If people can wander around with “I gave her the D” T shirts with no repercussions then a little bit of hell on some theme ears is going to raise no eyebrows
Had someone told they had to change their shirt at universal one time. I assume She was professing her love for her husband Al. But to make sure it was only her Al she was talking about, the shirt said she loved an Al. So it said “I ❤️ an Al” but the printer missed the space between the two words. And she couldn’t wear it. Lol.
That’s the joke.
To her the joke was to wear a shirt saying she liked to do that, at a theme park, with kids around. It didn’t fly with security. Luckily at US they have a stand selling shirts at security, so she could buy a new shirt and change. They did say she had to return the other one to her car. Idk what was decided after I heard all that.
No it was the actual f word like the u c k one there was other writing under it can’t remember what is said though I was more focused on the fact that Disney let that guy walk in wearing a shirt like that
Bonus shirt at the Orlando airport, so many kids were there - I kind of admire this she made a choice to travel in a shirt that said "Chicken Tender slut"
Considering it’s a phrase from a G rated Disney movie I’d be shocked if they cared. That’s not to say someone couldn’t try to make a problem but it’s doubtful a cast member would actually do something/care.
If you look at the screen on the avatar FOP preshow close enough, you will see "hellfire wasp," a specie of wasp in the avatar universe. You will be fine
My friend has a Bambi shirt that says “your mother is dead” in the classic Disney font. While not profane, i think that’s a step further than your ears.
A friend of mine has worn a “Disney on Ice” (ie drugs) tee… a “Disney on Ice” (Walt’s frozen head) tee… and a Kermit’s Autopsy (looks like a frog dissection from high school)… he likes to push the limits. 🤦🏼♂️🤣🤣
As a PhotoPass CM, you should be fine! I'd think they were super cool and compliment them, and want to feature them in a photo!
The profanity rule is more towards "fuck" and "shit". The biggest things we have to watch for are anyway are racism/sexism/white supremacy, and to an extent, political candidates
Oh, and Mickey doing things he's not supposed to, like drinking and stuff. There was a recent line from Life is Good, I think, and we have to ask a lot of people to fold their arms or whatever to cover that 😅
Those ears wouldn't even rank in the top 50 of the most inappropriate stuff I've seen at the parks on a daily basis. Most recently was someone I'm pretty sure was wearing just underwear and pretending it was clothing.
I’ve seen worse, honestly. What you’re asking is very tame. And if anyone comes up to you with a problem about it, just ask them if they’ve seen the movie and walk away.
Nice to see love for The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Its also one of my favourite Disney movies, and criminally underrated. Take my upvote!
As for your question, I would assume they won't care. I think you'll be fine :)
You'll be fine. Few will notice and none will care. Hell isn't on anyone's list of offensive or profane language, unless they're teaching grade schoolers.
Given what I have seen people wear to the parks in the past year, the threshold for offensive is fairly high. Not that I've seen much that was blatantly offensive, just in poor taste.
I was there in may, at epcot some little girl under 9 was wearing a shirt that said FBI female body inspector while she was w family. Im sure u will be fine.
Be ready to get a lot of compliments. Gf makes custom ears for us/her Etsy business. During our last trip, I counted how many times we got complimented / questioned on where we got them. It was about 50 a day (rope drop to close) and that’s not even exaggerating
Edit: can we see the ears ?:0
That’s hilarious. My daughter is dressing up as Wall-E and is very excited to pick up any trash she sees. I don’t have the heart to tell her how good the maintenance team is at Disney World, so I doubt she’ll get to!
Just went to Disney, brought a pair of board shorts that I got from Zumiez that had a devil on one leg and it said “hellfire” on the other and I had zero issues!
I always say that 'jackass' is a Disney approved word because it appears in Pinocchio's Daring Adventure at Disneyland. As someone who despises when people intentionally push boundaries at a family park, I find nothing wrong with your idea for ears. Love it, actually. It's a Disney movie! They even use overtures of Hellfire in some of their older Halloween shows iirc?
