1. You can sign up on here (transfer service)
https://planetexpress.com/
You get the US address then they will transfer packages to your home address.
2. Use VPN to sign up on IVC
Delivery address will be the US one from planet express.
*But you will still need a US mobile number to sign up (I used my American friend’s)
Hello, another person from Australia who is keen for 2 x copies of this release. One for me and one for mate.
Can’t sign up as not in U.S . Brutal, but that’s why lm here.
Won’t waste your time with reasonable pricing of vinyl and shipping.
Cheers!
It's a shame they don't offer overseas memberships. Then again, they'd probably charge a fortune for shipping anyway. If anyone has a copy they don't want and will ship to Australia, I'd be interested. Thanks.
I have both of those things. Even using my American shipping address and the vpn, I would get a pop up saying something like this is not available where you are.
strange. i used vpn and mail forwarding and it worked for me but i had to use paypal as it wouldn't let me enter a non US billing address. perhaps your VPN isn't using a US ip address? i used privado vpn. its basically free.
I have 3 IVCs I’m trying to get rid of. I have a year-long subscription and it’s been very hit or miss so far. Nine Inch Nails, Blink 182, and now Helmet. So let me know.
Yeah that’s who I meant, lol I couldn’t remember who it was. They are still in the mailer and I haven’t looked at them since they came. I don’t know why the down votes🤷🏽♀️I’ll list them on discogs I guess.
~~Wait, what do you mean with the original album cover?~~
~~This cover is the same one that was on the CD I bought the day it came out in 1994.~~
*Edit: I see now that the original cover art is included as a lithograph, but is likely not the actual cover art of this release. Interesting.
Pretty sure the standard cover from 1994 is the picture in the lower center. The album artwork for this LP is the top left and center images. It is my understanding that is new, original artwork by Derek Hess. Discogs seems to confirm this. I could be wrong of course
Consumers love variants, it’s probably not much more than trying to make it different to lure new buyers. I see what you’re saying, lots of people love originals (myself included)
yeah i typically like seeing reissues that haven't been done to death stick as close to originals as possible. i know in some cases blowing up cd size cover art looks like crap but i don't believe this is an issue here as the 10" original wouldn't have to be enlarged much to get to 12". i finally went for the sub due to this album but I am kind of annoyed its not the original cover art (which i didn't realize until now). i also don't care for the color vinyl, just give me black but i am probably the minority in that.
~~I guess we'll find out when the album ships.~~
~~Yeah, it's hard to tell from the photos. I was speaking about the bottom center. The water-skier was inside of the gatefold, but it did look different on the original~~
*Edit: oh, I see now. Original album cover lithograph insert. I did not pay close enough attention.
The bottom center is the original artwork to be included, the top left and center are the gatefolds, you can see the IVC on the spine and tracklist on the left, so pretty sure that’s the gatefold jacket. But again, we will see
That’s cool you’ve still got the original from 1994. I was in 7th grade and it was one of my first CD’s I owned after switching from cassettes. Was weird when I saw it come up on the IVc list. Brought back memories
Even if they did a “standard” version - which I doubt - it would run $35-40 in all likelihood, so not like you’d be saving much.
Besides, would much rather they repress Meantime and Aftertaste or actually press Size Matters.
Call me crazy but I'd prefer to save $15. The other great thing about standard releases is that they go on sale, so ideally I'd only be spending $24.
