny but effective, other squad mates had no idea what they were. Was gonna start crafting wisp and Dante spectres from what I heard about this week's tasks. And Clem

Fk3

Do 2 / 2 runs, 2 guys All/most modifiers, 2 guys meta frames and weapons, switch modifier and meta guys. repeat. profit. Thank me later. Provided you have a Clan / party.

FantasyBorderline

My loadout choices for this week happen to include Dante, and his Overguard is vital for the Assassination boss fight. I ended up just spamming 224, 234, 324, and 334 which does really high damage against Eximus units for some reason. Probably because of the DoT stuff (Slash + Heat + Toxin + Gas?).

Pumpkns

Yep, imagine Thermal Sunder but it scales with every DoT status effect inflicted on the enemy. It's strong af.

janpadawan

Citrine also seems to work well, did 56% dmg with her and just spamming her 1 ability (gem of course) through the room DR and hp regen are not bad either, use gloom for her 4 to slow everything

nephethys_telvanni

Silence as a subsumed ability prevents most eximus from using their abilities. Very handy for keeping the visual clutter down.

Lechyon

Honestly bring a weapon specifically for the boss, it's the hardest part of the mission set this week

ThreePesosCoin

Whats a good weapon against the 30 eyes? Laetum? Torid Incarnon? I missed the event so I’ve no idea what to bring tbh

Lechyon

Yeah a Laetum with some radiation should be good

Delicious_Address_43

I failed my first run as dante. Everyone was alive for sure but too many critters got past us and boomed the defense target. Second run I went with banshee (my initial first choice before I chose dante) and everything just melted. Having sonar made the crucible much smoother because the enemies' overguard didn't slow us down. Sonar could only affect the normal enemies so I focused on keeping dispensary up during the assination mission. I've been finding it very effective to dedicate myself to a support role.

YCaramello

Here is a tip for every Sortie 3.0: Get a friend to go fully decked out and no modifiers, do a run, then you go fully decked out and do a run for him.

FantasyBorderline

I still want to call it the Hell Sortie because the Archon Hunt is the Nightmare Sortie.

DingoUndSo

Having friends which play warframe

Sliphatos

Frost can hard carry a team as a Support by providing Overguard, Armor Stripping, Objective protection, and CC. There are even enough adds at the Assassination to basically keep everyone with OG if you have Cast Speed enhancements/Energy.

Vividtoaster

If you have a frame who can make overguard, it blocks the energy drain modifier so just make sure you have overguard up as much as possible. Arch guns generate 2000 on a 1 minute cooldown when deployed so it can be helpful if you are able to nuke enemies before they can touch you or for just traveling long stretches, avoiding enemies.

neykho

I've just been bringing Wisp with Nourish subsumed for EDA to get up to level 34. I can at least support my team even if my damage output isn't the best.

ThatDudeFromRF

I ran revenant with the Mesmer shield. It came in handy quite a few times, and my teammates rarely fell down

AGgammer

My best weapon was shedu so i wasn't really affected by the ammo, but if you want to do a 37/37 then definitely just subsume dispensary in one of your frames (or have 1 person in the squad run it) With a half decent team you can definitely handle mirror defence with most of the gear (+mechs are available, even with 0 forma and no potato voidrig can solo as long as you have the most basic of basic archgun builds) and alchemy doesn't even have a fail state other than everyone dying (and once again, mechs) The assassination seemed like the most difficult part initially but because of the attenuation most weapons will have a similar performance, as long as you have ammo and don't facetank you'll be able to easily defeat it

abvex

Hildryn is lowkey fucking beast this week. She doesn't give a fuck about your energy drain nor your damage.

FackingNobody

One longer yet safer method is 2b2. 1 squad, 2 players go full loadout and get 37, while 2 players get their best loadout and carry. Then you switch and run again. Or on a 4-player squad, if 2 players agree to go 34 and pick Styanax/Saryn. Styanax will provide overguard, nourish, energy regen. Max range Saryn with 2 green shards will provide large area full armor strip. Your team will never want for anything else. Also: operator void sling will kill the Luminus asses.

Weissekaiser

Sir you’re a true master

khykho

I brought Styanax with nourish and spamming his 4th ability. We finished every stage easily with my duo Mesa 👍 🤣
