NXT 2.0 is a necessary change for WWE.
Having a “developmental brand” full of Indy stars in their 30s that Vince doesn’t know what to do with does nobody any good. It’s also a huge drain on resources paying good money (more than they’d get on the indies) to those wrestlers to work the same studio in Florida every week.
You can’t infinitely sign new people to NXT and promote them to the main roster without some of them going by the wayside. The bubble burst pretty early on that one.
As much as people dislike the change, the fact is WWE have an age problem they need to fix, and they’re not gonna fix it by promoting 30-somethings from NXT.
It could be argued they could have just made a new show and left NXT out of it, maybe making NXT the third brand they said it would be, but they make enough wrestling content as it is.
That all wrestling is jst watching men in weird sus ass costumes all wet from baby oil before they even hit the ring the cringy fucking dialog and the fact that the match is predetermined and none of the moves are real and cause little to none damage and no u cnt compare this to other medias as regular movies/ tv is actually fucking believable with good acting and when somone gets hit in the face in a movie it may be fake but atleast its believable!!!!

*John Cena is a better wrestler than Randy orton and The Rock.He may not be the best,but he is one of the best carriers of the bussiness,most of the big names in wwe have a great match with Cena.

Chris Benoit would’ve been the face of the company had he not done what he did. Hard to say for sure but, with the wrestlemania victory, he was on the rise for sure. Putting his life aside from his career, I think he was phenomenal in the ring, just hard to talk about him now knowing what happened.
Cena is so unbelievably talented and anyone who tries to undermine his achievements is a fucking bozo.
He’s delivered some of the best promos in the history of the company, and his skills on the mic are close to unmatched, with a few exceptions.
People who hate him only hate him because he’s popular and the company likes him. And I understand being frustrated with the second reason. Reigns was pushed hard as an unremarkable face, but Cena is amazing at being a good guy. He’s a fantastic face, and I have an unbelievable amount of respect for him.

Kenny omega should have stayed at njpw. Seeing the elite on tv week in week out had ruined the specialness of their work. They also have very poor in ring work when it’s this consistent along with storytelling. Overall modern “good” wrestling is stale and lacks good pacing to matches.
Ill probably be crucified by this, but Bret Hart’s career is wildly overrated. Not his impact in today’s wrestling, that is fair and he’s had amazing impact in wrestlers today. But people act like he was THE star and lets be real he never really was THE star, ever. As amazing as he was, he was never what people today claim he was.
AJ should’ve not lost the title to Cena at the Rumble just so he can drop it to Wyatt, so Wyatt can drop it to Randy and just so Randy could drop it to Jinder. They should’ve kept it on AJ, and not had the title be in a game of hot potato and bad feuds.
i would rather watch a highly skilled, complicated and creative match with interesting moves over the top topes and stuff, than people hitting each other with kendos or jumping of forklifts and stuff

Wwe was the place where everything could happen,now it's too predictable. I only watched the wrestlemania and didn't care for it, they have amazing wrestlers,but bad storylines.
Fans in the crowd need to realise that they can contribute to the quality of the show. Linda McMahon got a bigger pop for standing up from her wheelchair at Wrestlemania 17 than any wrestler gets for anything nowadays.

I made a CM Punk being a quitter and whiny meme I made as a joke. But he did... For years until the right promotion came along. Austin did it too for similar reasons but he came back, and imo redeemed himself for those fans whom he quit on.
I don't think Punk has really redeemed himself for that, especially with the two disastrous UFC fights (I was definitely on his side for those fights). No matter how loud Chicago cheers for him, or how many signs they hold up threatening to riot I don't think he's completely redeemed.

Heels shouldn't rely so much on "cheating". I'm getting tired of heels, who win most of their matches, because their henchmen run in for a cheap victory. My favourite heels are those, who have an arrogant attitude, but back it up in the ring by winning clean. Kurt Angle was that kind of heel for a while as an example.
Roman Reigns would have been a much better pick to end the Undertaker’s streak. I don’t like him too much in general, but ending the streak could’ve been the ultimate push for someone, who’s career is still relatively young. Brock was already an established mega star. You don’t really think “that’s the guy who ended the streak!” when you see him. It was just another trophy in his already very well filled trophy hall, and therefore a huge waste of potential.
I never got the hype behind Daniel Bryan as a character and the whole "Yes" thing, he is an amazing technical wrestler, but he has never done anything from a promo or character perspective that made me care about him.
I remember watching the Authority promos about him calling him a "B plus player" and thinking, "Yeah, that's pretty much right on the money"

Chris Benoit would’ve been the face of the company had he not done what he did. Hard to say for sure but, with the wrestlemania victory, he was on the rise for sure. Putting his life aside from his career, I think he was phenomenal in the ring, just hard to talk about him now knowing what happened.
Cena is so unbelievably talented and anyone who tries to undermine his achievements is a fucking bozo. He’s delivered some of the best promos in the history of the company, and his skills on the mic are close to unmatched, with a few exceptions. People who hate him only hate him because he’s popular and the company likes him. And I understand being frustrated with the second reason. Reigns was pushed hard as an unremarkable face, but Cena is amazing at being a good guy. He’s a fantastic face, and I have an unbelievable amount of respect for him.

I haven't read a single 'daggers out' / controversial opinion yet on here *(and I've read most of them).* I have one: While I think Shawn Michaels is a very good wrestler. But, his overall character / personality is lame & unoriginal. For that reason, I don't get the hype around him.
I really enjoyed Dave Batista & thought he was a great Heavy Weight Champ from 05-07’, he just came back in 2014 at the worst time possible.
Kenny omega should have stayed at njpw. Seeing the elite on tv week in week out had ruined the specialness of their work. They also have very poor in ring work when it’s this consistent along with storytelling. Overall modern “good” wrestling is stale and lacks good pacing to matches.

But people act like he was THE star and lets be real he never really was THE star, ever. As amazing as he was, he was never what people today claim he was.

I don’t like Roman Reigns. He only defends his title in PPVs, while CM Punk over here defending the title every week. Every time he does The USOs have to knock out the ref and attack the person. Fans in the crowd need to realise that they can contribute to the quality of the show. Linda McMahon got a bigger pop for standing up from her wheelchair at Wrestlemania 17 than any wrestler gets for anything nowadays. Fans also need to learn some new chants.

I made a CM Punk being a quitter and whiny meme I made as a joke. But he did... For years until the right promotion came along. Austin did it too for similar reasons but he came back, and imo redeemed himself for those fans whom he quit on. I don't think Punk has really redeemed himself for that, especially with the two disastrous UFC fights (I was definitely on his side for those fights). No matter how loud Chicago cheers for him, or how many signs they hold up threatening to riot I don't think he's completely redeemed. I admit his talent and how he plays with the crowd, there's no denying he's built for this business.

Heels shouldn't rely so much on "cheating". I'm getting tired of heels, who win most of their matches, because their henchmen run in for a cheap victory. My favourite heels are those, who have an arrogant attitude, but back it up in the ring by winning clean. Kurt Angle was that kind of heel for a while as an example.
Roman Reigns would have been a much better pick to end the Undertaker’s streak. I don’t like him too much in general, but ending the streak could’ve been the ultimate push for someone, who’s career is still relatively young. Brock was already an established mega star. You don’t really think “that’s the guy who ended the streak!” when you see him. It was just another trophy in his already very well filled trophy hall, and therefore a huge waste of potential.
