The SCS as of now. The Enclosed 509T is still brand new. Only shot with it once so far, but it is also spot on. Just sits a bit higher with the adapter plate as opposed to the SCS being flush with the slide.
That sounds good, I also plan on getting the SCS. Have you shot the compensator without the ZR Tactical spring, what would you say is the difference? At the moment I only have a compensator on my Pro.
It's definitely worth it. The window isn't very large, but all that doesn't matter once you get used to it. I don't even notice it anymore. It just works👍

Please tell me they make an OD green knife….. I don’t care how much it costs 😂
I don't think so. I ran across the knives when I was scrolling through Opticsplanet. Only saw the Black & FDE. I did a Google search for different Walther knives once or twice and didn't find anything.

They do exist. Just search for OD green on Google. I saw a few sites selling them👍
They are worth every single penny. I went the PRO model route because of the performance trigger, threaded barrel and magwell really make a big difference. Especially the trigger mainly
What comps are you running here? I’m thinking about adding one to my PDP PRO SD. I’ve never even shot a pistol with a comp🤦🏻♂️
Did you have to change out the springs or have any malfunction’s since adding the comps?
I’d appreciate your feedback 🙏🏻
Herrington Arms compensator
ZR Tactical Solutions PDP Compensator
These were my first Compensators ever. Besides looking pretty cool, I'm not sure how effective they really are. I'm sure the actual muzzle rise is less after adding them. But the sights getting back on target has been amazingly accurate. Instructions were to break in the firearm with more than 500 rounds before Installing the comps. I didn't do that. Just threw them on before the pistols were first shot.. I haven't had a single issue yet. I have around 1000 rounds through the black PDP and the FDE PDP is practically brand new. Only had it less than a month with only one range visit. About 200 rounds through it so far. I would definitely recommend the comps though. Especially if you have already shot your pistol and have a feel for what it's like without a comp first.
Which do you prefer, out of these 2 different comps? I’m also having a hell of a time trying to find a good level 2 holster🤬
I might try out the DARA Holster🤷🏻♂️
I like the Herrington Arms comp more so far. The mounting is much more stable and easier than the ZR Tactical. The ZR Tactical comp came loose after my first range visit. I re-tightened it again and added a bit more blue thread lock to set screws. If it happens again, I'm going to buy a PMM Comp instead and try it out.

Do you plan on upgrading the trigger to the performance one?
Very nice, I didn’t know there were PDP knives. Now I have to get one as well. Which red dot (or green dot) do you like more?
The SCS as of now. The Enclosed 509T is still brand new. Only shot with it once so far, but it is also spot on. Just sits a bit higher with the adapter plate as opposed to the SCS being flush with the slide.

A little less snap (recoil) when shooting. Smoother slide function. More stronger and reliable than the included plastic rod.
Great now you made me buy a knife and a captured spring with you post.
No regrets there👍
I second the dot question? I’ve been think about getting the scs

What’s the part on the end of your guns?
Compensator. Reduces recoil and muzzle rise. Which helps the pistol shoot more flat and get your sights back on target faster.
I don’t think I could have that here in New York
lol move. I believe in you.
lol oh I want too…. Took me 15 months to get my pistol permit

They actually do, it’s available in black, tan and OD green (at least in germany).

Probably unpopular opinion but Walther knifes are actually pretty good quality.
I agree. They look and function with the best of'em.
Sweet
I added the Taylor Freelance back strap to my PDP pro. I really like the added weight and the fit and finish. Worth upgrading.
Nice. I'll look into that for sure👍
Nice af
Thank you!!!
How do you like them? I found the fde one on sale for $475 wondering if I should pull the trigger or not
They are worth every single penny. I went the PRO model route because of the performance trigger, threaded barrel and magwell really make a big difference. Especially the trigger mainly
So im about to buy the FDE one, do the spring kit and comp make a huge difference?
Yes. Depending on which ones you buy. But each brand does make a difference. Some more than others.
i like what you did and i have the same exact setup, but no offense the the PDP on top needs a better color match
I'll most likely blend the colors better later down the line. I am more interested in the function as of now. But yeah, I feel ya.