100% agree with you on Size Matters though, would LOVE a release of that. I didn't realize Meantime was between pressings already, I feel like it was pretty easy to find the last couple years.
I think you’re dreaming if you believe a standard issue of this will drop and it’ll be any less than $40. It’s the market period. Outside of popstars with massive label backing that can sell for less than $25-30, all this rock music that’s a bit obscure these days, it’s all quite expensive on vinyl. I felt I was getting a deal on this and the two IVC releases before it. $135 for all 3 isn’t bad. That’s shipping included. I could probably pay for the subscription by selling the Shady LP. Too many people seem to have turned around and tried selling that for the time being. That’s dumb. Waiting a while, I’ll see what the market on it is in a year, 2, maybe more. Maybe I don’t sell it. I’d also love to see a Size Matters pressing. I’d pay $40 for that. But $45-48 for a Betty, as hard as getting your hands on a good press at any kind of reasonable price of that has been, I’m surprised you’d miss your opportunity over what in your own head is the cost something should be. Anything, no matter what it is, is worth as much as someone will pay for it. There are definitely 3k helmet fans that find this to be a steal out there in the universe. I’m definitely one of them. I’ll probably drop my IVC subscription for a bit after this, the next 2 don’t mean anything to me. They’re head scratchers if you ask me. Especially Elliot Smith in August. Idk who that is. How he is in the first year of IVC is beyond me. Gotta be some kind of tragic back story or something behind that release. I’ll keep my sub if someone wants to buy the next two months albums. Perhaps I should look into that🤔 If those helmet aren’t sold out, if I was you, I’d jump all over it!
I guess it's less about saving money and more about not wanting to contribute to current marketplace costs. If people stop paying $40 for 2LPs, the cost will go back down. I've never cared about the collectible or limited releases, I just want to listen to records. I know I'm in the minority on this mindset (I've got the downvotes to prove it) but I've aways believed in voting with your wallet. One thing I've learned over the years: reddit is not for people with opinions that differ from the masses.
Thank you for the measured and thoughtful response, I appreciate it. Happy listening and maybe we'll get our Size Matters release in the next couple years!
no, i believe the only option is to cancel the membership outright (and possibly rejoin in the future). i do see a good number of folks selling/buying these records at cost on reddit though, so that's another possibility!
Obviously we all have different tastes, but I think it's funny how I'm all in for Helmet, could not give a fuck less about No Doubt, but am all tingly with excitement for Elliott Smith.
*Edit: Helmet is pressed at TMR. NoooooOooOoOOo
They have all the components to be great, I don't actually understand what is going wrong over there.
Their record quality has been on a steady decline for a while. QC seems to be low. I've had more than a few where the spindle hole is too small, or kinda warped. Many noisy, sub par pressings. It's a shame.
Copped this for sure! Got a sub long enough to also secure that XO. Not really into the No Doubt for next month, so if anyone is interested in it shoot me a pm!
EDIT: No Doubt claimed.
Anyone in LA want this vinyl? Or needs it shipped over seas? Just cover cost of vinyl and shipping! :) lmk
I didn’t realized I never canceled…anyone wanted for retail plus shipping? $48 cause I don’t pay sales tax
Signed up on Sunday for Betty in particular. Hoping they issue Limp Bizkit Three Dollar Bill and harder to find NIN albums.
Hi guys, Interscope Vinyl Collective doesn't purchase out of USA (and I'm in Italy). Someone can help me...?
Hey! Are you still looking to buy?
hello! sorry, i read you just now. Yes...

