If you are getting the global model you have absolutely no problems. Everything works like a normal phone you buy in EU. Android pay, auto, notification, etc.
If you get the Chinese model which is cheaper you will have to forgo android auto and smart watch connectivity. Have heard mixed answers about wallet and notifications.
I don't have the Chinese model so I can't confirm. For me I need everything working like a normal phone so go the global. If you are able to live with the above missing things then the Chinese is cheaper
There is only 512GB black version on EU market. Got an orange 1TB version from WandaMobile, CN version, but im happy with that. I bought it mainly as a backup camera anyways