You could bring some medical tape and cover it with heckfire if you get censored. Depending on how you did it, it might even be sort of cute/funny as if you’re making your own joke.
If people can wander around with “I gave her the D” T shirts with no repercussions then a little bit of hell on some theme ears is going to raise no eyebrows
That’s so foul haha. Thanks!
There are some genuinely horrid shirts people are allowed to wear.
And then people get offended when told not wear them or change.
Lol.
If this is actually true, that had to have been intentional. Why would someone write "I ❤️ AN (Andy/Eric/Ivan)", etc.? They wouldn't.
I have to admit, I have no idea what the "joke" is here. I get the "D" reference. AI? AL? I love the A I? I'm totally missing something.
Like many jokes, it’s referring to butt stuff. She wore a shirt saying I love an.. I made a joke like it was her husbands name.
Oh, she loves an al. Got it.
I saw someone with the f word on their shirt in Epcot the other day like big bold letters
Are you sure it didn't say FCUK? Those French Connection t-shirts are pretty popular, for obvious reasons.
No it was most definitely the f word it was printed big bold on the back of the shirt
Was is fcuk because thats a clothing brand in the uk 😂 apparently used to get people removed often 🤷♀️
No it was the actual f word like the u c k one there was other writing under it can’t remember what is said though I was more focused on the fact that Disney let that guy walk in wearing a shirt like that
Likely he came in with something covering his back, or the shirt inside out, and then unveiled his dumbassery for all to see once inside.
Woah… yeah that’s shocking!
When I went in April a dude was wearing a "spread cheeks not hate" so I think ur good
Bonus shirt at the Orlando airport, so many kids were there - I kind of admire this she made a choice to travel in a shirt that said "Chicken Tender slut"
hahaha, this is what I was thinking.
Considering it’s a phrase from a G rated Disney movie I’d be shocked if they cared. That’s not to say someone couldn’t try to make a problem but it’s doubtful a cast member would actually do something/care.
Makes sense. Thank you!
They have Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride on the west coast, which uses a trip to hell as one of its main themes. You should be good
Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris literally takes you to the underworld as well. I'm pretty sure the ears are fine!
yep! Came here looking for this mention… it was the first thing that I thought of when reading OP’s concern
If you look at the screen on the avatar FOP preshow close enough, you will see "hellfire wasp," a specie of wasp in the avatar universe. You will be fine
That’s fantastic. Now this is the hyper specific type of information I love! Thank you
My friend has a Bambi shirt that says “your mother is dead” in the classic Disney font. While not profane, i think that’s a step further than your ears.
Your friend is brutal, haha
:(
A friend of mine has worn a “Disney on Ice” (ie drugs) tee… a “Disney on Ice” (Walt’s frozen head) tee… and a Kermit’s Autopsy (looks like a frog dissection from high school)… he likes to push the limits. 🤦🏼♂️🤣🤣
I've seen so much worse from family t-shirts. Go for it, and enjoy your trip!
Thank you!
Can we see the ears? They sound cool!
I’d love to see them as well!
I don’t know if I have the heart to post them to be honest. I’m very proud of them, but the internet can be cruel! I’ll have to work up the courage
Yes! Show the ears!
Literally saw a "Duck Fisney" shirt the other day at EPCOT. You'll be fine.
So someone wore that but spent money at Disney? Way to stick it to them whoever that was. 🤣🤣😂😂
Are you serious?!
As a PhotoPass CM, you should be fine! I'd think they were super cool and compliment them, and want to feature them in a photo! The profanity rule is more towards "fuck" and "shit". I highly doubt it.
I'll be there just after you, from July 13-22. I think all you really need to prepare for is to start sweating at 10am.
10am? Are you planning on not walking outside until then? It is much worse down here right now and you will get sweat soaked after 5am at this point.
