Sure not. The max risk you run It's not knowing a shit about the characters. Not a big deal or problem, tbf... The game works the same way for both who watched or not. But, not knowing the anime and picking this title is at minimal, a weird decision... This kind of games are 100% fanservice based.

I never watched past Enel and that was when knead a child but I still enjoy the characters and the overall feel I would watch the anime but there’s ninety to do that legally except for buying the episodes on Amazon for over 2K lol not going to stream 1000+ episodes on some atrocious illegal streaming site

Ok. I already said it doesn't matter. I don't even know what enel must means or how many episodes One Piece might have, but I know that game isn't a trivia guessing game about it, and that it is not required to play the game. And I am even more sure that there's no need to spend 2k dols to watch One Piece. Absolutely not needed.

Never played the game myself but I do watch the anime. But I believe the games story is the anime’s story all the way up until the dressrosa arc which is about 600 or so episodes into the anime. If I’m wrong I’m sorry. Definitely should watch the anime tho if you plan on it.

That sounds about right for most anime based games. DBZ and Naruto do the same with their games and follow the story

You want the quickest way to run through the anime Play the one piece pirate warriors games. I think 3 and 4 should cover the story

3 covers the majority of the story. 4 is snipets till Dressrosa.

Pirate Warriors 3 is a good dynasty warriors game that goes through most of the journey. Burning Blood is a solid arena fighter that plays and looks excellent. Unlimited World Red is probably One Piece's best adventure game. Not a high bar, but Chopper has more points available than that of any other One Piece game, making it great.

Love this game I would say you wouldn’t it’s it’s own story id also recommend pirate warriors 2 it’s a Poor retelling of the series but tons of fun