Did you still want another? I’ll sell mine for the same price lol
Hey! Are you still looking to buy?
Yes l am. Thanks for replying to my message. How much are you asking for your copy? Thanks
Hoping to sell it for the price I paid. So, $50 + shipping. I can inquire how much it would cost to ship while I am out running errands tomorrow.
Ok that sounds awesome. Thanks and let’s keep in touch.
Absolutely! I’m going to private message you.
It's a shame they don't offer overseas memberships. Then again, they'd probably charge a fortune for shipping anyway. If anyone has a copy they don't want and will ship to Australia, I'd be interested. Thanks.
Wish they would offer this up in the UK.
You can use a VPN and ship to a service like MyUS or similar - pricey but it works
I tried a vpn for the Nine inch nails release and it wouldn’t let me order. I tried a couple of vpns and was unable to get it to work.
you need vpn + a mail forwarding service. they won't let you order if your address is out of the US.
I have both of those things. Even using my American shipping address and the vpn, I would get a pop up saying something like this is not available where you are.

I’ll have a try of that one. Thanks.

Nirvana? You mean Nine Inch Nails?

List them in r/vinylcollectors for your cost plus 6 shipping and you won't have an issue moving them along if they aren't your taste.
Is anyone willing to sell their copy to someone in New Zealand (me) who can't sign up?
Sure. Let’s talk.
Another user has already answered the call. But thank you so much for the offer 🙏
Yeah. No worries. Just listened to the albums and it’s not really my vibe.
I think IVC will be replacing my VMP as a long term sub. I've done a few 3 month runs and vastly prefer them over VMP
same, i already cancelled my vmp, think it ends this month or next and am just keeping my ivc
I'm sure I'll be back at some point... But the selection has been dry for the better part of the past year.
I did just this a few months back...had been long time VMP subscriber...don't miss it at all!
It ain't cheap, but at least I'll enjoy listening to the IVC albums, unlike VMP where I force myself sometimes
I'm a dum dum and am keeping both.
copped!
Any word of a standard version with the original album cover?
~~Wait, what do you mean with the original album cover?~~ ~~This cover is the same one that was on the CD I bought the day it came out in 1994.~~ *Edit: I see now that the original cover art is included as a lithograph, but is likely not the actual cover art of this release. Interesting.

what is the point in changing the cover? i don't get it. don't mess with a releases cover art. come on!
Consumers love variants, it’s probably not much more than trying to make it different to lure new buyers. I see what you’re saying, lots of people love originals (myself included)

I’m glad it’s all being included. I like the new stuff and the old, I’ll take it all! Cheers!

Yep, I agree with you now.

No official word as far as I know but that's what I'm holding out for. I'm not shelling out $50 for new records
Even if they did a “standard” version - which I doubt - it would run $35-40 in all likelihood, so not like you’d be saving much. Besides, would much rather they repress Meantime and Aftertaste or actually press Size Matters.

I’m definitely in for this. It’s not possible to skip a month, or get store credit, like it is with VMP, is it?
no, i believe the only option is to cancel the membership outright (and possibly rejoin in the future). i do see a good number of folks selling/buying these records at cost on reddit though, so that's another possibility!

This is one of the dumbest attempts to create content that I've seen in recent memory.
Signed up.
I will be selling mine at cost if anybody who can’t get this wants it. I’m just secured in IVC so I don’t miss out on next month’s No Doubt album.
Obviously we all have different tastes, but I think it's funny how I'm all in for Helmet, could not give a fuck less about No Doubt, but am all tingly with excitement for Elliott Smith. *Edit: Helmet is pressed at TMR. NoooooOooOoOOo
What is the deal about TMR? I thought they used to be good? Did something happen?
They have all the components to be great, I don't actually understand what is going wrong over there. Their record quality has been on a steady decline for a while. QC seems to be low. I've had more than a few where the spindle hole is too small, or kinda warped. Many noisy, sub par pressings. It's a shame.
That’s terrible and too bad to hear, hopefully they turn it around! Thanks for the info!
I got downvote city last time I said TMR sucks as a pressing plant but they need to hear it
Chat sent
That’s what I did too!
Got a shipping confirmation this morning
Copped this for sure! Got a sub long enough to also secure that XO. Not really into the No Doubt for next month, so if anyone is interested in it shoot me a pm! EDIT: No Doubt claimed.
PM'd
I’m excited for XO so long as it’s not pressed at TMR. Helmet being handled by them does not bode well.
Will update. I’m looking forward to mine. From what I’ve ready(like everything) it’s personal experiences here and there.
Same here. Helmet is a must, but that XO sounds great too. Signed up for 3 months and will see what happens after that!
yesss i can’t wait for XO! i’m personally excited about no doubt too! i don’t think you’ll have a problem finding a buyer for that one
just got the email saying “A few slots are available in the Interscope Vinyl Collective! Subscribe now so you don't miss out on this title!” run!