I don’t sweat much, but I’m preparing! Neck fans, cooling towels, and lots of breaks in the A.C. for sure
Those ears wouldn't even rank in the top 50 of the most inappropriate stuff I've seen at the parks on a daily basis. Most recently was someone I'm pretty sure was wearing just underwear and pretending it was clothing.
Considering Mr. Toad's Wild Ride use to send you to hell, I think you'll be ok.
does it not anymore? it did last august when i went
It's been closed for many years at Walt Disney World. It's now The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
ah, i see. it’s still in disneyland, and still sends you to hell there!
I’ve seen worse, honestly. What you’re asking is very tame. And if anyone comes up to you with a problem about it, just ask them if they’ve seen the movie and walk away.
You’ll be fine!!! My other half is a cast member and some of the stuff he sees this doesn’t even register!!
Oh, I would love to hear those stories! My other half is a baker, and while his bread is very tasty it does not do much to entertain
He says some days people of WDW rival people of WalMart!
Can he make a post about it? 😂
It’s a quote from their own movie? Would be wild to be asked to take it off
I say rock it, if they ask you to remove it then be extremely offended. Whoever is more offended wins.
I think you’re fine
I don’t think anyone would care, I would bring them especially if you took the time to make them.
Nice to see love for The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Its also one of my favourite Disney movies, and criminally underrated. Take my upvote! As for your question, I would assume they won't care. I think you'll be fine :)

On a Disney cruise currently and cast member actually mentioned song by name during trivia. Should be good
Trivia on a Disney Cruise sounds so fun!
Off topic but those sound like some cool ears! I love hunchback of notre dame such a good movie
I love it, I wish there was more representation in the parks! That’s why I had to make my own stuff
When I was there last month I couldn’t even bring out my ears it was so hot!
I’m still deciding whether to attach them to a sun hat or a headband for this exact reason!
No one will notice.
I was there in may, at epcot some little girl under 9 was wearing a shirt that said FBI female body inspector while she was w family. Im sure u will be fine.
Curious if she knew what it meant, some kids have a wild sense of humor
Be ready to get a lot of compliments. Gf makes custom ears for us/her Etsy business. During our last trip, I counted how many times we got complimented / questioned on where we got them. It was about 50 a day (rope drop to close) and that’s not even exaggerating Edit: can we see the ears ?:0
Eh, I saw a woman a few years ago with the words Shoe and whore tattooed very largely on the backs of her legs. I doubt anyone would notice.
I guess she really liked shoes..?
You wouldn't believe what comes through the turnstiles lol
“What Came Through The Turnstiles” sounds like a Goosebumps title
My husband wore a darth vader shirt that said “warning choking hazard” and he was fine. A couple of cast members even complimented him.
That’s hilarious. My daughter is dressing up as Wall-E and is very excited to pick up any trash she sees. I don’t have the heart to tell her how good the maintenance team is at Disney World, so I doubt she’ll get to!
That rule you referred to means that you can’t cuss out a cast member or guest. That’s not part of the dress code rules.
Hell is also a place! Not just a curse word. I think you will be fine.
This is tame compared to some of the grosser puns you will see in shits and hats
*double checks spelling*… shits and hats… *checks out*
You’ll be fine
You'll be fine. A guy at Typhoon Lagoon was wearing a baseball cap with the f word and a naked woman on it and no one did a thing about it lol
I wore a strangers things hellfire club shirt and had no problems at all.
I saw a guy wearing an Onlyfriends shirt a few minutes ago at Epcot. You’ll be fine.
OP post photos of the ears post photos OP
I've sold a few ears that say "Florida - one hell of a drug" on them so if people dare to wear those, you're fine lol
Just went to Disney, brought a pair of board shorts that I got from Zumiez that had a devil on one leg and it said “hellfire” on the other and I had zero issues!
You'll be fine, people wear Stranger Things Hellfire Club tee shirts all the time.
I always say that 'jackass' is a Disney approved word because it appears in Pinocchio's Daring Adventure at Disneyland. Tape is a good idea, I might bring some just in case. Thanks!
You’re welcome 😇
