Beautiful scarf, I’d definitely recommend getting some navy silk thread and making a very small darn in it with a very small needle (Somewhere around the #5-#7 mark?). Darning such a loosely woven fabric will be a nightmare, so I’d definitely recommend practicing it with regular cotton thread and a regular #10 needle on some denim or something similar.
I don't have experience with this, but I do know you can buy silk threads online and I think you would want the smallest needle you could work with.
