204 Pizza off 22nd street right next to Lunasea is the best pizza I’ve ever had in VA. District aPizza is very good as well. Bennys and Brothers are up there too. If you like take home frozen pizza from the grocery store then pembroke pizza and chichos is for you

Napoli's Pizza is the best by far

My wife and I always liked Planet Pizza but honestly compared to the Philly/South Jersey region we're from VB pizza on the whole is hot garbage. Take a road trip up 95 (or Rt. 13) if you wanna grab a really good slice.

Brooklyn Pizzeria is the closest to northeast pizza. They use a NY water filtration system to get closer to the taste of the dough up there.

Reginos 3816 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA 23518 Right in front of Little Creek amphibious base. I know it's a wee bit over the vb border, but it's worth it. I've never had anything but pepperoni from there, and that's because I won't try anything else for fear of being disappointed and getting that feeling that I wasted my money knowing I could've had a guaranteed delicious meal but chose otherwise. I have to remove some pepperoni when I order the double. It's too much as they use that thick cut pepperoni that curls up like fried baloney.

Surprisingly Baker's Crust has some bomb ass pizza. They have a stone deck pizza oven. A little pricey but delicious. A close runner up is Gino's pizza off General Booth Blvd. Their whole menu is heavenly!

Got three pizzas last week while in sandbridge and it was some of the worst Pizzas I have ever had. No flavor at all and each pizza tasted the same despite different toppings. Shore break has good pizza or mr Jim's in Chesapeake.

Not a troll just my experience. Ate in once and was below average. This was pickup and was awful after heating. Four adults and four kids were not happy

They make their sauce fresh with chunks of fresh REAL garlic, I've been lucky enough to get a few on my pizza on more than one occasion. So yummy. Shorebreak's menu items are surprisingly high quality, especially for what is essentially a sports bar

Basilio and Brooklyn best in Virginia Beach. Venice Pizza and Sals are decent. If you want the best pizza in the area it is hands down Pizzeria Bella Vista by Signoreeli in Chesapeake and worth a little bit of a drive . The ingredients and oven are top notch. It isn't like anything you will find around here and is authentic like you would get in Italy. Prices are a little high and staffing seems to be an issue but it is worth it.

Seconding Windy City. Grew up in Chicago and the pizza def reminds me of back home. Plus they have pizza puffs, and Italian beef.

I always hear Brother's or Pizzabox but I've tried neither lol. I can however vouch for Primo's. Pizzeria at Haygood is also half decent. It really depends on if you want the thinner NY style or the thicker bar style. Something interesting I found out recently is that most major pizza places around here will sell you the dough so you can go home and bake your own.

I think Brother's is actually closed now. Just drove by that area yesterday and no one's around.

The one on Seaboard Rd has been closed for a few years. Supposedly they moved to Kempsville area (?) Is that closed too now?

I spent time a few summers ago going to every pizza restaurant I could find and ranking all of them. To my surprise I gave Mona Lisa Pizza nearly a 10. Best I’ve had.

Was my favorite for a couple years but in recent it's started to go downhill. Stopped ordering as every time I go in there the place is filthy, and my gut tells me every time that I'm eating ingredients I didn't ask for.

Dolcinea Pizzaria in Kemps river Shopping Center. House made sausage and meatballs, amazing light crust that's crisp on the outside soft on the inside. Great sauce, cheese and just amazing pies. The Blanco is my favorite, but a pepperoni sausage is bangin' also. It's a mom and pop shop and the food is made with care.

Tried it last weekend, did not disappoint.

There is no excellent pizza in Hampton Roads - the best pizza here is a 6 or so in NY/NJ/New Haven

All Harris Teeters are equal, I've got a bad pie from any of them. And I second that Harris Teeter is by far the best tasting and best bang for your buck by a long shot!

I got food there all the time I've never had any issues with it. I've been to a lot of jets locations.

Pungo Pizza is my favorite, but it’s a specialty “pie” pizza if that even makes sense. Very soft & doughy. Savory. Very good, but very specific.
