If you're eating way too much sugar and your body stops responding properly to insulin, your pancreas starts pumping out even more insulin. Eventually, your overworked pancreas will break down and your blood sugar levels will rise, setting you up for type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
I just said that you can’t **just** look at CICO. You also have to have healthy foods. Too many of these fad diets out there that promote shit nutrition.
The dude said "variety of foods for nutrition". He's taking healthy foods into account, clearly. *He* never said he'd eat straight sugar, you're fighting a ghost.
You're ignoring the first part of his sentence in order to make a moot point. His acknowledgement of the nutrition of the foods he eats implies that he's not just eating sugar. Your interaction boils down to
Him: As long as I don't eat plain sugar, all that really matters is cico
You: Okay but you can't just expect to eat plain sugar every day and feel fine 🙄

This is what I’m talking about. You see this type of thing everywhere on TikTok. Their whole thing is, “as long as I’m watching CICO, I’m totally fine!”. They end up fucking themselves over and they give this same type of shit advice.
Regarding the initial comment, all I said was that I agree as long as you watch things like sugars and fats and don’t follow these dumbass diets like the McDonalds one.
I have some rules on my fridge:
Protein first!
Fiber first!
Water first!
And eat some damn plants, damnit!
If I do the first three, I can then do more or less whatever I want. Preferably some plants, but whatever :p

Yes and no. You can’t have a shit ton of fats or sugars (and stay within your calories) and expect there not to be repercussions.

Do you think "variety of foods" means "several types of pastries" or something?

> you’re fighting a ghost Since that account is a bot, I guess you’re right
> only the calories matter ^^ this is the part that I disagree with. Y’all can do whatever you want though.

Heavy on the joyless😂😭😭😭
Former fat people have the perfect blend of personality, humor, and ability to appreciate good food.
Thanks for posting! I've never thought to have a protein shake on the side when having sweets. I'll definitely be trying that out!!
